Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data secara empiris tentang pengaruh pretend play dan jenis kelamin terhadap kemampuan berpikir divergen anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan factorial 2x2, dengan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir divergen anak sedangkan variabel bebasnya pretend play dengan variabel atribut adalah yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) taraf yaitu jenis kelamin yang terdiri dari perempuan dan laki - laki. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak kelas TK B orange dan apple di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kristen Cahaya Bangsa tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 39 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada pretend play dan jenis kelamin terhadap kemampuan berpikir divergen.

Abstract

Minat belajar dan motivasi belajar sangat dibutuhkan untuk tercapainya siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa beragama Buddha di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kecamatan Gambiran Kabupaten Banyuwangi Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa beragama Buddha dari kelas VII-IX di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Gambiran Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Teknik dan instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur masing – masing variabel minat belajar dan motivasi belajar. Kuesioner yang diberikan, sebelumnya dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa beragama Buddha di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Gambiran Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebesar 0,259; besarnya pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa beragama Buddha sebesar 0,311; pengaruh minat belajar dan motivasi belajar secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa beragama Buddha sebesar 41,4%, sedangkan pengaruh sebesar 58,6% disebabkan oleh variabel-variabel lain diluar model ini.

Abstract

Indonesia juga dikenal sebagai negara dimana masyarakatnya menjunjung tinggi nilai dan ajaran agamanya. Sebagai negara yang kaya akan keberagaman Indonesia perlu menggaungkan mengenai kebergamaan dan toleransi kepada seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Toleransi dan keberagaman perlu dibentuk dimulai generasi muda. Wisata Rumah Ibadah salah satu cara untuk mengenalkan dan mengembangkan pengetahuan toleransi dan keberagaman. Rumah Moderasi Beragama Nalanda mengadakan Wisata Rumah Ibadah untuk Siswa Sejabodetabek. Kegiatan ini memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai keberagaman agama yang ada di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah edukasi dimana memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tersebut menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan sebagai pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai keragaman agama dan rumah ibadah. Melalui edukasi yang diberikan bertujuan meminimalisir generasi muda memiliki sikap intoleransi sehingga bukan hanya sekedar menerima perbedaan tetapi saling mengakui, saling terbuka, dan saling mengerti adanya perbedaan dan tidak mempersoalkan perbedaan tersebut meski mereka tidak sepakat.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain accurate data regarding the piano learning process for autistic teenagers at Modern Kawai Music School, focusing on objectives, methods, materials, media and evaluations. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, literature review and documentation. The collected data is analyzed through interview transcripts, data reduction and data presentation. The research findings drom gathered data indicate tha objectives sought are to strengthen the existing abilities, with the hope that students can grow and develop better in terms of motor skills, emotions, concertation, attitude, behavior and self regulation. The methods used in this study include lectures, demonstrations and drills. The materials employed aligh with the general piano curriculum. The evaluation process for piano learning among autistic teenagers at Modern Kawai Music School involves annual examinations and regular assessments during class sessions. Some students have been able to follow the general curriculum due to their improved skills and behaviors. Consequently, it can be concluded that the piano learning program for autistic teenagers at Modern Kawan Music School is effective, as it has successfully achived its objectives.

Abstract

An important component in learning and learning activities is the educator, or teacher. Teachers play a very important role because they function as mentors who deliver and transfer teaching materials in the form of knowledge. The teacher also determines the success of the students related to the teaching and learning process. It is required that teachers improve quality and professionalism. One of its competencies is pedagogic competence, which is the ability of teachers to manage student learning, which includes understanding insights or educational foundations, understanding of students, developing curriculum or a syllabus, learning design, implementing educational and dialogical learning, utilizing learning technology, and evaluating learning outcomes. Not all Nava Dhammasekha teachers have a background in early childhood education. Based on this background, the author was encouraged to do service to the Nava Dhammasekha Karuna school, Teluk Naga Tangerang. This community service activity is intended to provide training and coaching aimed at helping teachers improve their pedagogical competence.

Abstract

Storytelling is a powerful strategy in helping children build their comprehension, language skills, and imagination. Stories bring to life the world of children's imagination and help them understand abstract concepts. Through stories, children can learn about the values, characters, and various experiences that shape their understanding of the world. Storytelling, be expected that it can develop tolerance in Buddhist children aged 4-6 years. Through the stories contained in the Khudaka Nikaya-Jataka, the tenth book containing the story of the past life of the Great Master Buddha. From the story retold by the school teacher or Sunday school teacher, it is hoped that Buddhist children aged 4-6 years can develop with good morals and behavior.The results of research by applying the storytelling method make children able to understand the parables of popular Buddhist stories such as the story of a chatty turtle. The meaning of the story is that we must learn to say words that only bring benefits.

Abstract

The decline in national character, evidenced by various social problems, underscores the urgency of holistic and sustainable character education. The golden age of early childhood is a crucial phase for instilling fundamental values, as children at this age possess unique characteristics and are highly receptive to environmental stimuli. This literature review aims to analyze the role of Metta, a concept of universal loving-kindness from Buddhist teachings, in shaping the character of early childhood. The research method is a qualitative literature study, analyzing and synthesizing information from journal articles, books, and scientific sources related to Metta, child developmental psychology, and spirituality-based interventions. The analysis reveals that Metta is not merely a philosophical concept but a practical framework that can be implemented. The principles of Metta—such as loving-kindness, non-violence, and the wish for others' well-being—have a substantial link to the development of pro-social behavior, empathy, and emotional regulation in children. These findings are supported by studies on mindfulness-based interventions which show significant improvements in the social-emotional competence of preschoolers. This report also identifies Classroom Action Research (PTK) as an ideal methodology for empirically testing the effectiveness of Metta-based learning in the future. The proposed PTK framework is intended to serve as a guide for researchers and practitioners. The conclusion of this study is that Metta holds great potential as a foundation for early childhood character education and deserves consideration as a component of a comprehensive curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the internalization of religious moderation values and the emotional intelligence of students in Buddhist colleges in Indonesia. The values of religious moderation are measured through indicators of national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and acceptance of traditions. Meanwhile, emotional intelligence includes self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to students and analyzed using statistical correlation tests. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between the internalization of religious moderation values and the level of students' emotional intelligence. Students with a high internalization of religious moderation values tend to exhibit better emotional intelligence, particularly in the areas of empathy and self-regulation. These findings highlight the importance of integrating religious moderation values into higher education curricula to support the emotional and character development of students.

Abstract

This research is going to describe the understanding of education for early childhood's teachers regading the authentic assesment, with the special focus in the observation technique of the daily learning practice. The method that is used is descriptive quantitative, which encourage the 50% of the active education for early chilhood teacher's and having the experience in the stay in 1 year. The results show that most teachers have a good understanding of the technical aspects of implementing authentic assessment, especially observation techniques (average score 3.62), but their understanding of the basic concepts of authentic assessment still needs improvement (average score 2.84). These findings enhance the importance of ongoing training that balances technical and conceptual aspects to support optimal implementation of authentic assessment in early childhood learning. This study provides an important contribution as a basis for developing training strategies and improving teacher competence to enhance the overall quality of early childhood education. Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) berfokus pada perkembangan anak sejak lahir hingga usia sekitar delapan tahun. Ini mencakup berbagai jenis program dan kegiatan pendidikan yang dirancang untuk mendorong perkembangan kognitif, emosional, sosial, dan fisik anak-anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin melihat pentingnya efikasi guru dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, yaitu guru berperan penting membantu anak dalam mengembangkan kemampuan dan ketrampilannya. Metode penelitian menggunakan literatur review atau kajian kepustakaan. Literature review yaitu suatu penelusuran dan penelitian kepustakaan dengan cara membaca dan menelaah berbagai jurnal, buku, dan berbagai naskah terbitan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan efikasi diri guru PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) sangat penting karena memiliki dampak yang luas pada perkembangan anak, kualitas pengajaran, dan lingkungan belajar secara keseluruhan.
