Abstract

This research focuses on the development of the "Stock Street Saga" game, which effectively integrates technical analysis concepts using indicators such as volume, momentum, trend, and oscillator. The game is designed to provide a simulation that allows players, especially beginners, to practice and understand technical analysis without financial risk. The research utilized the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, ensuring a systematic approach from initiation to production and testing. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results from 40 respondents, consisting of novice traders and game developers, showed that the game effectively facilitates learning technical analysis. With an average UAT score of 75.57%, it indicates that the game meets the criteria of being a good educational tool, successfully implementing technical analysis concepts and offering an effective learning experience

Abstract

Background: East Lampung Regency ranks first in Lampung Province and ninth nationally as a sending region for migrant workers (PMI), with 75,311 people. Despite contributing significantly to the migrant workforce, the region faces numerous civil law challenges, including cases of employment termination, passport detention, undocumented workers, and overstays, making it a critical area for addressing migrant worker issues. Methods: This study employed a qualitative approach, analyzing secondary data from government reports, legal records, and migrant worker case studies in East Lampung. Interviews with key stakeholders, such as government officials, legal experts, and migrant worker advocacy groups, were also conducted to understand the root causes and impacts of these civil law cases. Findings: The research found that East Lampung's prominence as a PMI sending region correlates with an increase in civil law cases involving migrant workers. Issues like lack of proper documentation and legal protection are key factors contributing to the high incidence of cases such as termination of employment and passport detention. The study also identified gaps in policy implementation and support systems for migrant workers, both before and after departure. Conclusion: East Lampung Regency's status as a leading PMI sending region is accompanied by significant legal challenges for migrant workers. Strengthening legal frameworks, improving migrant worker documentation, and providing pre-departure training on legal rights are essential for reducing civil law cases and ensuring better protection for workers.  Novelty/Originality of this study: This study is unique in highlighting the specific legal issues faced by migrant workers from East Lampung Regency. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the underlying causes of civil law cases and offers recommendations for policy improvements to enhance the protection and welfare of migrant workers from this region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan pengembangan sebuah Sistem Penjaminan Mutu berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) untuk Jurusan Ilmu Komputer di Universitas Lampung, dengan fokus utama pada pembaruan modul manajemen pengguna dan pengadaan fitur pembuatan laporan. Sistem sebelumnya menghadapi kendala dalam membedakan peran pengguna yang beragam dan tidak mampu menghasilkan laporan yang dapat diunduh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang modul manajemen pengguna yang dapat mengakomodasi berbagai peran hierarkis—mulai dari Admin Universitas hingga Penjaminan Mutu Program Studi—dan mengimplementasikan fungsionalitas untuk menghasilkan laporan PDF sebagai visualisasi Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL) serta Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK). Dengan mengadopsi metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD) dan memanfaatkan kerangka kerja PHP Laravel, sistem yang dihasilkan berhasil mengatasi limitasi yang ada. Hasilnya, sistem kini menawarkan manajemen pengguna multi-peran yang komprehensif serta kemampuan untuk membuat laporan PDF yang dapat disesuaikan. Verifikasi melalui pengujian black-box menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai ekspektasi, yang secara signifikan berkontribusi pada efektivitas dan efisiensi proses penjaminan mutu di lingkungan jurusan dan mendukung potensi adopsi yang lebih luas di tingkat institusi.
