Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak positif dan negative pembelajaran secara on line selama Pandemi Covid-19 di Institut Stiami, Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mewawancarai 5 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan WhatsApp. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan dampak positif dan dampak negative. Dampak positif antara lain: mahasiswa tidak terburu-buru menuju ke tempat perkuliahan setelah pulang kerja, merasa lebih nyaman, lebih paham, lebih mandiri, lebih aktif, lebih santai, lebih fokus, sedangkan dampak negatifnya antara lain: penyampaian kurang efisien membuat mahasiswa makin sulit memahami perkuliahan, boros pengeluaran untuk membeli paket internet tambahan, dosen terkadang lupa jadwal kuliah dan di jam tersebut sulit dihubungi, kurang serius dalam belajar, dan kurang interaksi antara dosen dan mahasiswa. Walaupun ada dampak negative tetapi mahasiswa tetap merasakan bahwa perkuliahan bisa berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Kelas bilingual dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa Pengantar untuk beberapa mata pelajaran harus dilakukan di SD Islam Al Azhar 17 Bintaro. Oleh karena itu, penting diadakan Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Percakapan untuk para guru. Program ini menjadi tantangan bagi seluruh guru di SD Al Azhar 17 Bintaro untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mengajar dengan menggunakan dua bahasa dan meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk komunikasi sehari-hari dengan murid. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk mempersiapkan pelaksanaan kelas bilingual. Pelatihan dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan jumlah pertemuan sebanyak 10 kali dan setiap pertemuan dilakukan selama 4 jam yaitu dari jam 08.00 sampai dengan jam 12.00 dan istirahat 30 menit. Program Pelatihan Guru Bahasa Inggris meliputi: percakapan dasar, permainan dan icebreaking, diskusi kelompok, role-play, berbagi pengalaman, microteaching dan presentasi. Peserta sangat antusias dalam melakukan semua kegiatan. Umpan balik dari peserta Pelatihan sangat baik. Di akhir pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan kompetensi seluruh peserta dalam menggunakan ungkapan-ungkapan bahasa Inggris untuk tujuan pengajaran. Mereka tampak lebih percaya diri dalam bercakap-cakap menggunakan Bahasa Inggris, dan bisa berkomunikasi lebih lancar dengan guru lain menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Pihak sekolah berharap agar program pelatihan ini bisa terus berjalan, dan semua guru bisa selalu berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan ini.

Abstract

The English language skills of students at State Vocational School 44 Jakarta are very diverse; some are very good, some are pretty good, some are passable, and many are still lacking, so improving English in the school environment is necessary. One indicator that more students are less able to use English to communicate is seen from the TOEIC Prediction Test Score, which has only reached 26.5% for students who got a TOEIC score above 405. Apart from improving competency, this training also aims to determine predicted TOEIC scores and increase English communication skills for SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta students. This activity is carried out as training before taking the TOEIC Prediction Test, which is conducted for 6 hours (3 hours per day). Introductory training about TOEIC and how to do TOEIC questions, which total 200 questions, is an effort to get a TOEIC score above 400. Implementing this activity is carried out by providing training in the form of delivering Listening Comprehension and Reading Comprehension material, discussions, and TOEIC test simulations, including listening and reading skills. Two hundred students of SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta attended this activity. The activity results showed increased knowledge about TOEIC, how to answer TOEIC questions, and student competence in the TOEIC test. It can be seen from the questionnaire distributed after attending the training. The questionnaire results showed an increase in students' knowledge of the TOEIC test with a percentage of 90% and an increase in students' English competence to communicate using English. However, it still needs to be better regarding value or score improvement. The highest TOEIC score from test participants was 890, and the lowest TOEIC score was 60. Of the total 200 students, 53 students got a score above 405 or still only 26.5%, so to get better results, it is recommended that the training time be increased to 10 -12 hours.

Abstract

The development of technology and information today requires teachers to be able to take advantage of computer technology. Students are expected to be able to obtain information from various sources, including from teachers, so teachers are required to always be able to give their best so that students are able to absorb knowledge well. The knowledge that students gain in learning includes knowledge. The use of learning media using power points has still not been maximized by all teachers at SMKN 26 Jakarta. Therefore, it is necessary to have training in making learning videos from Power Point with the aim of developing teachers' insight in making video learning media through attractive power point animations in an easy way. This training was attended by 80 teachers of SMKN 26 Jakarta with the title How to Make a Simple Learning Video from Power Point. As a result of this training, there was an increase in the competence and ability of teachers in making teaching materials. Their Video Work can be used for teaching and is one of the most contemporary learning media.

Abstract

In managing Housing Environmental Maintenance Contributions (IPL), it is necessary to create an Expenditure Budget Plan (RAB) because it forms the foundation for formulating financial strategies and schedules for housing operational activities. Errors in the Expenditure Budget Plan (RAB) can have a negative impact on the entire process, resulting in financial setbacks and activity delays, therefore it requires accurate calculations and estimator’s skills in complying with current information and standards. Community Service Activitiey (PKM) was carried out at the Jade Park Serpong 2 Housing Complex in January 2024 to February 2024, at this stage the socialization of activities was carried out to the administrators of the Jade Park Serpong 2 Community Association, besides that we also provided accompaniment in the process of preparing and making the Expenditure Budget Plan with Ms.Excel. As well as providing socialization to residents to be orderly in paying their monthly contribution obligations. In the final stage, an evaluation was carried out with discussion after the training had been completed to find out the extent of the participants’ absorption of the material they had received.

Abstract

Leadership transformation in the digital era has become a key element in determining the success of modern organizations. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital leadership on employee performance and engagement. A quantitative approach with descriptive and explanatory survey design was used to collect data from 200 respondents in the technology, banking, and education sectors. The research instrument was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire measuring technological adaptability, support for innovation, policy flexibility, and information transparency as dimensions of digital leadership. The results of the linear regression analysis showed that digital leadership has a significant positive effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.45 (p <0.01) and on employee engagement with a coefficient of 0.38 (p <0.05). The coefficients of determination were 0.52 and 0.46, respectively, indicating that most of the variation in employee performance and engagement can be explained by digital leadership. These findings emphasize the importance of technological adaptability and innovation support in creating a productive and collaborative work environment. The practical implications of this study include digital leadership training, the implementation of flexible work policies, and the increase of information transparency to strengthen the relationship between leaders and employees. In conclusion, effective digital leadership increases productivity and strengthens employee commitment and motivation, making it an important strategy for creating sustainable organizational competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

In the digital era, education is undergoing a profound transformation with the emergence of social media as a powerful learning tool. This study explores the impact of Instagram and TikTok on student learning in Indonesia through a case study approach conducted at three high schools in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung. The research aims to analyze how these social media platforms influence students' learning motivation, academic performance, and character development. Employing a qualitative methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and content analysis of social media materials. The findings reveal that Instagram and TikTok significantly boost learning motivation among 78% of the 90 eleventh-grade students surveyed and improve academic performance by 15-25% in subjects like chemistry and sociology. However, challenges such as distraction from non-educational content (reported by 60% of students) and inadequate digital literacy skills pose significant hurdles. Additionally, while positive content fosters values like respect and responsibility, exposure to inappropriate material risks undermining character development. This study recommends the strategic integration of social media into the curriculum with clear guidelines and teacher guidance, alongside digital literacy training, to maximize benefits and mitigate negative impacts. These insights offer a pathway for educators and policymakers to harness the potential of digital platforms in enhancing education while addressing their inherent challenges.
