Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is all health behaviors carried out on the awareness and application of PHBS can start from a very simple thing namum has a great impact e.g. Hand Washing Using Soap. Properly practiced hand washing is the easiest and most effective way to prevent a wide range of diseases. It uses an arduino microcontroller, an infrared sensor used to detect hands, an ultrasonic sensor as a detector on a tank and an I2C LCD as an interface. This proximity sensor is capable of detecting hands from a distance of 3-12 cm. While ultrasonic sensors are able to detect the in-tank in-tank with sensor readability with actual values of 99.68% for water tanks and 99.61% for soap tanks. I2C 16x2 LCD is capable of displaying monitoring level in the form of 0-100% percentage.

Abstract

One of the basic human needs in the household is electrical energy and the need for power used in the electrical load in the household is very limited, depending on the electrical power capacity owned by the homeowner in accordance with the value purchased, needed electrical energy in the household Exceeds the capacity installed power. The purpose of this study is to study the design and electrical control system used to prevent sudden tripping. The method in this study uses a load control system design method with 450VA power based on Arduino NodeMCU ESP8266. This arduino NodeMCU ESP8266 is designed to create a system that can connect the flow of electricity that remains connected and uninterrupted on the MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) due to the large amount of electric current discharged. The results of the design of this tool can be used to read large currents used then compare with the available electric current capacity. If the current exceeds the capacity in this design with a maximum current of 450VA, the system will begin to reduce the load from priority 4. If the current still exceeds the maximum limit, the system will turn off one by one the load in order of priority. For this tool it has been declared successful and is running as desired.

Abstract

The process of washing the motor cylinder block is done by manual method, namely by cleaning it using gasoline and then drying it using a dirty cloth. This conventional method has long been used in the washing process of motor cylinder block. So we need a tool that can perform the process of washing motor cylinder block automatically to make it more practical. This study aims to design and design tools that can realize the process of automating the method of washing cylinder block motors. First of all, the concept and workings of the Automatic Washing and Drying System (ADS) tool are determined, then the initial design is made, then determines the materials and components to be used, finally the final design of the tool is designed in detail by placing the components. Differences in the size between the design and the finished product often occur, the biggest difference being 1cm. Testing of several components used was also carried out including a reed switch sensor, a water level float sensor, and a digital thermostat. Reed switches can provide voltage at a maximum distance of 0.6 cm of workpiece. water level float sensor provides voltage at a maximum distance of 0.6 cm of workpiece. The digital thermostat was tested by comparing it to the htc-2 thermometer and there was the largest temperature difference, namely 0.5 ℃.

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dan angin merupakan pembangkit listrik berbasis energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konfigurasi pembangkit terbaik menggunakan Software HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Energy Renewable) di Pantai Sedari, Kecamatan Cibuaya, Karawang. Pantai Sedari, Cibuaya terletak pada koordinat 5o57.6’S dan 107o18.4 E. Data potensi energi surya dan angin didapatkan dari retSCREEN NASA. Hasil penelitian diperoleh potensi energi matahari rata-rata sebesar 5,17 kWh/m2/hari dan potensi tenaga angin sebesar 3,50 m/s. Desain pembangkit listrik hybrid menggunakan HOMER terdiri dari PV 0,075 kW, G1 1 kW dan Gen 2,7 kW dengan converter 25 kW, diperoleh Biaya Net Total Masa Kini (Total Net Present Cost/NPC) sebesar $ 82.080,25. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi penting tentang potensi energi terbarukan (surya dan angin) khususnya di daerah Pantai Sedari Kabupaten Karawang.

Abstract

Renewable energy is energy that comes from nature and can be used freely. This energy can be used as a power generation system, One example of the use of renewable energy is by making Hybrid Power Plant (PLTH). Hybrid Power Plant (PLTH) is a power plant consisting of at least 2 generators with various sources of energy. For example, in this study using a combination of a solar power plant (PLTS) with a generator Wind Power (PLTB). This PLTH is designed using 2 units 100WP solar panels and a vertical 300W wind turbine which will deliver the energy produced by PLTH to the battery as a power supply. To prevent the occurrence of damage and decreased performance on the PLTH system and battery, an Internet- Of Things (IOT) to monitor performance when system performance decreases so that it can be anticipated so that no damage occurs. In this research, used a Voltage sensor (Voltage Divider), Current Sensor (ACS712), Sensor Current (MAX471), Wind Speed ​​Sensor (Anemometer), Light intensity sensor (BH1750) and the Kodular platform as an application platform featuring sensor readings. Research begins with designing software and circuit hardware to test the success of the system, then design Kodular platform, as well as designing programs using software Arduino IDEs. In sending data using internet media, it is used wi-fi module (ESP32) to send arduino readings to webserver firebase with JSON program. Results obtained from sensor testing voltage and current sensors have a percentage difference with the measuring instrument, namely less than 3% this indicates that the sensor used can still be used work well. Abstract

Electricity is one of the main needs needed by humans today. Almost all tools used by humans require electrical energy. In Indonesia, the public has not yet fully received sufficient electricity, according to the Central Statistics Agency in December 2020, the electrification ratio was 99.20%. That means that there are still around 0.80% of areas in Indonesia that do not have electricity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the comparison of the power generated by a 200 Wp solar panel with a vertical 300 watt wind turbine. The results of the study can be used in determining an independent alternative power plant for residential homes. From the measurement results, the total value of the largest solar panel electricity production reached 747,992 wh. While the average wind turbine only gets 0.26 Watt. Solar panels can be used as an option in determining alternative independent power plants for residential homes because they can produce electrical energy stably

Abstract

Saluran Udara Koneksi Menengah (SUTM) adalah konstruksi termurah untuk pendistribusian tenaga listrik pada daya yang sama. Komponen utama dalam konstruksi saluran distribusi tenaga listrik adalah konduktor, isolator, peralatan penghubung, dan tiang. Pada penyulang Lambangsari terdapat 109 tiang, dengan 101 tiang sesuai standar dan 8 tiang tidak sesuai standar berdasarkan sudut antartiang. Masih terdapat beberapa tiang pada jalur distribusi tenaga listrik yang sudah terpasang namun tidak sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), terutama pada kesesuaian konstruksi tiang dengan sudut antartiang yang digunakan. Akibat yang dapat terjadi jika tekukan penghantar terlalu kecil sudutnya (semakin tajam sudutnya) dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan fisik jangka panjang pada penghantar dan tiang, kenaikan suhu pada penghantar, perubahan nilai arus, dan rugi-rugi daya yang dihasilkan. Perancangan jalur distribusi tenaga listrik perlu dilakukan dengan hati-hati. Terutama dengan memperhatikan kondisi geografis wilayah, sudut pada jalur distribusi listrik antartiang, jenis tiang, konstruksi tiang, dan masih banyak lagi.

Abstract

Grounding or grounding is a very important thing in the electrical world because with this grounding or grounding by reducing the risk of accidents caused by leakage of electric current that can occur. Not only that, by doing grounding or grounding, it can minimize or reduce damage to electronic devices in a building. This study aims to determine the comparison of grounding values between the DVOR building and the MPH building at PERUM LPPNPI by analyzing the use of earth tester tools to determine the grounding value.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal how to make the welding results solid and consistent. The factor that plays an important role in determining the strength of a material is the mechanical properties of the material itself. The welding process can affect the tensile strength and structure of the material. The welding process is a manufacturing process used to join metal materials and form components that meet the specifications required for the construction and manufacturing industries. This study evaluates welding techniques and focuses on improving process efficiency. Through experimentation and data analysis, Shows that optimizing parameters such as welding voltage and current, as well as material temperature, can improve the quality of welding results. Flash Butt Welding’s electric resistance welding technique is used to join metal parts by utilizing the resistance heat energy of the parts themselves. The advantage of this method is that it can combine various sizes and complex shapes of metal components, commonly used in industries such as motorcycle rims/wheels. Good quality welding results can be achieved by controlling and modifying parameters such as electric current and heat temperature.

Abstract

The Integrative Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN) at Singaperbangsa Karawang University with the title Optimizing Community Empowerment in Development to Improve the Economy of Sindangsari Village, Kutawaluya District, Karawang Regency, consisting of 23 students with various study programs. The Integrative Thematic Community Service Team carries out various work programs offline with due observance of health protocols during the period August – September 2022. As a concrete form of the university's contribution to society, industry, local government and community groups who want to be economically and socially independent, the Integrative Thematic Community Service team is actively observing and extracting data to find out existing problems, find solutions and create increased community empowerment.
