Abstract

Islamic banking market share is the biggest contributor to the development of the Islamic financial market share. This study aims to comprehensively examine the sharia banking market share growth in short-term and long-term dynamic interactions. The independent variables used in this study are inflation, industrial production index (IPI), interest rate, Return of Assets (ROA) and financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). The method used is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL) with monthly data from 2011-2018. The results of this study indicate that interest rates have a significant negative effect on Islamic banking market share in the short and long term. Meanwhile, inflation, ROA, FDR have a positive effect on the sharia banking market share in the short term. IPI's industrial production index as a proxy for the domestic product (gross domestic product) has no short-term and long-term impact. The results of this study have important implications for the central bank and the banking sector.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the variables that influence Islamic banking markets in Indonesia. The research data were obtained directly from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the financial services authority(OJK) from 2011-2018 which were taken on a quarterly basis. This study uses multiple regression analysis to analyze the factors that have an impact on the market share of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The variable that can affect Islamic banking marketshare in Indonesia is the liquidity ratio (FDR). While other variables such as the default rate (NPF), profit rate (ROA), economic growth (GDP) and conventional bank interest rates (INT) do not affect Islamic banking. The results suggest that Islamic banking regulates liquidity ratios (FDR) so that Islamic banking can effectively increase its market. This study complements previous research so that Islamic banking maintains a liquidity ratio in order to remain balanced. Keywords: marketshare, Islamic banking, FDR, GDP, ROA

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The sheep farming subsector plays a strategic role in supporting national food security but continues to face challenges related to productivity, animal health, and waste management. This article documents a community engagement program based on the pentahelix model implemented in Dukuhmencek Village, Jember Municipality, which aims to enhance sheep farmers' capacity through the synergy of academia, community, government, social institutions, and business actors. The program was conducted from June to August 2025 through a series of training and mentoring activities covering forage and silage production, animal health, farm management, the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the utilisation of livestock waste into bio-organic fertiliser. The method employed was a participatory approach involving interactive training, hands-on practice, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The evaluation results indicate significant improvements in knowledge, including silage (58.3%), animal health and farm management (38.3%), SOP development (47.9%), and bio-organic fertiliser (32.9%). Furthermore, farmers successfully practised technical skills such as vitamin injection, deworming, and the production of environmentally friendly organic fertiliser. The program has contributed to strengthening farmers’ professionalism, reducing environmental impacts, and diversifying income sources. These findings highlight that the pentahelix approach is not only relevant for enhancing individual capacity but also effective in strengthening sustainable livestock ecosystems at the village level.  Keywords: Bio-organic; Community empowerment; Food security; Pentahelix; Sheep farming      ABSTRAK  Subsektor peternakan kambing memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional, namun masih menghadapi kendala produktivitas, kesehatan ternak, dan pengelolaan limbah. Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key driver of technological innovation, economic restructuring, and institutional change in Indonesia, yet systematic synthesis of its scholarly development remains limited. This study addresses this gap by applying an integrated bibliometric and systematic literature review (SLR) approach to examine the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and research dynamics of digital transformation scholarship in Indonesia from 2017 to 2025. Using Scopus-indexed publications, centrality-based bibliometric analysis identifies eleven major research clusters shaping the field. Among these, digital transformation emerges as the most structurally influential cluster, exhibiting the highest betweenness, closeness, and PageRank centrality, and functioning as an intellectual hub linking MSMEs, sustainability, circular economy, smart cities, environmental economics, and organizational transformation. Intermediate clusters, including digital economy, economics, MSMEs, and circular economy, reinforce the core discourse, reflecting growing academic attention to Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable development. Smaller clusters, such as fintech, digitization, and developing countries, represent emerging research trajectories focused on governance, resilience, and digital inclusion. The SLR component complements the bibliometric mapping by synthesizing theoretical contributions, methodological trends, and research gaps within key thematic clusters, thereby enhancing conceptual coherence. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative mixed-method design, offering the most comprehensive mapping of Indonesia’s digital transformation literature to date. The findings provide strategic directions for future interdisciplinary research and generate policy-relevant insights to support inclusive and sustainable digital transformation aligned with national and global development agendas.

Abstract

Islamic digital banks operate entirely online, without physical offices, making the service quality of their apps a key factor in shaping customer satisfaction and trust. However, empirical evidence on how digital service quality affects satisfaction and how satisfaction plays a role in building trust remains limited, especially in Indonesia and Malaysia, where the Islamic digital banking industry is still in its early stages. This study aims to evaluate the influence of five dimensions of service quality, as defined by the SERVQUAL model, on customer satisfaction and to examine the role of satisfaction in building trust in Islamic digital banks. This study uses a quantitative approach, based on a survey of 284 users of Islamic digital banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares method. Service quality variables include tangibles, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy, with satisfaction as a mediator and trust as a dependent variable. The results show that only tangibles and assurance significantly affect customer satisfaction in both countries, while empathy and responsiveness show different effects across countries. Furthermore, satisfaction has a positive effect on trust and acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between service quality and trust. It confirms that improving the quality of digital services, particularly the ease of use of applications, assurance of Sharia compliance, and strong relationships and communication with customers, is an essential strategy for building long-term satisfaction and trust. Further research is recommended to include other variables to broaden understanding.
