Abstract

Pertambahan penduduk di kota Jakarta semakin lama semakin bertambah sementara jumlah lahan kosong tidak bertambah sehingga mengakibatkan jumlah lahan kosong semakin terbatas untuk menyediakan hunian. Oleh karen itu dibutuhkan solusi dalam hal penyediaan hunian di lahan yang terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan apartemen dengan pendekatan smart building di Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, menjadi solusi strategis untuk menghadapi tingginya populasi dan keterbatasan lahan di ibu kota. Dengan populasi yang terus meningkat dan lahan yang semakin terbatas, hunian vertikal seperti apartemen menjadi pilihan yang tepat. Smart building mengintegrasikan teknologi canggih untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi, kenyamanan, dan keamanan penghuni. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi smart building pada sebuah apartemen dapat menciptakan hunian vertikal yang modern, efisien, dan ramah lingkungan, mendukung visi Jakarta sebagai kota cerdas serta dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan hunian. Sistem otomatisasi energi, tata letak ruang yang optimal, dan fasilitas penunjang yang memadai menjadi fokus utama dalam perancangan ini. Dengan demikian, konsep smart building pada apartemen di Kelapa Gading dapat memberikan solusi inovatif yang berkelanjutan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hunian di Jakarta Utara.

Abstract

Rekreasi merupakan hal yang sangat diminati oleh berbagai kalangan mulai dari anak-anak, remaja sampai orang dewasa, karena untuk mencari hiburan dari padatnya kegiatan sehari-hari seperti bersekolah dan bekerja. Rekreasi juga dapat menjadi pilihan tempat untuk bersantai, meningkatkan kreativitas dan berkumpul dengan keluarga. Disamping itu keberadaan taman terbuka hijau juga merupakan unsur penting dalam sebuah kota. Taman terbuka hijau yang memiliki berbagai fungsi mulai dari sosial, ekonomi, budaya, ekologi sampai ke estetika. Dengan memperhatikan rencana kota BSD kehadiran fasilitas rekreasi dan taman hijau dengan Pendekatan sustainable architecture di Jl. Damai Foresta, BSD City, Tangerang Selatan mampu mendukung konsep smart City yang diharapkan yang terfokus pada kehadiran bangunan yang tidak merusak alam namun memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan.

Abstract

Residence or housing is one of the basic needs of humans. Each individual has different housing needs based on their social, economic, and cultural aspects. This diversity requires housing design solutions with various design variations that can meet the residents' needs. Vertical housing has become one answer to fulfilling housing needs, but the quality of life in vertical housing is often considered worse compared to conventional housing. Currently, the constructed vertical housing buildings lack high spatial flexibility, as they typically have fixed forms and limited living space that restricts the flexibility for occupants. Commercial vertical housing with the application of modular architecture and prefabrication is one approach that can provide a solution to dynamic living needs quickly and responsively to the environmental typology, while also providing open spaces for residents to enhance their quality of life.

Abstract

Lecturers and students of Architecture Study Program Universitas Kristen Indonesia collaborations with partners Antheia and Fempire continued their Community Service activities entitled Training (Workshop) on Utilizing Fabric Waste to Make Ornaments Decorating Living Rooms and Dining Rooms for Residential Homes by presenting two speakers who are experts in their fields. The method is by preparing tools and materials to be used during the activity, coordinating with Antheia and Fempire partners so that the partners can become contact persons for the participants so that the participants can attend the activities which are planned to take place in two days on Harapan Island, precisely at the Antheia Production House. Label where the participants are housewives on Harapan Island with the hope that women's empowerment in the area can increase, then providing material provision first by the two speakers for further practice based on the material presented to the participants so that the extent of the participants' understanding regarding the material is known. be delivered. As a result, the participants succeeded in completing their products, including tablecloths for the living room, placemats and glasses for dining room ornaments from waste cloth. It is hoped that with this Community Service activity, the volume of fabric waste will slowly decrease, the participants will be able to make living room and dining room interior decoration elements using fabric waste but still look aesthetically pleasing and women's empowerment can be further increased, especially on Harapan Island.

Abstract

Limbah kain merupakan salah satu jenis limbah yang sukar untuk diolah karena tidak mudah terurai sehingga untuk mengurangi jumlah volume limbah kain di Indonesia khususnya di DKI Jakarta diperlukan solusi yaitu dengan memanfaatkan limbah kain tersebut untuk sesuatu yang bermanfaat seperti dekorasi kamar timur dan kamar mandi. Untuk itulah Dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Kristen Indonesia bersama mitra Antheia dan Fempire kembali melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Pulau Harapan dengan judul Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Limbah Kain untuk Dekorasi Kamar Tidur dan Kamar Mandi pada Rumah Tinggal di Pulau Harapan. Metodenya yaitu dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi dengan menyediakan narasumber yang pakar di bidang pemanfaatan limbah kain dan juga melakukan pelatihan agar para peserta dapat langsung melakukan praktik bagaimana cara memanfaatkan kain limbah tersebut dengan mesin jahit sehingga menghasilkan sebuah produk dekorasi kamar tidur dan kamar mandi yang bisa dimanfaatkan secara pribadi maupun dijual untuk meningkatkan ekonomi. Hasilnya para peserta yang hadir memperoleh materi dan memahami apa yang disampaikan oleh narasumber shingga dapat melakukan praktik secara langsung.

Abstract

The Special Capital Region (DKI) of Jakarta is an area that experiences population growth every year, which raises the number of housing-related needs and reduces the amount of available vacant land for housing. In order to get around the lack of land for housing, a plan for flats—like the West Jatinegara Flats—must be implemented. The spaces in an apartment that are designed by an architect are required to produce a design that takes into account the comfort factor of the space for the occupants or users in addition to aesthetics. Residents feel comfortable if they are at a thermal temperature of between 22.8℃-25.8℃ with humidity of 70%. The study, "Evaluation of Space Comfort based on Occupant Satisfaction in West Jatinegara Flats Residential Units," attempts to ascertain whether or not improving strategies are required to raise space comfort based on occupant satisfaction and whether or not an appropriate level of space comfort is achieved. This study employs the quantitative method, which entails gathering primary and secondary data and conducting interviews with at least 10% of the resident population selected at random. This study's results indicate that improvement strategies are required to improve room comfort. These strategies include organizing each room to make it cozier and more compact, considering the type of opening material, the opening area ratio, and the materials used for the glass and frame to prevent breakage and damage to the windows and handles. Every room in the residential unit needs to have optimal air exchange during strong wind conditions.
