Abstract

MTs Muhammadiyah Srumbung is a school with strong Islamic teachings. Character education is delivered through two stages, namely the classroom culture and the culture of the school environment. This article aims to 1) Know the implementation of character education in social studies learning, 2) Know the students' responses to the implementation of character education in social studies learning, 3) Know the inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of character education in social studies learning. The results of the study found that 1) Implementation of character education in social studies learning through classroom culture and school environment. Class culture goes through the planning, learning and evaluation process, while school culture is through habituation and extracurricular activities in schools, 2) The response of students to the implementation of character education is positive, 3) The inhibiting and supporting factors are school (teachers and students), parents and the environment. Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles in the procurement of social studies laboratories in Mts Negeri Demak Regency. This research was conducted at Mts Negeri 4 Demak and Mts Negeri 6 Demak. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive, which describes the procurement of social studies laboratories at the State Mts level. The subjects studied were the Principal and social studies subject teachers at Mts Negeri Demak Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers found that obstacles in the procurement of social studies laboratories in general are contained in several obstacles, namely madrasahs that are still new, priority scale constraints, funding constraints, to space constraints.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan suatu bentuk identitas suatu daerah dengan berbagai budaya maupun adat yang dikembangkan serta dipertahankan eksistensinya. Sehingga eksistensi tersebut menjadikan unsur pembeda dari budaya maupun kearifan local daerah lainnya. Tradisi bulusan merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal yang terdapat di Kabupaten Kudus lebih tepatnya didesa Hadipolo, dalam tradisi bulusan ini mengandung makna maupun filosofi didalamnya. Tidak hanya itu, tradisi bulusan ini memiliki latar belakang cerita sejarah serta memiliki kaitan mengenai religiusitas. Tradisi bulusan ini dilaksanakan pada 7 syawal setelah lebaran Hari Raya Idul Fitri, sehingga antusiasme masyarakat dalam tradisi bulusan ini sangat tinggi hal tersebut disebabkan nilai-nilai tradisi yang terdapat didalam tradisi bulusan ini sangat bervariatif salah satunya nilai pendidikan karakter, sehingga nilai pendidikan karakter sangat dominan mudah terpengaruh dalam sosial kemasyarakatan hingga dapat dijadikan dalam sumber belajar IPS.
