Abstract

The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

Abstract

Mosques, as the center of worship for Muslims, play a strategic role in the formation of an empowered society. However, in the context of Jakarta as an urban city, the role of mosques in the economic empowerment of the people is still not optimal. This research aims to explore and analyze the role of mosques in revitalizing da'wah, which includes spiritual aspects and economic empowerment of the people. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study examines several mosques in Jakarta that have implemented various da'wah-based economic empowerment programs, such as mosque cooperatives, entrepreneurship training, and other social programs. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation analysis. The study results show that although some mosques have successfully implemented economic empowerment programs, there are challenges in integrating da'wah aspects with economic empowerment. The main obstacles include limited resources, lack of coordination between institutions, and shifting da'wah focus. This study recommends a revitalization strategy to strengthen the role of mosques in the economic empowerment of the ummah through the synergy between da'wah, education, and community-based economic empowerment. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to optimizing the function of mosques as da'wah centers that are integrated with economic empowerment in urban communities

Abstract

The Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) in hospitals is designed to manage workplace safety and health risks to create a safe, efficient, and productive environment for hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and the surrounding community. Based on data from 2024, Lasinrang Pinrang Regional General Hospital recorded 3 occupational accident (KAK) cases, including 1 needle stick injury and 2 chemical spills, while in 2025, there was still 1 reported case. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the OSH Management System at Lasinrang Pinrang Regional General Hospital in 2025. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of OSHMS at Lasinrang Pinrang Regional General Hospital has not been fully optimized, primarily due to limited human resource capacity and a lack of understanding among staff regarding OSHMS procedures and policies. From a theoretical perspective, this study contributes to the understanding of the critical role of human resources in the effective application of hospital-based OSH management systems. Practically, the findings highlight the need for systematic capacity building, structured supervision, and institutional commitment to continuous OSH improvement. Strategically, it is recommended that the hospital management develop a comprehensive OSH roadmap supported by adequate budget allocation, regular training, and performance evaluation mechanisms. These measures will strengthen the institutionalization of OSH culture, enhance compliance with national safety standards, and ensure sustainable implementation of the OSH Management System within the hospital environment.
