Abstract

Hypertension poses a serious threat to public health as it can lead to various complications. The family is often the smallest unit in society and has a crucial role in maintaining the health of its members. Therefore, it is important to focus attention on family health management, especially in the context of families who have members suffering from hypertension. The purpose of the study was to apply antihypertensive gymnastics to the families of hypertensive clients with ineffective health management problems. This research used descriptive case study method. Data were collected by using the assessment format and then by giving a questionnaire sheet. The subjects in this case study were two families whose family members suffered from hypertension. Data analysis uses a comparison of results between two families. After the application of anti-hypertensive gymnastics, the data results were obtained, namely in the client 1 family, blood pressure improved and the family's inability to care for sick family members increased and in your family 2, family knowledge about caring increased and blood pressure improved. The results of blood pressure checks on subject I were 140/100 mmHg to 120/90 mmHg, while on subject II were 150/100 mmHg to 130/90 mmHg. This study concluded that families were able to overcome the ineffectiveness of family health management by implementing antihypertensive exercises. This research is expected to be utilized and carried out by the community to prevent and treat hypertension with antihypertensive gymnastics.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex realm of gendered discourse within the social media landscape, with an emphasis on revealing and analyzing language patterns. This research employs content analysis as a research methodology, utilizing Twitter's Application Programming Interface to extract tweets that include the hashtags #womenempowerment, #feminist, #menempowerment, and #malechauvinist for the purpose of this study. The decision to focus on these specific hashtags was deliberate, as they represent the spectrum of gender-related discourse, including emancipation, feminism, men's emancipation, and male chauvinism. The prevalence of these hashtags in online discussions demonstrates the various ways Twitter users interact with and express their views on these critical gender issues. This paper explored the intricacies of language usage, uncovering valuable insights that could be pertinent to discussions surrounding gender representation and equality. The findings provide researchers, practitioners, and society with valuable insights into effectively navigating the constantly changing landscape of gendered discourse on social media.   Abstrak: Dengan penekanan pada analisis pola bahasa, penelitian ini menyelidiki ranah wacana gender yang rumit dalam interaksi online di media sosial. Abstract

This study investigates the complex relationship between power dynamics, gender inequalities, and ideological influence in the field of journalism during the Taliban regime's rule. Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is used in this study to investigate the various constraints faced by female journalists and media workers. This research paper investigates the consequences of limited information access, as well as widespread arrests and intimidation by both government officials and fighters. The study also looks into the Taliban's strict limitations on media activities, such as the division of workspaces, the requirement for women to cover their faces while on screen, and the regulation of analyst involvement in political programming. The intricate power dynamics that underpin their narratives are revealed through this analysis. The de facto government and combatants are portrayed as entities attempting to maintain their authority, whereas the Taliban attempts to impose regressive ideologies to women who work in news media.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a growing public health issue, particularly in tropical regions like Indonesia. This study aims to examine the relationship between attitudes, education levels, and age with dengue fever prevention efforts in Tanjung Baru Village, Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency, South Sumatra. A cross-sectional design with a quantitative correlational approach was employed. The sample consisted of 243 respondents selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant relationship between attitudes and dengue prevention efforts (p = 0.004), education levels and dengue prevention efforts (p = 0.010), and age and dengue prevention efforts (p = 0.000). Respondents with positive attitudes, higher education levels, and younger ages were more active in carrying out prevention measures. These findings suggest that attitudes, education, and age play crucial roles in the success of dengue fever prevention. Therefore, it is recommended that health education programs and prevention campaigns be enhanced, especially for groups with low education levels and older age. Increasing community participation in prevention efforts is expected to reduce the incidence of dengue fever in the future.
