Abstract

Muntigunung Tourism Village is currently designated as a tourist village by the Karangasem Regency Government. The reason of Muntigunung Tourism Village as a new tourism village in Karangasem Regency because Muntigunung Tourism Village has natural beauty that is still natural, a culture that is still traditional and expected to minimize the level of poverty and beggar activities carried out by the Muntigunung Tourism Village community. This research analyzes the development strategy of Muntigunung Tourism Village. The data can be described descriptively qualitatively and analyzed using SWOT analysis techniques. The research of this study indicate that the strategy S-O (strengts-opportunities) that is applied aims to use the power possessed by utilizing the opportunities that exist. The S-T Strategy (Strenghts-Threats) that is applied aims to utilize the strength that is possessed to minimize existing threats. W-O (weakness-opportunities) strategy that aims to minimize weaknesses that are owned by exploiting opportunities. W-T (Weakness-Threats) strategies are implemented to minimize weaknesses to avoid threats. Keywords: SWOT, Development Strategy, Tourism Village

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara tropis sehingga sangat memungkinkan untuk mengembangkan wilayah pertanian yang memiliki penghasilan yang optimal. Bali khususnya kota Denpasar sebagai bagian dari Indonesia, berkembang sangat pesat terutama untuk sektor industri pariwisata, namun produk-produk wisata yang dihasilkan masih monoton. Konsep wisata yang lebih flesibel, yang mengandung pembelajaran sangat diperlukan, dan tersedia di wilayah perkotaan. Menimbang hak tersebut, didesainlah konsep wisata yang terbilang masih baru yaitu wisata berbasis edukasi atau eduwisata. Eduwisata merupakan wisata yang ditujukan untuk memperoleh pendidikan dan pembelajaran serta pengalaman wisata yang berkesan. Kebun Inspirasi Sutama merupakan perkebunan di tengah kota yang fokus digunakan untuk menanam sayur-sayuran. Kebun ini memliki potensi yang sangat baik untuk dapat digunakan sebagai lokasi eduwisata di tengah kota Denpasar. Pelatihan pengelolaan paket eduwisata yang diberikan instruktur dalam pengembangan lokasi eduwisata Kebun Inspirasi Sutama memperoleh 3 jenis paket wisata yaitu Growing a Chubby Tomato, Make Your Own Vegetable Garden dan Pick As Much As You Planted. Pelatihan ini telah membantu lokasi eduwisata Kebun Inspirasi Sutama menjadi lokasi pariwisat yang berkelanjutan, yang dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi, tidak merusak lingkungan, dapat bertanggungjawab secara sosial dan tidak bertentangan dengan budaya setempat.

Abstract

The green tourist village area is a tourist destination which is currently becoming a trend. Green tourist villages offer psychological healing for tourists with natural charm that is natural and free of pollution. In NTB itself there are several green tourism villages that have developed homestays within CBT, one of which is Sesaot Village, Narmada District, West Lombok district, NTB. The research method used is this research uses qualitative research methods. Researchers try to describe the actual conditions or circumstances by collecting data and information in the field and explaining in the form of descriptions without testing hypotheses or making previous predictions. Based on the research conducted, in fact seen from several aspects, communication related to business development planning based on CBT principles is considered not to have been carried out properly, both village- owned enterprises and local community do not understand each other's duties so that every decision in the development effort is taken unilaterally.

Abstract

Globalisasi melahirkan media informasi yang beragam. Imbasnya beragam pula, mulai dari akses informasi secepat kilat, hingga potensi penyebaran paham atau tradisi baru di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Dampak yang beragam ini tak selamanya baik, misalnya penyalahgunaan media itu sendiri, serta degradasi tradisi lokal yang disebabkan adanya referensi gaya hidup yang beragam, yang kemudian mengancam keberadaan tradisi dan produk budaya lokal. Dengan demikian upaya pelestarian budaya perlu dimaksimalkan sejalan dengan gempuran infomasi yang tak terbatas ini. Penelitian ini berisi tentang diskusi serta penyajian gambaran seberapa besar peluang pariwisata dengan konsep eduwisata mampu diandalkan sebagai salah satu media belajar budaya pada pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini diadakan di Kota Kupang sebagai Ibu Kota provinsi NTT yang memiliki beragam tradisi sera produk budaya. Metode deskriptif, berupa observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap pelaku usaha wisata, pendidik dan pemerintah. Diikuti penelusuran literatur dan analisa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari artikel, serta media informasi lainnya yang berkaitan dengan kajian ini. Terdapat beberapa pandangan yang mengaperesiasi gagasan ini, namun perlu ada dukungan dan projek lanjutan mengenai pertimbangan lain tentang potensi penerapan pembelajaran budaya dengan konsep eduwisata.

Abstract

Perkembangan Kepariwisataan yang ada di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang cukup pesat saat ini. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dikembangkannya Labuan Bajo sebagai salah satu Destinasi Wisata Super Prioritas dalam mendukung kepariwisataan Indonesia. Pulau Semau merupakan salah satu pulau kecil yang ada di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur dengan keindahan alam wisata baharinya, namun masih sedikit daya tarik wisata yang teridentikasi keberadaanya . Tujuan dari penelitian ini, penulis ingin mengidentifikasi potensi wisata bahari Pulau Semau sebagai daya tarik wisata alternatif dalam mendukung pengembangan destinasi super prioritas di Provinsi Nusa TENGGARA Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analis triangulasi yang bertujuan untuk mencari kebenaran data informasi yang diperoleh dari berbagai sudut pandang dan ditinjau berdasarkan indikator potensi wisata yaitu 4A. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat 7 atraksi wisata bahari yang sudah berhasil teridentifikasi keberadaanya meskipun masih ada beberapa yang belum teridentikasi. Pada aspek aksesibilitas, fasilitas dan kelembagaan masih sangat minim dan hal ini yang perlu ditingkatkan Kembali demi perkembangan kepariwisataan yang ada di Pulau Semau kedepannya. : Identifikasi, Potensi Wisata, Wisata Bahari, Destinasi Super Prioritas.

Abstract

Kelurahan Oesapa Barat merupakan salah satu desa binaan pengabdian masyarakat Politeknik Negeri Kupang, sehingga pada program Pemberdayaan Wilayah Tahun 2023-2025 di jadikan lokus kegiatan untuk membenahi masalah prioritas yang belum terselesaikan. Yang menjadi urgensi masalah adalah aspek pariwisata, aspek lingkungan, aspek ekonomi, aspek produksi-teknologi, aspek pendidikan dan aspek sosial-budaya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat skema pemberdayaan wilayah selama 3 (tiga) tahun ini adalah : 1). Menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan hasil riset tim pengusul Politeknik Negeri Kupang yang sesuai dengan urgensi kebutuhan masyarakat di wilayah desa/kel binaan Oesapa Barat, 2). Memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang di hadapi mitra dengan pendekatan secara holistic berbasis riset multidisiplin tim pengusul yaitu kepakaran Ilmu Lingkungan, dan Pariwisata, 3). Membantu dan mendukung program pemerintah dalam membangun masyarakat dan masalah kewilayahannya untuk menyukseskan terlaksananya program RPJMD/Des Pemkot Kupang, 4). Meningkatkan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam aspek Pariwisata, Lingkungan, Ekonomi, Produksi, Pendidikan dan Sosial-Budaya, 5). Memperkuat sinergi Perguruan Tinggi dengan Pemkot Kupang, CSR dan lintas Dinas terkait dalam pembangunan kewilayahan Oesapa Barat. Metode pendekatan yang di gunakan adalah : tansfer teknologi, transfer penetahuan serta pemantauan perkembangan mitra. Luaran yang di targetkan adalah : penerapan teknologi tepat guna, peningkatan keterampilan berpikir (soft-skill) mitra, terbentuknya pokdarwis, tercapainya paket wisata edukasi, dan terlatihnya kelompok usaha masyarakat serta pokdarwis melalui pelatihan/workshop.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to examine the Dayak community in Central Kalimantan, aiming to explore the impact of globalization on the traditional values of Betang that reflect their social, legal, and economic structures. The methodology employed an ethnographic approach, utilizing participatory observation and in-depth interviews with customary leaders, youth, and local officials. The findings indicated that the Betang serves not only as a communal house but also embodies a complex social system characterized by values of togetherness, honesty, and egalitarianism. The Dayak community practiced the principles of hapahari (brotherhood) and handep (mutual cooperation) as central to their social interactions and conflict resolution, while also upholding customary laws. Furthermore, the cooperative-based system facilitated equitable resource management. In conclusion, despite influences from modernization, the values associated with Betang remained fundamental to the lives of the Dayak people, showcasing their ability to balance cultural preservation with adaptation to change. The research underscores the importance of preserving traditional values in rapid social change, highlighting that such preservation is essential for maintaining cultural identity, especially in the evolving era of globalization.

Abstract

Traditional Indonesian cuisine, including that of Surabaya, plays an essential role in the cultural identity and heritage of the region. However, rapid globalization and modernization have led to declining interest in traditional foods, particularly among younger generations, who prefer fast food. This study aimed to analyze the role of culinary tourism in preserving and promoting traditional Surabaya cuisine, identify the challenges and strategies for its development to increase its appeal, and examine its contribution to the local economy. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with case studies, involving interviews with culinary entrepreneurs and tourists and observations at key culinary tourism destinations. The findings revealed that, although culinary tourism has the potential to support the preservation of traditional cuisine, the main challenges identified were ineffective promotion, insufficient supporting infrastructure, and a lack of interest among younger generations in continuing traditional culinary businesses. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, business owners, and local communities are needed to enhance promotion, quality, and the overall culinary tourism experience, which can positively impact the local economy through increased tourist visits and regional consumption.

Abstract

Lasiana Beach is one of the tourist attractions that has become a prime destination due to its natural beauty, located in Lasiana Village, Kupang City. The tourism development at Lasiana Beach is supported by various stakeholders involved, such as the government, the local community, and academics who continuously research to promote sustainable tourism at Lasiana Beach. This is evidenced by data from the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office, which indicates that the number of tourist visits to Lasiana Beach has consistently increased each year. The growth of tourism at this attraction presents opportunities for the surrounding coastal community to capitalize on the ongoing tourism development. The challenges faced in the tourism development at the Lasiana Beach attraction include the lack of studies assessing the extent of the social and economic impacts on the coastal community of Lasiana Beach. Despite various efforts made by the local government to enhance tourism in the area, it remains unclear how far-reaching the resulting impacts have been. This research was conducted at Lasiana Beach in Kupang City using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study were analyzed based on indicators of socio-economic impact, such as the increase in community income, public health, population growth, labor absorption, and the development of the economic structure, which is characterized by economic activities arising from projects such as food stalls, restaurants, transportation services, shops, and others.
