Abstract

Students need to comprehend and become proficient in the art of writing scientific articles in order to be able to generate quality works in the form of scientific articles that they have written themselves (Matarese, 2013). Background of the research, there are problems:(1) Students have trouble coming up with ideas for scientific articles. (2) Students have trouble putting the right words together. (3) Main ideas that don't match up with the best topics. The aim of this research is need analysis of the model for writing scientific articles. The research method is both descriptive and qualitative. It involves doing preliminary research, such as a needs and context analysis, a review of the literature, and a survey of students. The people who were studied Putera Batam University students in the odd semester of 2021/2022 in state administration and english literature. The study's results show that students and teachers need the model to learn how to write scientific articles that include reading references, article reviews, observations, information and creative ideas, case studies, article manuscripts, and activated publication. The research results show that students and professors need the model to be developed based on the results of tohe needs analysis. This is because the model can help students solve their problems and get them more interested in learning by making learning fun.

Abstract

Neurolinguistic studies are a study in which humans how to acquire language. The purpose of this study is to explain the level where the phoneme is pronounced by the respondent. The theory used is a neurolinguistic theory initiated by Claudia Galluzzia and friends. Meanwhile, the method of data collection is a method by using recording technique. In addition, to analyze this data, the authors use the agih method or contribution method by using the basic technique for the direct element. Technique consists of the technique of percolation, change technique or technique of addition, After the analysis is done then obtained the results. The results of this study include a more dominant change process found in the respondent's speech and the second dominant process is the process of exploitation and the last is the process of addition. Details of the results of this study are: the process of percolation there are 5 times, the addition process there are 4 times whereas the change process there are 11 times. The percentage of the results is 25% (twenty five percent) of the process of discontinuation, the addition process consists of 20% (twenty percent), while the change process is 55% (fifty five percent) using the following formula divided by the total problem multiplied by 100 percent.

Abstract

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) based education serves as effective teaching method for developing students' critical thinking, creative, and problem-solving skills. However, implementing STEM learning in various parts of Indonesia, including at primary and secondary level at Karimun Regency, remains challenging. Pre-training observational data revealed that none of the 135 surveyed elementary and middle school teachers in Karimun Regency had received training in applying STEM-based learning to their teaching practices. In fact, teachers do not know and understand learning with STEM approach at primary and secondary levels. This international community service initiative offers training on applying STEM-based learning to elementary and middle school teachers in Karimun Regency, Province of Riau Kepulauan, Indonesia. This program conducted during the 2024-2025 academic year, involved 150 teachers. The training measurement outcomes show that: 1) The training program for creating STEM-based lesson plans was successful. 2) Teachers understand STEM-based learning concepts and can develop lesson plans that meet STEM-based learning criteria. This training program enables to incorporate STEM-based learning in their schools, thereby enhancing students' critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The results of this program contribute to teachers, school management, and the government to prioritize sustainability training to increase the effectiveness of STEM implementation.
