Abstract

Abstrak Karawang khususnya Kecamatan Telukjambe Timur merupakan kawasan yang padat akan industri. Kecamatan ini merupakan lokasi Kawasan industri Karawang International Industrial Center (KIIC) yang mana merupakan salah satu kawasan industri berskala internasional. Keberadaan industri ini tentunya memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif. Dampak negatif dari adanya banyak industri adalah penurunan kualitas lingkungan khusunya pencemaran. Keberadaan logam berat dalam limbah cair membahayakan lingkungan, kehidupan manusia maupun organisme lainnya. Upaya untuk mengatasi pencemaran diantaranya adalah dengan metode adsorpsi. Adsorpsi merupakan metode pemisahan dan pemurnian yang banyak digunakan, mudah, efisien dan low cost. Adsorben berbasis nanopartikel adalah adsorben yang memiliki ukuran partikel lebih kecil dari 1 mikron dan berpotensi sekecil atom dengan panjang molekul sekitar 0,2 nm. Adsorben berbasis nanopartikel untuk menanggulangi logam berat menggunakan magnetic reduced graphene oxide (MRGO). Karakterisasi material nanopartikel MRGO menggunakan spektrometer Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) dan AAS (Atomic Adsorption Spectroscopy). Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah sintesis dan karakterisasi nanopartikel MRGO yang harapannya dapat digunakan sebagai material penyerap logam berat. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar solusi untuk pengembangan material untuk aplikasi penyerap logam berat untuk mengurangi polusi atau pencemaran limbah akibat industri. Hasil dari penelitian ini, kandungan limbah Fe sebelum ditambahkan nanopartikel magnetik adalah sebesar 166,80 mg/L. Sedangkan setelah ditambahkan nanopartikel magnetik menurun menjadi 0,19 mg/L. Penambahan rGO cenderung lebih menurunkan kadar Fe dalam limbah yaitu sebesar 0,08 mg/L. Kata Kunci: MRGO, nanopartikel, adsorpsi, magnet.

Abstract

Pemanas induksi merupakan jenis pemanas yang menggunakan prinsip induksi. Pemanas induksi ini dinilai lebih aman dibandingkan dengan alat memasak konvensional karena tidak menggunakan sumber api eksternal. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui cara mengontrol frekuensi dari sistem pemanas dan pengaruhnya pada kinerja sistem pemanas. Dari hasil perhitungan dan pengukuran, diketahui bahwa pada frekuensi 100 Hz terjadi kenaikan temperatur tertinggi yaitu 6,8°C dalam waktu 600 detik. Dan nilai pemanasan rata-rata tertinggi terjadi pada frekuensi 1 kHz. Selain itu pemanas induksi ini memiliki konsumsi daya cukup rendah, yaitu dengan nilai konsumsi daya rata-rata sebesar 48,677 watt. Namun demikian, pemanas ini memiliki tingkat kesalahan pembacaan temperatur yang cukup tinggi, yaitu sebesar 9,83%.

Abstract

In a job in a steel smelting production company, there is a division which must prepare the mental and health of the workers who work in the company. Where the company needs a tool in the form of a foreign health check tool for each worker who mainly works in the production section of the steel smelting section. In that division the workers must be calm and healthy. To make it easier to check the health and raw body of workers, a tool is made in the form of detecting the level of human body tension or the stress level of workers. The whole tool is divided into several parts, namely the android mobile phone, the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, the MPX5700AP Pressure Sensor, and the DS18B20 Temperature Sensor. As those who use the tool, it has been made easier, namely that the system is in the form of the Internet of Things (IoT) and can be applied to workers' androids. This tool has been tested and can be used as Stredec Android via a WiFi connection or internet network without having to manually check.

Abstract

The hydroponic method is one way of cultivating plants without using soil. In this method the plants are hung in a pipe gap and drained with water, in the process of planting it takes accuracy in treating the condition of the water used to circulate plants, because the health of plants depends on water conditions. Things that must be considered in hydroponic planting include the pH of water and nutrition. This study aims to regulate pH and nutrient conditions in hydroponic plants automatically by applying a fuzzy logic-based control system so that pH and nutrient conditions are always well maintained. The sensors used in this study are pH sensors, TDS sensors (Total Dissolve Solid), and ultrasonic sensors. The results of the research that have been done show that the system design can work with an average percentage of error in the pH control of 0.039% and in the nutrition control of 0.017% with a system accuracy of 99.94%.

Abstract

The more andvanced civilization, humanity pay more attention to various factors that can affect productivity level nad the quality of an operation. Not only caringto work safety but also the influence from working set-up, level of welfare, work shift’s, and work targets can affect productivity level of worker. In fact, it is not easy to determine the conditions each worker accurately, apart from the possibility of enforcing conditions but also because the distance between field workers and guarantor. In order for this to realized, tools that can simplifies process of cheking process even in the conditions that not allow face to face. As a developing technology, Internet of Things (IoT) system can facilitate access to electronic devices via internet, which in this case can allow data retrieval when conditions of limited time and long distances. With using Blynk as the fundamental for system of Stress Level Detector (Stredec), by using NodeMCU ESP8266 platform is integrated with Arduino Uno R3 and four sensors to take the stress level determining variabels, that is GSR sensor, temperature sensor, heart rate sensor, and blood pressure sensor and connected to Wi-Fi and get displayed to smartphone and LCD on device.

Abstract

Recently, the need for cellular telecommunication services in Indonesia refers to a very large number. This customer growth rate must be balanced with infrastructure development. PT. Telkomsel carries out scheduled maintenance or maintenance activities on BTS devices. Based on these problems, the research carried out by the author aims to find out and understand the repair or repair procedures on computerized BTS devices at PT. Telkomsel, Karawang. The result of the research is that it is known that the application of a computerized system at PT. Telekomunikasi Selular GraPaRi Karawang helps the process of repairing BTS devices in meeting information needs. To monitor damage to BTS equipment, it is done by means of an alarm monitoring system using the iManager u2000 software.

Abstract

Fire is an event where small fires or large fires start that we don't plan and cause a lot of losses around it. Fire is a tragedy that often occurs in Indonesia. There are various factors that can trigger a fire including human negligence, natural factors and intentional factors. One type of fire that often occurs in Indonesia is a type of fire caused by human negligence, namely house fires where house fires can cause large losses, both material losses and fatalities. In 2020-2022 there will be lots of house fires caused by explosions of LPG gas where the initial cause of these explosions was not caused by gas cylinders but caused by devices from these gas cylinders such as hoses and regulators. Through this incident, we need a fire detection system that can detect the presence of leaking gas smoke or fire in the house. In this study the authors will create a fire detection system using Arduino Uno R3 as a microcontroller connected by an MQ5 gas sensor as an input that can detect the presence of methane and butane which will then issue an output in the form of a red LED, a green LED and a 5v buzzer as a reminder alarm.

Abstract

Carrying out maintenance on the distribution network is a series of actions or processes that aim to maintain the condition of the equipment so that it can function properly and prevent damage or disturbances that can interfere with the performance of the equipment. The focus of this study is on the maintenance of distribution substations by using a mobile substation unit that is synchronized with the substation to be carried out. The purpose of using this mobile substation unit is to avoid power outages or what is known as non-outage maintenance. Maintenance without blackout is the process of maintaining the substation without interrupting the supply of electricity to consumers. Where this maintenance is carried out in a state of tension. One of the distribution substation maintenance methods without blackouts is to transfer the customer load from the distribution transformer to the Mobile Substation Unit transformer. This research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kramat Jati by collecting data using the literature method, observation method, interview method. The results of this study found that PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kramat Jati performs two maintenance methods, namely preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.

Abstract

PT. Kalbio Global Medika (KGM) is one of the first and pioneer biopharmaceuticals in Indonesia and is a subsidiary of PT Kalbe Farma, Tbk., a leading healthcare provider in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Liquid pharmaceutical waste from the results of drug production activities will be collected and processed in the Killing Tank System machine before being sent to Lippo's wastewater treatment plant so that the hazardous substances contained do not have a negative impact on the environment. There are 2 methods to kill bacteria in production waste water, namely by the method of ozonation and heating with steam. Currently, when the Killing Tank is in Steam mode, someone has to wait for 2 hours during the Holding process. When it's finished, the steam mode wastewater treatment process must be turned OFF manually by rotating the selector switch to stop the supply of steam from the boiler to the Killing Tank. If the process continues for more than 2 hours, there will be a waste of steam used during the wastewater treatment process. This research aims to provide a solution to this problem, namely to simplify and increase the effectiveness of the Killing Tank machine. By adding the Omron H3CR-A8 timer to the Killing Tank, it will automatically stop the steam supply from the boiler according to the set time.
