Abstract

Activities in carrying out work often make workers feel tired, especially work that requires continuity, skill and concentration. Work activities like this can be quite burdensome for mechanics, which can cause fatigue or injury to workers. On the other hand, a workload that is too light can cause workers to become bored or bored with their work. The aim of this research is to determine the workload in each division area studied, and to estimate the right number of workers for a particular position so that it can be a recommendation for companies regarding workload. The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method is a method for measuring workload by measuring the length of time needed to complete a given task. After carrying out the calculations, the FTE index values are obtained as follows; 1) The press station mechanic is in the 4.39 category (overload), indicating that 2 more employees are needed. 2) General installation mechanics of 0.34 category (underload). This indicates that there is no need for additional employees, but perhaps a reduction in employees to 1 person. 3) Workshop mechanics amounted to 3.63 in the category (overload). This indicates that 2 more mechanics are needed. 4) Mechanical electrical installation is 0.45. This indicates that there is no need for additional mechanics in this area. By calculating the FTE method, it can be seen that there are 2 divisions that fall into the overload workload category, and 2 divisions that fall into the underload workload category. The results of this research are quantitative and from a macro perspective, so it is necessary to also consider socio-cultural factors with employment regulations.

Abstract

PT Socfindo Bangun Bandar merupakan sebuah perusahan yang bergerak pada proses pengolahan kelapa sawit dengan menghasilkan produk CPO dan kernel. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan terdapat pada mesin yang sangat berperan penting dalam pembuatan CPO dan kernel yaitu mesin screw pres, mesin screw press berfungsi sebagai alat pemisahan antara minyak, kernel, dan fiber. Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan kinerja mesin dan tingkat efektifitas mesin screw pres dengan mengukur nilai availability, performance, quality yang terdapat didalam metode Overal Equipment Effectivenes (OEE). Permasalahan utama pada penelitian ini terdapatnya nilai availability 89%, performance 49%, quality 100%, sehingga mendapatkan nilai  OEE rendah 43% atau tingkat efektifitas mesinya tidak bagus yang disebabkan banyaknya waktu downtime yang terjadi pada proses produksi, waktu downtime ini akan berdapak pada target produksi yang tidak tercapai dan buah TBS yang lambat diolah akan membusuk. Penyebab tingkat efektifitas mesin dan nilai OEE 43% tidak tercapai akan dianalisis berdasarkan nilai – nilai OEE yang tidak tercapai standar word class ideal OEE menggunakan tabel dan fisbon diagram sebab akibat terkait faktor mesin, material, manusia, metode dan lingkungan. Usulan perbaikan untuk perusahaan yang diberikan adalah melakukan perawatan terjadwal secara rutin 3-4 kali seminggu dengan teliti serta memberikan pembekalan untuk para operator sebelum proses produksi dimulai.

Abstract

Rendang, a traditional Minangkabau dish from West Sumatra, Indonesia, has gained international recognition and has inspired many entrepreneurs to promote this cuisine globally. One such entrepreneur is CV. Kuliner Makmur Sejahtera (KMS), which produces rendang under the brand Katuju. To enhance operational efficiency and support global market expansion, KMS requires an improved inventory management system. The primary challenge is the difficulty in monitoring inventory and tracking products without a barcode system. This community service program aims to address this issue by implementing barcode technology on Katuju's product packaging. The activities include designing, creating, and printing barcodes, as well as training KMS staff on how to use them. The process starts with observation and interviews to identify needs, followed by barcode design and production using an online barcode generator, and testing the barcode functionality with a scanning system. The results indicate that the community service team successfully trained KMS in barcode creation and printing, and integrated barcodes into product packaging. Evaluation through questionnaires showed participant satisfaction with the program and readiness to apply the barcode system to their products. This program is expected to improve inventory management, data accuracy, and support CV. KMS's global market expansion by providing tools necessary for efficient product tracking and valuable consumer data collection.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide understanding and skills to MSME actors about the importance of packaging and packaging design. This activity is carried out by providing counseling, training, and assistance to business partners regarding product packaging. The result of this activity is that all partners understand the importance of packaging as added value and branding for their products, and as many as 50% have succeeded in designing packaging independently. In the future, it will be better to have knowledge and skills related to digital marketing to reach consumers even further.
