This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and academic achievement of biology students. The research was conducted at the immanuel health institute from May to August 2024. The research method used is a correlational study. The population of this study is all students. The sample used in this study was 136 students who were taken by Simple Random Sampling. And the data analysis technique Using Rank Spearman Based on the results, it shows that from the results of the study, the frequency distribution based on gender is almost entirely from the respondents (87.5%) female, the frequency based on the study program is almost half of the respondents (39.7%) S1 Nursing and the frequency based on the estimate of almost half of the respondents (40.4%) in 2023, above obtained the distribution of student stress levels almost entirely from the respondents having stress levels light (79.4%), above this, the distribution of student academic achievement was obtained by half of the respondents moderately (50.0%). Based on the results of the study, it is known that under 136 student respondents who have the results of the Sprearman Rank test that has been carried out are corrected if the p-value is 0.118 ≥ 0.05, then Ha is accepted, which shows that there is no relationship between stress levels and student academic achievement at the Immanuel Institute of Health.

Abstract

Social isolation is a condition in which an individual is unable or has difficulty interacting with people around them. Individuals in this condition may feel alienated, rejected, lonely, and struggle to form meaningful relationships with others. Social Skills Training (SST) is an intervention that utilizes behavior modification techniques through role-playing, practice, and feedback. The goal of SST is to improve an individual's ability to deal with social problems, especially in clients with interaction disorders such as social isolation and anxiety. This therapy helps develop important communication and social skills needed in everyday life. This study used a systematic literature review method by analyzing 13 relevant journal articles published between 2020 and 2025. The results showed that SST was effective in improving social interactions in patients with social isolation. This therapy helps patients develop communication skills, reduce psychological symptoms, and improve cognitive function and social behavior. SST functions as an appropriate nursing intervention to help patients solve problems and build better social relationships.

Abstract

Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengukur tingkat ansietas responden menggunakan Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A).

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is often accompanied by impairment in motor skills and sensory processing, which impacts a child's kinesthetic development. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of sensory motor training interventions in improving the kinesthetic skills of autistic children through a meta-analysis of four national journals in 2021-2023. The four journals include direct interventions in the form of physical exercises, creative media such as batik, and educational game tools Maze Dua Sisi (MADASI). At the time of the journal search the keywords "sensorimotor intervention" AND "autism", "motor development" AND "children with ASD". The results of the analysis showed that sensory motor interventions consistently improved children's movement coordination skills, body balance, fine motor, and independence. The effectiveness of the intervention was strongly influenced by the duration of the exercise, parental involvement, and individual approaches according to the characteristics of the child. This study recommends the integration of sensory motor interventions into the education and nursing services of autistic children as a holistic effort to improve their quality of life. These findings also emphasize the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and family involvement in supporting ongoing therapy outcomes.

Abstract

Introduction: A thesis is a graduation requirement for students, which can lead to feelings of anxiety. Approximately 80% of students working on their thesis experience anxiety. The various obstacles encountered during the thesis process create stress, leading to increased anxiety among students. The anxiety experienced by final-year students impacts their level of self-efficacy. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and levels of anxiety among students working on their thesis at Institut Kesehatan Immanuel. Methods: This research employs a quantitative descriptive correlational approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample was selected using probability sampling techniques, involving 120 respondents. The measurement tools used were the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) and the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) Results: The results indicated that 59% of students had high self-efficacy, while 61% experienced moderate anxiety. The correlation between self-efficacy and anxiety levels was analyzed using Spearman's correlation test, with a significance value of 0.000 (p<a) and a correlation coefficient of -0.606, indicating a strong negative relationship. This identifies that lower anxiety is associated with higher self-efficacy. Discussion: This research could serve as input for institutions, especially department heads, to develop self-development programs that can be incorporated into each course, and to provide counseling guidance to reduce the anxiety levels of students working on their theses.
