Abstract

This paper aims to determine the concept of audio media in Arabic learning and its development concept in learning listening skills. Audio media is one of the ideal choices in learning Arabic, especially in teaching listening skills / istima 'because students can focus on the sounds they hear. In addition, this audio medium is cheaper and easier to use. Audio media is also very helpful for the shortage of educators who have small voices in delivering material, who have inappropriate intonations, or are not physically fit during the learning process. The audio media development procedure consists of four stages, namely planning, script writing, media production, and evaluation. This paper is considered important to be studied because it can be used as a material for thought for Arabic language educators in utilizing and developing the use of audio media in learning Arabic istima ', so that learning competence listening / istima' can be prioritized as an initial stage in learning Arabic. Keywords: Audio Technology. Abstract

This paper discusses a tawheed concept of buginese people in the ancient manuscript, Lontara Attorioloang ri Wajo and focuses on the concept of al-uluhiyah and ar-rububiyah of Buginese people according to the manuscript. This work is based on research on manuscript through philology approach since Lontara Attorioloang ri Wajo is a handwriting manuscript written without punctuation (comma or full stop) and space. The concept of tawheed al-uluhiyah of buginese people in Lontara Attorioloang ri Wajo manuscript is shown in the form of testimony of the presence of Dewata Seuwwae or God the one; He begets not, nor was He begotten. The belief of the oneness of god is embodied in self-surrender and full obedience by performing worship qhairu mahda but not ibadah mahdah. This confession can be seen in 18 dialogues between Arung Matoa and an Arung from another place. The concept of tawheed ar-rububiyah in the manuscript is shown in the form of a belief that Dewata Seuwwae or the one God is a lord of the worlds; He determines all creatures’ destiny and prosperity. Further, the Buginese people’s belief in the oneness of God is shown by the agreement they have made, and Arung Matoa Toudamang’s message about how to behave toward god, other person, and nature. There are 8 dialogues in the form of agreement and pappaseng.

Abstract

This research examined the analysis the process of Arabic teaching from the post method era perspective at Islamic boarding schools. The post-method era concept introduces three post-method parameters that guide teachers to develop their own teaching methods and techniques by synthesizing knowledge and teaching experiences without depending on a particular method. This is different from the reality of Arabic teaching in some traditional or modern Islamic boarding schools that still rely on the use of particular method. Therefore, the researchers chose the research place in public Islamic boarding schools that provide formal and non-formal teaching. The importance of this research lies in the fact that the concept of post method has been widely studied and researched in the other foreign languages teaching. While in Arabic education, it is still in limited studies. A qualitative research was used with case study approach in three Islamic boarding schools in Pontianak City. The data were collected by participatory observation in the formal and non-formal Arabic teaching process in grades XI and XII of Aliyah, in-depth interviews with all teachers of Arabic subject, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and pattern-matching techniques. The research found that the Arabic teaching at Islamic boarding schools had applied the three post-method parameters in many instruction activities that can be seen in exploratory, collaborative, interactive, and reflective instruction activities. The result of research was expected to provide an overview and information about several Arabic teaching activities in Islamic boarding schools that are suitable for post method teaching.
