Abstract

Hostage release operations require a high level of precision, alertness, and skill, which are carried out manually by soldiers of the Indonesian National Army. This medium presents a significant risk to soldiers. This research aims to improve the effectiveness of hostage release operations by integrating wheeled robot technology based on Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) sensors. The research method used is experiment-based in developing and testing a prototype of a mobile robot equipped with LIDAR technology and a web camera capable of mapping the location of hostages in three dimensions. The research showed that this robot has high accuracy, reaching 97.87%, and can createthree-dimensional route maps and display real-time video on a computer. The use of this technology has the potential to reduce risks to soldiers and improve the accuracy of mapping hostage locations, which can ultimately improve the safety and effectiveness of hostage release operations in the context of special operations tasks by soldiers of the Army.

Abstract

Power efficiency is a key factor in military equipment, including field service boots used by personnel in various field situations that often demand durability and reliable electricity availability. This research focused on improving the power efficiency of field service shoes by using capacitor bank regulators and fast charging methods. By designing and implementing this system, this research aims to optimize the use of power sources, extend battery life, and improve personnel comfort in the field. The method used in this research is the fast charge method. The fast charge method enables faster battery charging, which is important in field situations with limited time availability. The findings of this research show that the capacitor bank regulator can keep the DC output stable despite instability in the input. The total power usage in the circuit is 0.20 W, and the power efficiency is about 60.61%. The research shows the potential of this voltage conversion circuit for efficient applications. Although it has not achieved maximum efficiency, the capacitor bank regulator can maintain output stability even in input voltage instability. This circuit can effectively cope with voltage conversion in various applications with further optimization.

Abstract

The Bekang Corps, a vital component of the Army responsible for logistics and transportation, plays a crucial role in maintaining the military's operational readiness and mobility. In the intricate landscape of military operations, the seamless integration of strategy, logistics, and tactics becomes imperative for success. Integrated logistical support, encompassing maintenance, supply, personnel, education, and training, and base facility support, serves as the backbone of effective military operations. However, the manual monitoring of underground fuel tanks at Storage and Supply Points (SPBT) presents challenges in terms of potential errors, time consumption, and significant efforts. The aim of this research is to address these issues by focusing on leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology to design and implement a monitoring application specifically tailored for the SPBT environment within the Army's Bekang Unit. This research method is aimed at providing a real-time solution for efficiently monitoring and managing fuel levels. By integrating the Float Level Switch sensor and NodeMCU ESP 8266 microcontroller, this research establishes a foundation in IoT. The Android application, developed using Android Studio, serves as the user interface, while Firebase functions as the real-time database, facilitating seamless communication and data exchange. The results of this research are the successful implementation of this IoT-based solution, which not only enhances the accuracy and responsiveness of fuel level monitoring but also contributes significantly to military operational efficiency. The anticipated significant contribution of the application includes the enhancement of military operational efficiency, the reduction of human error risks, and an increased sense of responsibility regarding fuel availability for operational needs.

Abstract

Improvements in the efficiency and precision of using the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor infusion fluid volumes have been particularly beneficial to the health sector. It is now feasible to create intelligent solutions that replace labor-intensive and error-prone manual techniques with the aid of affordable devices like the ESP8266 and accurate sensors. Through the use of an internet connection, the server may easily receive data on the volume of infusion fluids collected by the ESP8266-based system and precision sensors. This enables remote access to real-time monitoring using a web platform. The main advantage of this technology is that it allows medical personnel to adequately monitor patients even when they are nearm not them. This reduces patient distraction and gives patients more time to focus on important medical tasks. By using this technology, healthcare personnel can improve the quality of treatment they give by reducing the chance of human error when calculating and changing IV bags. When medical staff has access to dependable and real-time data updates, they can manage IV fluid management more skillfully and respond to changes in patient situations more quickly. All things considered, these advancements represent significant strides forward in the administration of intravenous fluids, offering more accurate, effective, and conveniently accessible solutions that elevate the bar for healthcare overall

Abstract

The employment of security features is crucial to the operation of many modern electronic gadgets in the current 5.0 era as time and technology advance. This means that we must keep coming up with new ideas and producing instruments that will enhance security. Among the many issues that come up is the fact that guns are still registered, checked out, and returned using public books, which leaves space for data tampering or the chance that the books are lost. The primary goal of this research is to create and execute a web-based system that uses fingerprints to monitor the borrowing and return of firearms. Because of its nature online-his, this system will streamline operations and enable users to conveniently view inventory from any location. Researchers employ literature methodology, which includes reading, debating, synthesizing, and developing the concepts employed, in addition to employing laboratory techniques and the necessary tools to accomplish their objectives. The web server on which the security monitoring system for keeping firearms is based has undergone extensive testing and analysis, and the findings indicate that generally, the device can operate as intended. This conclusion is based on traffic analysis and access patterns on the web server. Following the completion of five tests with a 95% accuracy rate. Finally, the security monitoring system for the storage of firearms is based on a web server and has undergone extensive testing and analysis with a 90% speed and accuracy rate; the findings indicate that, on the whole, the instrument can perform as intended
