Abstract

Menstrual cycles vary greatly from person to person or individual. One of the most common menstrual problems complained of is dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is pain and cramps in the lower abdomen experienced by women before or during the menstrual cycle. This condition is considered normal if it causes mild symptoms. However, in some cases, dysmenorrhea can cause discomfort to the point of disrupting daily activities. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge of adolescent girls about dysmenorrhea through health promotion. The counseling participants are adolescent girls. The service method is by means of lectures and evaluation is carried out by means of direct questions and answers to participants. It is hoped that with increased knowledge about dysmenorrhea, adolescent girls will be able to overcome dysmenorrhea so that it does not interfere with their activities at school.

Abstract

Background: Immunization is important in health services to protect vulnerable individuals from PD3I. Immunization efforts make a significant contribution to increasing the Human Development Index related to one of its components, such as life expectancy, because it can avoid unwanted deaths, if not addressed immediately it will have an impact on increasing cases of Extraordinary Events and the spread of disease will accelerate. Especially during the the Covid-19 pandemic which caused restrictions on activities which certainly had an impact on participation in immunization visits at Posyandu. Objective: To determine factors that influence the obedience of mothers bringing their toddlers to get basic immunization during the Covid-19 pandemic in Mekarjaya Village, Tangerang Regency. Methodology: Using a cross sectional approach, a sample of 100 mothers who had toddlers. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested valid and reliable, bivariate analysis had been done by the Chi Square test. Results: there is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes, motivation, family support and the role of cadres with mothers' compliance to bring toddlers to get basic immunization during the co-19 pandemic in Mekarjaya Village. Conclusion: Internal factors are the main factor for mother's compliance to bring their toddler to get immunization. It is hoped that mothers who have toddlers can increase their knowledge about the importance of immunization through various media and reliable sources.

Abstract

Background: A healthy pregnancy requires physical and mental preparation from everymother. Healthy pregnancy planning should be done before pregnancy. A well-plannedpregnancy process will have a positive impact on the condition of the fetus and thephysical and psychological adaptation of the mother for the better. Folic acid is anessential nutrient required for DNA replication directed at cell proliferation. Folic acid isactivated by the MTHFR gene through an enzymatic reaction. Folic acid can be found infoods as well as in supplements. The demand for folate increases during pregnancybecause it is necessary for the growth and development of the fetus.. Pregnant womenneed extra folic acid about 0.4 mg per day in normal cases and high-risk (previouslyaffected) pregnancies this dose is recommended for 1-3 months before conception. Objective: The purpose of this service is to anticipate high-risk pregnancies by preparingwomen of reproductive age by providing counseling on healthy pregnancy preparationand giving folic acid tablets. Method: The activity was held on April 18, 2013 at BPM I, Pondok Jaya Sub District,Cipayung District, Depok City. Result: The implementation from the midwife went smoothly and received enthusiasmfrom the activity participants.Conclusion: It is hoped that women of healthy reproductive age can get more knowledgerelated to preparing for a healthy pregnancy so that later they will be ready for theirpregnancy and babies born healthy.
