Abstract

Demand is a person's needs and desires for goods and services at various times at various price levels. Demand is a process of requesting something or a number of goods to be purchased or requested at a certain price and time. Demand is influenced by several factors, namely taste, price and quality. In this research, the author wants to discuss the factors that influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village and how these factors influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village. In this research the author used a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire instrument. This research explains the factors that influence the demand for sale banana chips and how these factors influence the demand for sale banana chips. In this research, the results showed that taste, price and quality significantly influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village. Price is a factor that has a greater influence than taste and quality on the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak implementasi metode pembelajaran aktif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan latar belakang semakin pentingnya keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam kurikulum pendidikan, penelitian ini menyoroti kebutuhan akan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif. Melalui desain penelitian eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol, metode pembelajaran aktif diterapkan pada satu kelompok siswa, sementara kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mendukung pentingnya menggunakan metode pembelajaran aktif sebagai pendekatan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar, dengan menekankan perlunya integrasi strategi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dalam praktik pembelajaran sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan aplikasi canva pada IPAS materi indonesiaku kaya budaya di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE yang dilakukan dengan 3 tahap. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket atau kuisioner yang diberikan kepada beberapa penelaah ahli, yaitu penelaah ahli materi, penelaah ahli media, penelaah ahli Bahasa, dan guru kelas IV. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli materi I sebesar 84%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli materi II sebesar 100%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli media I sebesar 84%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli media II sebesar 86%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli bahasa sebesar 90%. Skor validasi ahli pembelajaran oleh guru sebesar 94%. Dari skor tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan aplikasi canva pada IPAS materi indonesiaku kaya budaya di kelas IV SD yang dikembangkan sudah “sangat Valid/Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the effect and differences in students' learning outcomes through Canva learning video media in mathematics for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 101873 Desa Baru. This research was motivated by the lack of student interest in mathematics, as it is considered a challenging subject, coupled with the lack of innovative teaching media utilized by teachers, resulting in low student engagement during the learning process. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group model. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 101873 Desa Baru during the 2024/2025 academic year, from September 30 to October 5, 2024. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students (40 students), with the sample divided into two groups: 20 students in class IVA (experimental group) and 20 students in class IVB (control group). Data analysis techniques included prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using a t-test. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test. The results showed a significant effect of Canva learning videos on students' learning outcomes in mathematics on fractions. The t-test calculation revealed that the tobserved value (2.372) was greater than the ttable value (2.024) at a significance level of 0.05, leading to the acceptance of Ha and the rejection of Ho. Thus, Canva learning videos were found to significantly influence students' learning outcomes in mathematics on fractions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1). produce AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. 2). To determine the feasibility of AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. 3). To determine the response of teachers and students after the application of AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) development method using the 4D model through four stages including: Define, Design, Develop, Dissenimate. The results obtained from several relevant expert validators, namely, module experts get a feasibility score of 97.5%, material experts get a feasibility score of 86%, teacher responses get a feasibility score of 100%, and student responses get a feasibility score of 96.5%. Thus, the AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material "Structure of the Earth's Layers" in grade V Elementary School are very feasible to use in the learning process.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pengembangan UMKM berbasis potensi lokal di Desa Barung-Barung dengan studi kasus pembuatan jamu bubuk jahe dan perancangan logo produk. Jahe dipilih karena mudah didapat, memiliki nilai kesehatan, dan berpotensi menjadi produk unggulan desa. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, warga dilibatkan mulai dari proses produksi, pengemasan, hingga identitas visual produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan jamu bubuk jahe mampu meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil pertanian, sementara logo yang dirancang membantu memperkuat citra dan daya tarik produk di pasar. Pengembangan UMKM berbasis potensi lokal menjadi salah satu cara untuk memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat desa. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada studi pembuatan jamu bubuk jahe dan perancangan logo di Desa Barung-Barung. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi bersama warga yang terlibat langsung dalam proses produksi. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan masyarakat tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengolah jahe menjadi produk bernilai jual, tetapi juga menumbuhkan rasa memiliki terhadap identitas produk melalui pembuatan logo. Proses ini memperlihatkan bahwa pengembangan UMKM tidak hanya tentang keuntungan ekonomi, tetapi juga tentang penguatan kapasitas, kebersamaan, dan pelestarian potensi lokal.

Abstract

Efforts to develop the education sector in Langkat Regency continue to be carried out both by providing/improving physical educational facilities as well as civil servant teachers and honorary teachers which aim to increase school participation at every level of education and quality/quality. The learning media that will be applied at the elementary school level must be a medium that is easy to use and accepted by students. Image media can serve as a learning tool designed by teachers themselves to increase effectiveness and efficiency in education. Picture media in math education can help students understand concepts, improve clarity in learning, and engage students in the classroom. Students tend to be passive during the learning process if the infrastructure used in teaching and learning activities is less supportive. Efforts to overcome this, the appropriate and varied use of learning media can help overcome students' passive attitudes in participating in teaching and learning activities.  The use of image media in the teaching and learning process is said to channel messages, relate to real life with the material taught can be helped by image media as an intermediary. This research will be carried out at SDN 050660 Pematang Buluh, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The time for this research is carried out from August to December 2024 for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative method. As for the description of the results of this study, the researcher uses a descriptive method, which is a method that aims to describe the nature of something that is going on at the time the research is conducted. Research Cycle Design. This can be seen from the results of the preliminary test which stated that only 3 students or 9% were declared complete, while 29 students or 91% were declared incomplete. Based on the results of the post-test in cycle I and cycle II, namely: from 32 students, based on the results  of the post-test in cycle I, it can be seen that 18 students or 56.25% were declared to have completed their studies, while 14 students or 43.75% were declared to be incomplete in learning and cycle II it is known that 31 students or 99% were declared complete in learning,  Meanwhile, 1 student or 3% was declared to be still incomplete in learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the fact that students' interest in learning in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject, especially in the material "My Indonesia is Rich in Culture," is still relatively low, which is indicated by the lack of active participation, enthusiasm in learning, and learning outcomes have not reached the minimum completion criteria (KKM) or learning outcomes are still relatively low. The interactive learning model was created to create a more interesting, active, and collaborative learning atmosphere so that it is expected to increase student involvement in the learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 40 fourth-grade students divided into two groups, namely class IVA as an experimental class using an interactive learning model and class IVB as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires on students' learning interests before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was conducted using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test with the help of SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average value of students' learning interest in the experimental class increased significantly after the interactive learning model was implemented. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive learning model has a positive and significant effect on increasing students' learning interest in the Natural Sciences subject with the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture.
