Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase the learning motivation of students in following the learning process on PPKn material about the rules in daily life for grade 2 SDN Daleman Kidul 1 in the 2020/2021 academic year through interative PPT media. Motivation to learn is the overall driving force in students that gives rise to learning activities, which ensures the continuity of learning activities, so that the goals desired by learning subjects can be achieved (sardiman, 1986:75 ). The research conducted was a classroom action research with three cycles, in cycle 1 students who were motivated to learn from 15 students reached 66.67 %.  In the second cycle there was an increase of  86.67 %.  As for the third cycle, students who were motivated to learn reached 93.33 %. Improvements in learning using interactive PPT media in each cycle have  increased in motivating students to learn.

Abstract

Bangunan cagar budaya di kota Jakarta memiliki signifikansi yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor antropologis, sosiologis, politik dan sejarah perkembangan dunia sejak terbukanya hubungan dagang Nusantara dengan dunia luar. Namun masyarakat belum mengambil peran aktif melestarikan bangunan Cagar Budaya (CB) maupun bangunan Obyek Diduga Cagar Budaya (ODCB). Terdapat pandangan masyarakat bahwa pelestarian bangunan CB dan ODCB tidak bernilai ekonomis dan sulit pelaksanaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan metode atau strategi mengembangkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bangunan cagar budaya, khususnya gereja Katolik, berangkat dari signifikansi kesejarahan dan arsitektur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur, observasi dan survey empat bangunan gereja Katolik yang menjadi bahan studi kasus untuk merumuskan tiga strategi yaitu strategi skala mikro, meso dan makro untuk mengembangkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap signifikansi bangunan cagar budaya dengan studi kasus empat bangunan gereja katolik yang sudah berstatus cagar budaya. Terdapat dua hasil penelitian yang dicapai. Hasil yang pertama, yang menjadi dasar, adalah mendapatkan unsur-unsur signifikansi kesejarahan, arsitektur dan aspek pemanfaatan. Hasil yang kedua, yang memiliki kaitan erat pada hasil pertama, adalah pengembangan metode atau strategi untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap arti penting pelestarian bangunan cagar budaya. Dengan dilaksanakannya metode pengembangan kesadaran masyarakat berbasis signifikansi cagar budaya subjek penelitian, diharapkan kesadaran masyarakat dapat mengakar secara objektif sehingga menjadi rasionalisasi yang kuat untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam usaha-usaha pelestarian. Edukasi bagi semua pihak adalah cara yang efektif dan efisien untuk membangun kesadaran masyarakat akan melestarikan signifikansi bangunan cagar budaya. Sistem dan muatan edukasi yang bersifat transformatif, dapat disiapkan secara komprehensif melalui pelbagai kajian, dan dikemas sedemikian agar masyarakat dapat mencerna dan memahaminya dengan mudah.Cultural heritage buildings in Jakarta have significance that are influenced by various anthropological, sociological, political, and historical factors of world development since the opening of trade relations between the archipelago and the outside world. However, the community has not actively preserved cultural heritage (CB) buildings or suspected cultural heritage object (ODCB) buildings. Public opinion is that preserving CB and ODCB buildings has no economic value and is difficult to implement. This research aims to develop a method or strategy to develop public awareness of cultural heritage buildings, especially Catholic churches, departing from historical and architectural significance. This study uses an analytical method with a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies, observations, and surveys of four Catholic church buildings, which are the subject of a case study, to formulate three strategies, namely micro, meso, and macro-scale strategies, to develop public awareness of the significance of cultural heritage buildings with a case study of four Catholic church buildings that have cultural heritage status. There are two research results achieved. The first result, the basis, is to obtain elements of historical significance, architecture, and utilization aspects. The second result, closely related to the first result, is the development of methods or strategies to grow and increase public awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage buildings. With the implementation of the process of developing public awareness based on the significance of the cultural heritage of the research subject, it is hoped that public awareness can take root objectively so that it becomes a strong rationalization to participate actively in conservation efforts. Education for all parties is an effective and efficient way to build public awareness and preserve the significance of cultural heritage buildings. The transformative system and educational content can be prepared comprehensively through various studies and packaged so that the public can easily digest and understand them.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar memiliki peran penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan belajar peserta didik di sekolah. Motivasi belajar yang rendah menyebabkan hasil belajar yang rendah pula. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Terdapat 4 tahapan setiap siklusnya yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IX-B SMPN 13 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 34 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner/angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar pada keenam indikator dengan rincian, pada indikator pertama sebesar 63,58% pada siklus I menjadi 83,12% pada siklus II, indikator kedua sebesar 65,46% pada siklus I menjadi 84,46% pada siklus II, indikator ketiga sebesar 71,33% pada siklus I menjadi 86,33% pada siklus II, indikator keempat sebesar 56,67% pada siklus I menjadi 80,24% pada siklus II, indikator kelima sebesar 54,46% pada siklus I menjadi 78,57% pada siklus II dan indikator keenam sebesar 48,80% pada siklus I menjadi 76,82% pada siklus II. Rata-rata persentase motivasi belajar peserta didik siklus I sebesar 60% pada kriteria sedang, sedangkan pada siklus 2 menjadi 82% pada kriteria sangat tinggi. Selain motivasi belajar, hasil belajar peserta didik juga meningkat yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 59,67% pada kriteria sedang menjadi 81,27% yang berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi pada siklus II. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Berprinsip pada pengembangan teknologi diera modern saat ini, maka perlu adanya peremajaanalutsista guna mendukung tugas pokok TNI (Tentara Nasional Indonesia) khususnya pada satuan penugasanmatra darat yang mempunyai tugas pokok dalam pertahanan darat dan penjagaan patok perbatasan antarnegara yang saat ini belum menggunakan kecanggihan teknologi karena daerah yang sangat terbatas dijangkauoleh manusia. Maka dibuatlah alat penentu koordinat menggunakan media HT (Handy Talky) denganmentransmisikan data GPS (Global Positioning System) dengan menggunakan teknologi SMS (ShortMessaging Service) pada jaringan GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) sebagai mediatransmisinya. Dengan sistem GPS akan diperoleh data garis lintang, serta garis bujur dari GPS receiver. Datatersebut akan diproses oleh Microcontroller kemudian untuk dikirim ke ponsel pengamat melalui komunikasiSMS. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa data yang dikirim berbentuk koordinat. Dari data koordinattersebut pengamat dapat memantau posisi personil yang melaksanakan penugasan patroli perbatasanwilayah maupun pengintaian dengan bantuan aplikasi pendukung yaitu Google Maps.

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) aims to examine the improvement of students’ mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the topic of exponents. The study was conducted in class IX-G of SMP Negeri 13 Mataram during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 32 students as research subjects. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through direct observation by the observer during the learning process and through students’ cognitive achievement tests administered at the end of each cycle. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, with the indicator of success being an increase in the average mathematics learning outcomes in each cycle. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ mathematics performance after implementing the PBL model. In the first cycle, the average percentage score of students’ learning outcomes was 56%, which increased to 78% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a positive and effective impact on improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes in class IX of SMP Negeri 13 Mataram.

Abstract

The mathematics learning process at the junior high school level often faces challenges, particularly in conceptual understanding, which affects students’ overall academic achievement. One potential solution to address this issue is the implementation of the Discovery Learning model, which encourages students to independently discover concepts through exploratory learning activities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model in improving conceptual understanding and learning outcomes of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 13 Mataram on the topic of Exponents and Roots. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning activity observations, questionnaires, and mathematics achievement tests. The results showed that the implementation of Discovery Learning successfully enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, as reflected in the increase of the average conceptual understanding score from 60.00 in the pre-cycle (fair category) to 75.50 in cycle I (good category) and 85.75 in cycle II (very good category). Moreover, students’ overall learning outcomes also showed significant improvement, with average scores increasing from 60.25 in the pre-cycle (fair) to 78.00 in cycle I (good) and 88.50 in cycle II (very good). The percentage of students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) also rose from 35% in the pre-cycle to 60% in cycle I, and 85% in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model is effective in significantly improving students’ conceptual understanding and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The quality of architecture is assessed based on the rule of proportion, which is an architectural poem. The reconstruction of the constellation of proportions can be achieved by using the method of combining and matching proportions patterns with architectural drawings of cultural heritage buildings. The method of combining proportional patterns results in geometric patterns that are easier to understand and interpret than other methods such as mathematical scale calculation and statistical methods. The research subject has an attraction in the form of differences in grid patterns between the hallway face datum and the building wall datum, which creates a complex impression on the building face. The difference in datum is suspected to be caused by the use of a progression comparison between the grid pattern of the building wall and the face of the hallway. The process of reconstructing a constellation of proportions with complex datum is thought to start from drawing plans and cuts. This research is the first step for the reconstruction of the overall proportion constellation, which can be continued with further research on the building face and architectural elements. The purpose of the research is to complete the significance of cultural heritage buildings so that the interpretation discourse can be further expanded. The method used is quantitative because it uses geometric instruments and the calculation of the average accuracy of the measurement results. The first step is to provide image data and collect proportional constellation patterns synchronously and diachronically according to the time period in which the research subject was designed. Second, verifying and correcting image data according to the results of field research. Third, combine image data with proportional constellation patterns. Fourth, choose a constellation pattern of a certain proportion because of its suitability with the image data. Then make a follow-up analysis based on the constellation pattern of the selected proportions. The acquisition of the proportional constellation pattern facilitates the interpretation of the reconstruction of the design of a cultural heritage building. This proportional constellation reconstruction method can be used on other research subjects with a condition that must be met, namely the proportional constellation patterns to be tested must have synchronous and diachronic conformity at the time the research subject is designed.
