Abstract

Blood donation is an activity to donate blood for transfusion purposes. The number of voluntary blood donors in Indonesia is around 20% of the total production of blood bags per year, the rest is met from replacement donors. People are generally reluctant to donate blood because of fear of pain when blood is drawn using a syringe, fear of running out of blood, resulting in anemia, contracting the disease through blood donors, feeling unwell to donate blood and feeling that it is enough to only donate blood once. This is a factor that causes the limited number of donors due to limited knowledge. Research Objectives: To see an overview of the level of knowledge about blood donors in the community of donors at Pekalongan City. Methods: The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach with a questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge of the donor community. Results: Most of the blood donors at the Pekalongan City are Male 73 respondents (73%), the highest percentage aged 17-30 years as many as 54 respondents (54%), high school education, namely as many as 49 respondents (49%). Most of the donor knowledge level is said to be good, namely 88 respondents (88%). Conclusion: Most of the donor community at the Pekalongan City have a good level of knowledge about blood donation.

Abstract

Ambon banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) is one kind of banana that its peel has activities as antioxidant. It can control glucose level of blood and preventing complications in diabetes mellitus. This research was aiming to evaluate the effect of banana peel water extract in the decreased blood glucose levels and determining the effective dose in increasing the value of KTTI. This research was done by using animal as a model for insulin resistance, that was induced by lipofundin and fructose oraly during 28 days. Animal’s used were 30 male mice swiss Webster. It was divided into six groups, that were negative control, positive control, standard drug group of Metformin 65 mg/Kg bw, banana peel water extract with the dose 100 mg/Kg bw, 200 mg/Kg bw and 400 mg/Kg bw. The parameter was blood glucose level and KTTI by giving insulin 0,0125U/Kg bw intraperioteneally. The result showed that banana peel water extract with the dose 400 mg/Kg bw was the effective dose with the value of KTTI 1,16.

Abstract

Dengan diadakannya pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair pada ibu-ibu PKK di RW Pengoptimalan kegiatan ibu-ibu PKK Di RW 9 dan 17 Desa Cibiru Wetan Kecamatan Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung diharapkanakan dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas masyarakat guna menunjang perekononian keluarga, melalui pelatihan ini masyarakat lebih punya pengetahuan mengenai peluang usaha yang dapat tercipta melalui kreatifitas dan keterampilan dalam proses pembuatan sabun cair. Pelatihan teknologi tepat guna pembuatan sabun cair dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu dengan koordinasi dengan mitra terkait dengan penyusunan jadwal kegiatan, persiapan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Penyuluhan tentang prinsip dasar pembuatan sabun cair lalu dan pelatihan cara pembuatan sabun cair. Hasil pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair ini dikemas dan di gunakan untuk keluarga nya masing-masing, diharapkan dapat dikembangkan menjadi turut memenuhi kebutuhan keluarganya sehingga dengan melakukan sendiri akan menghemat keuangan keluarga dan dapat dijadikan bekal untuk membuka usaha yang pada akhirnya dapat menambah penghasilan keluarga.

Abstract

Advertising is one of the needs in marketing goods or services in an increasingly sophisticated era. Advertising creation can be disseminated in online and offline forms. The choice of words in advertising is one of the things that must be considered because it is related to the function of advertising. This study aims to analyze the form, function, arrangement, and grammatical meaning of the modifative phrase nomina. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with primary data sources, namely advertisements for new student registrations for private universities in Jakarta obtained from several sources. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques in the form of screen captures, intensive listens, and notes. Data analysis techniques carried out by researchers, namely: (1) Looking for 10 advertisements for new student registrations for private universities in Jakarta through several pages. (2) Listen to the content of the advertisements that have been collected. (3) Record modifiable phrases in the form of nouns found in advertisements. (4) Analyze data using theories and categories of syntactic functions by referential methods. (5) Summarizing and presenting the results. The results showed that there are 26 forms of modificative nomina phrases used in advertisements with varying grammatical arrangements and meanings and are inseparable from the function of advertising builders.
