Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of character education at the University of Nias. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study consist of lecturers (3 people) and students (5 people) at the University of Nias. Techniques to collect data through interviewing subjects, namely lecturers and students by providing several questions relevant to our mini research about the character of students. The data analysis technique in this study is qualitative analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that Nias University students have a character that plays a very important role in shaping students who are not only superior in academics, but also emotionally and socially mature. By instilling an attitude of respecting differences, empathy, and having good self-control, students can create an inclusive and productive campus environment. In addition, the application of character values such as integrity, discipline, and responsibility strongly supports students' personal development, so that they are ready to face future challenges

Abstract

 A research has been conducted to analyze the weathering of granite rocks in the Parmonangan area using Lansat 8 satellite imagery which aims to determine the distribution of rocks, weathering processes, and types of rock forming elements in Parmonangan District, North Tapanuli Regency. The method used is using shp geologic map data and Lansat-8 image data processed using Arcgis Map 10.6.1 to determine the distribution of rocks and land cover. XRF is used to identify compounds and rock-forming elements. The results obtained by the rock distribution of the parmonangan area are in the form of the Kluet Formation, Sibolga Complex and Toba Tuff. Land cover in the parmonagan area has differences from 2016 to 2024. Open land in 2024 has increased and the cloud cover obtained has also increased. The rock elements found are Al2O3 (25.31), SiO2 (24.97), K2O (1.56), TiO2 (0.81), Mn2O (30.66), Fe2O3 (4.66), ZrO2, (0.21), Sb2O3 (0.16), and BaO (0.17).

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Stres KerjaDan Beban Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Pasar Swalayan Maju BersamaMedan Mall.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitianini adalah karyawan pada pasar swalayan maju bersama medan mall dengan jumlah40 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 karyawan. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Sumber data terdiri atas dataprimer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakananalisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan software SPSSversi 22. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda yaitu Y= 6,688 + 0,265 + 0,602 + emenunjukkan bahwa stres kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap kinerja karyawan . Hasil uji secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa stres kerjaberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dapat dilihatdari nilai thitung = 3,715 > ttabel = 1,687, serta variabel beban kerja juga berpengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung = 2,723 > ttabel =1,687. Sedangkan secara simultan nilai Fhitung =40,709 > Ftabel 3,25 sehingga dapatdisimpulkan bahwa stres kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap kinerja karyawan. Sementara Koefisien determinasi (R2) pada Adjusted RSquare sebesar 0,625 (62,5%), sedangkan untuk sisanya sebesar 27,5% dipengaruhioleh variabel lain di luar model.

Abstract

Supercapacitors are promising energy storage devices in future energy technology. In this research, the primary and applied aspects of supercapacitors are developed. Various techniques have been developed specifically to estimate specific capacitances. Various attempts have been made in the literature to increase the specific capacitance value of the electrode materials. Electrode materials with unique structural and electrochemical properties, such as high capacity and cyclic stability, exhibit good supercapacitor performance. Many new electrode materials have been developed to play an essential role in capacitance behavior. This research focuses on the highly efficient application of nanostructured electrode materials such as nanoporous carbon and metal oxide CuO for supercapacitors. Nanopore carbon is made from coconut shell, which is synthesized using a simple heating method. Next, carbon nanopore and CuO nanoparticle composites were carried out with composition variations of 0.5,10,15, and 20% of the total weight. The results of cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and charge-discharge tests, maximum results were obtained on a composition of 5% CuO nanoparticles with a capacitance of 280 F/gr and a conductivity of 1.14 X 10-2 S/cm. This result is due to an increase in the surface area between the pore surfaces, so more ions are trapped, causing the filling process to take place quickly.

Abstract

Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) has been chemically synthesized from graphite powder. Graphite powder is oxidized using a strong oxidizing compound to obtain graphite oxide, this process is called the Hummer Method. Graphite oxide is dispersed using an ultrasonic vibrator to peel off the graphite oxide layer and become graphene oxide. The epoxy group in graphite oxide is reduced using 80 wt% hydrazine compound at temperatures of 70????, 80 and 90????C to obtain reduced graphene oxide. Then rGO is characterized using Uv-Vis spectroscopy, and FTIR. The Uv-Vis spectrum shows that the absorbance of rGO decreases with increasing reduction temperature. Then the absorbance data is calculated for its optical constant using the Kramers-Kronig Method. The refractive index values ​​of the real and imaginary parts of the calculation results show that in the low energy region an increase in the optical constant value is obtained with the addition of rGO. Then rGO was used in supercapacitor fabrication using PVA as a binder, 1 M ????2????????4 electrolyte, and aluminum foil as a collector and the supercapacitor mass was obtained as much as 0.01 grams. From the cyclic voltammetry measurement, the capacitor capacitance value was obtained as much as 24.5 F/gr.
