Abstract

Cooperatives are a form of social entrepreneurship. In addition to financial capital and human capital, social capital is an important factor for the sustainability of an organization. This case study aims to analyze the bonding social capital's role in cooperative development based on volunteers in KHJL, South Konawe, Indonesia. A qualitative approach was used in this study with the case study as a strategy for this research. The method of data collection is done by observing, interviewing, and studying documents. Interviews use semi-structured and in-depth. By using purposive sampling, there were eight persons to be interviewed. For the data validity and reliability to be optimal, the authors use triangulation in terms of primary and secondary data collection. Data analysis is done together, from the reduction to the presentation of the data, then there are conclusions and verification to create conclusions. It was found that the role of social capital especially trust plays an important role as bonding between members. For stakeholders, their role is continuously anticipated for the progress and development of cooperatives. Although currently, the cooperative's financial situation is not good, where timber customers have fallen dramatically and social innovation has not well worked yet. Trust in social capital is the main bonding for volunteers at KHJL, that's why KHJL is still surviving until now.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the preferences of studen-workers in the Greater Tangerang area in determining 3 marketplaces (marketplaces), namely: Lazada, Shopee and Tokopedia, which they considered better. This is a descriptive survey study that uses 55 student-workers as respondents in answering the questionnaire submitted by the researcher. Simple percentages were used for data analysis. The research findings show that Tokopedia has the highest average respondent's answer assessment. Abstract

Internships are believed to be an appropriate way to bridge education with the world of work, or link and match. This study focuses on the effectiveness of internships in higher education. This type of qualitative research takes the form of a case study, which aims to obtain an in-depth exploration of events. Informants were determined using a purposive sampling technique based on certain characteristics deemed relevant to the research objectives, resulting in the involvement of five informants and one key informant. Data collection was obtained through interviews and observations supported by other data. Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, followed by data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that three main indicators task relevance, supervision quality, and institutional support comprehensively explain the conditions experienced by informants. Specifically, internship programs have proven effective in strengthening soft skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and self-confidence; enhancing job readiness through experiences facing real-world challenges and organizational culture; and fostering a professional ethos. Thus, this study provides a theoretical contribution by strengthening the framework for internship effectiveness, as well as a practical contribution in the form of recommendations for universities and industry partners to design internship programs that are more structured, relevant, and aligned with students' fields of study and the needs of the workplace.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze gender representation on the covers of annual reports of companies listed in the LQ45 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Annual report covers are understood not merely as visual identities but also as organizational communication media rich in symbolic meaning, reflecting the company's values, culture, and commitment to diversity. The method used is descriptive qualitative with visual content analysis of 45 annual report covers selected through purposive sampling. Human elements are divided into six groups: individual men, men with men, individual women, women with women, women with men, and non-human illustrations, which are then calculated for frequency and analyzed using gender equality and organizational communication theories. The results show that men are more dominantly represented, both individually and in pairs with other men (31%), while not a single cover features women as a single figure. Representations of women appear more frequently alongside men (40%) and only 2.2% within the female group, while 26.6% of covers feature non-human illustrations. Men's positions tend to be depicted as symbols of authority and leadership, while women are positioned as supporting figures. These findings indicate a symbolic invisibility of women in corporate communications, in line with Role Congruity Theory and global research on gender bias. This reflects the persistence of patriarchal structures in Indonesian corporate culture and highlights the gap between diversity policies and symbolic representation. Practically, the absence of balanced gender representation in visual communications has the potential to undermine a company's legitimacy in the eyes of global stakeholders and diminish its contribution to the principles of equality and sustainability.

Abstract

Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) has now become one of the most practical products dominating the market, offering a variety of advantages and benefits. The fierce competition among PDW producers drives consumers to be increasingly discerning and selective in making purchasing decisions. Consumer choices are often influenced by pressing needs, which have recently shifted toward a preference for more natural food and beverage products. However, amidst the fast-paced modern lifestyle, instant products remain a favored solution due to the convenience they offer. By leveraging store atmosphere strategies, this business has successfully stayed competitive and maintained its presence in the market. The relationship between store atmosphere and consumer purchase interest is significant, as first impressions often serve as a critical factor in consumer evaluations of a store. Elements such as exterior design, overall interior, store layout, and interior displays play a vital role in creating that appeal. This study aims to analyze the extent to which store atmosphere influences purchase interest in the Club brand bottled water. The research methodology involves distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents as the primary data source.
