Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat UIN Alauddin Makassar untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan tugas akhir mahasiswa yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan mengembangkan SISTA-KESMAS, sebuah Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir berbasis web yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan pengajuan, monitoring, dan evaluasi tugas akhir mahasiswa. Sistem ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem, semua fungsi utama seperti pengajuan judul, bimbingan online, penjadwalan seminar, dan persetujuan tugas akhir berjalan sesuai dengan harapan. Pengujian keamanan juga menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengatasi kerentanannya hingga 99%. Survei kepuasan pengguna mengungkapkan bahwa 94% responden merasa puas dengan keamanan data, 92% dengan proses pengajuan judul, dan 90% dengan kemudahan navigasi sistem. Dengan demikian, SISTA-KESMAS terbukti memberikan solusi yang efektif dalam pengelolaan tugas akhir, mempermudah koordinasi antar mahasiswa, dosen, dan pihak program studi, serta meningkatkan transparansi dalam seluruh tahapan proses. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk mengintegrasikan sistem ini dengan sistem akademik lainnya dan memberikan pelatihan lebih lanjut kepada pengguna agar dapat memaksimalkan manfaatnya.

Abstract

Academic information services are information services that are very important for the academic community, and greatly affect student satisfaction in their use because the management of information data for academics is something that is absolutely necessary for educational institutions such as universities.The purpose of this research is to create a new academic information service that will be developed using chatbots on the WhatsApp application, especially in the UIN Alauddin Makassar Information Systems Study Program. Academic information services were developed to be able to access information for members of the Information Systems study program such as student status (view student status), payment (view payment status), KRS (view KRS status), schedule (view class schedule), IPS (see history IPS), Ipk (see GPA history. The type of research used is applied research with a quantitative approach. System development uses the waterfall method, then the system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) data. Abstract

Fluktuasi kekeruhan air pada sumber mata air pegunungan di Dusun Bonto dan Tonasa, Desa Songing, Kabupaten Sinjai, yang cenderung meningkat secara signifikan saat musim hujan akibat masuknya material erosi ke dalam aliran, telah menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air baku dan berpotensi mengganggu pemanfaatannya untuk kebutuhan domestik masyarakat. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya sistem monitoring kualitas air yang mampu melakukan deteksi dini dan memberikan notifikasi langsung kepada pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem monitoring kekeruhan air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang terintegrasi dengan Telegram sebagai media pengiriman data dan peringatan secara real-time, sekaligus dilengkapi mekanisme filtrasi otomatis untuk menjaga kualitas air tetap layak digunakan. Perancangan sistem memanfaatkan sensor kekeruhan SEN0189 sebagai akuisisi data, mikrokontroler ESP8266 sebagai unit pemrosesan dan komunikasi, serta integrasi ke Telegram untuk pengiriman data dan notifikasi secara real-time. Metode pengembangan menggunakan model prototype, dengan evaluasi kinerja melalui pengujian black box. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengirimkan data kekeruhan melalui Telegram dengan baik, dengan stabilitas pembacaan sensor mencapai rata-rata 95% yang menunjukkan konsistensi deteksi kekeruhan. Selain itu, pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) menghasilkan skor 73, yang termasuk kategori Good, sehingga sistem dinilai layak diterapkan untuk monitoring kualitas air berbasis IoT di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

The digital transformation in higher education necessitates the enhancement of faculty capacity in leveraging online learning technologies, one of which is the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). This community service initiative aimed to strengthen the competencies of lecturers at STMIK Profesional Makassar in effectively and independently utilizing Moodle LMS. The training was conducted in two sessions using a hands-on approach, covering the management of instructional materials, discussion forums, quizzes, assignments, and learning evaluations. The results indicated significant improvements in mastering Moodle’s structure and core features, lecturers’ readiness to manage an inclusive, flexible, and adaptive digital learning ecosystem, as well as their ability to develop digital learning materials, manage discussion forums, and design system-based evaluations. These enhancements had a direct impact on the quality of interaction and student learning outcomes. Moreover, this initiative supported sustainable digital transformation at the institutional level, reinforcing STMIK Profesional Makassar’s image as a progressive higher education institution responsive to the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Abstract

Infrastruktur Jaringan Nirkabel memiliki satu masalah besar, terutama yang membuka akses untuk umum, seperti hotspot adalah masalah keamanannya, dimana banyak terjadi penyerangan oleh satu atau beberapa orang penyerang (attacker) baik pada server penyedia hotspot atau pengguna. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan suatu taktik atau teknik pengamanan guna menanggulangi masalah tersebut. Subyek penelitian ini adalah penerapan sistem keamanan jaringan nirkabel hotspot. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Studi Pustaka (Library Research) dan observasi yaitu melakukan pengamatan secara lagsung terhadap jaringan hospot di Cafe Atrium. Analisis dilakukan untuk mendapatkan hasil serta data yang bisa dijadikan sebagai acuan guna menerapkan suatu sistem keamanan jaringan hotspot berbasis honeypot dan snort. Sistem hasil implementasi diuji dengan dua metode yaitu Alpha Test dan Beta test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kombinasi antara Honeypot dan IDS dengan Honeyd dan Snort ini memberikan sebuah sistem keamanan berlapis dengan menipu dan mendeteksi serangan yang ditujukan ke jaringan hotspot.

Abstract

Monitoring agricultural land is a crucial element in increasing productivity and food security. Gowa Regency has extensive and scattered rice fields, necessitating an efficient and affordable automated monitoring system. This study designed and evaluated a wireless sensor network (WSN) prototype based on Arduino and XBee modules to monitor land conditions in real time, including temperature, air humidity, and soil moisture. The evaluation included network coverage, connection stability, sensor accuracy, and the system's ability to support environmental data-driven decision-making. The results showed that the prototype was capable of transmitting data in real time with low deviation, demonstrating the potential of WSN as an agricultural monitoring tool in Gowa Regency

including within household environments. However, the presence of areas without signal coverage, or dead zones, remains a serious obstacle in the use of conventional router-based wireless networks. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing a Mesh Wi-Fi network in addressing dead zone issues in residential settings, taking into account room configuration, wall obstructions, and potential interference. The research was conducted using an experimental approach by deploying Wi-Fi 6–based Mesh Wi-Fi devices in a two-story house that previously experienced connectivity issues. Data were collected through measurements of signal strength, download and upload speeds, latency, and network stability across three critical areas of the house. The results show a significant improvement, with an average increase of 26.05 dBm in signal strength and more than a 500 percent increase in download speeds after the implementation of Mesh Wi-Fi compared to a single-router network. In addition,the variation in signal quality across locations decreased, indicating a more even distribution of network coverage. These findings demonstrate that Mesh Wi-Fi is an effective and practical solution for improving network quality in homes with complex building structures, and it is capable of overcoming the limitations of traditional solutions such as signal boosters or additional routers. Therefore, the implementation of Mesh Wi-Fi is recommended as an alternative for providing stable internet connectivity in modern households.
