Abstract

This research was aimed to develop a Student Activity Sheet (SAS) based on local potency for biology grade XII which is feasible empirically. Eligibility Worksheet was obtained through validation of subject matter experts to assess the feasibility of the content and presentation of the feasibility of worksheets, design expert to assess the feasibility of the design worksheets to SAS developed. Exploiting local potency in accordance with a curriculum that gives freedom to each school consider the potency of the school and the surrounding area. This can be done by incorporating elements of local potency in learning activities through the creation of learning media in the form of worksheets. Examples of local potencies have been integrated into the SAS are distilled palm wine processing (integrated into cell metabolism, fermentation alcohol), the activity of the material have been incorporated in a biotechnology are activities of coconut extraction to produce edible oil. This research and development using 4-D model of development research which comprises the step of define, design, develop and disseminate, however the disseminate stage of this study was not done. The procedure starts from the development stages: (1) problem analyze; (2) design of SAS; (3) validation and field trials SAS. The instruments used were sheets covering the aspects of feasibility validation of content, presentation feasibility, feasibility of the design and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Data validation and the questionnaire responses of teachers and students were analyzed descriptively qualitative. Feasibility content and feasibility contents presentation SAS based on local potency at biology grade XII has been developed by subject matter experts is very good, in which the feasibility of the content had an average percentage score of 88.10% and feasibility aspects of the presentation of SAS has an average percentage score of 91.35 %. Feasibility design SAS based on local potency at biology grade XII has been developed according to the expert design is very good with a percentage score of 97.00%.

Abstract

The human nervous system is a learning material that includes a lot of abstract material that cannot be directly observed by students. With Augmented Reality (AR) technology, students can learn in person anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of digital learning media in nervous system learning materials and find the right type of learning media to improve student learning outcomes and understanding of the material. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data sources obtained from this study are primary data and secondary data, according to Sugiyono, the primary data comes from the literature journals that have been collected, and the secondary data comes from relevant book and website references. The first step is to collect data from various sources. For the purpose of this study, the data sources used came from 13 recent journals selected based on certain criteria, which had articles relevant to the research topic. Once the journal is collected, a journal summary is created that includes the name, type, title, year of publication, location, objectives, methods, and research results. The results of the descriptive analysis of national journals show that increasing students' interest and learning outcomes is influenced by learning nervous system material with digital media. Augmented Reality (AR) is the most effective learning medium to increase students' interest and learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of animated video-based learning media on human digestive system materials (understanding the impact and disorders of the digestive system) in junior high schools. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. In this study, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used, data collection in this study, using literature studies published in national journal articles that have been registered in electronic databases and indexed on google scholar. The data analysis process is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that through the media of animated videos, students can observe audio-visually the process of the human digestive system in the body more clearly and really. Animated videos have the advantage of attracting attention, providing aesthetic pleasure, supporting systematic learning, making it easier for students to understand, and can explain content that is difficult for students to understand. In this animated video, students can visually see how the shape of the organs in the body that play a role in the digestive process, from converting food into a source of energy to becoming feces that are ready to be excreted

Abstract

The inability of the learning process to reach a conducive level is due to the lack of attractiveness of the learning media used today, which has not been able to arouse students' interest optimally. This happens due to the lack of variety in the use of learning media. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The subject in the study is class VII students, while the object is the implementation of animated videos on the blood circulatory system material. The data collection techniques used include observation. The data analysis of this study was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The result of this research is that the learning media in the form of animated videos that have been made has met the standards of content, design, and use of media in accordance with the set. This success is due to the fit between the material presented in the animated video and the basic skills, indicators, and learning objectives that have been set. In addition, the animations used are adjusted to the characteristics of the students. It is hoped that the compatibility between these indicators and learning objectives can help students understand the learning material better. Therefore, this learning medium is considered effective in supporting the learning process

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of visual learning method strategies for efficiency in the learning process of students in class X. The method used is literature study. This research is a type of research that collects data from literature. Data collection techniques through reference books, journals and websites. The initial step of this research is to first study the results of research regarding the role of visual learning in learning at school. Data collection through books, journals and websites. Data analysis was carried out using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the use of visual media in biology learning with material on the respiratory system in class can help students understand and remember, with contributions from the teacher in explaining further about the respiratory system in learning. Thus, the learning process using visual media can help students learn and become a more effective and interactive learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of audio-visual learning media on Biology learning in junior high school. The method used is literature study by analyzing articles, books, and relevant literature sources. The data sources that will be used in this study are scientific articles, books, journals, research reports, and other literature sources that are relevant and related to the use of audio-visual learning media in biology learning. The data analysis method used in this study is literature analysis or systematic literature review. The results of the study show that the use of audio-visual learning media significantly improves students' understanding in learning Biology. This medium helps students better visualize complex biological concepts, such as fertilization and embryonic development. In addition, audio-visual learning media also increases student involvement in the learning process, making it more interactive. However, there are several challenges in the use of audio-visual learning media, such as limited access to technology in some schools and high multimedia content development costs. Therefore, it is recommended that schools improve their technological infrastructure and train teachers in the effective use of this medium. The implication of this study is that audio-visual learning media can be used effectively to improve students' understanding of complex biology materials

Abstract

The elderly are prone to experiencing body balance disorders that can result in falls. This is influenced by various factors, including the movement system that changes with age. The researcher's goal is to analyze the movement system that affects the balance of the body of the elderly. The researcher used the literature review method by looking for data from scientific journals. The main source of data for this research is obtained through academic search engines, such as google scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results obtained from the movement system that affects the balance of the elderly body includes, the musculoskeletal system where the decrease in muscle strength and mass, joint stiffness, and osteoporosis can interfere with balance, the second is the nervous system, where the decline in the function of the central and peripheral nervous system can interfere with coordination and reflexes needed to maintain balance, and finally the vestibular system located in the inner ear which can interfere with perception Balance. Decreased motor system function in the elderly can affect body balance and increase the risk of falls. Two parties that target the elderly's mobility system, such as physical exercise and rehabilitation therapy, can help improve balance and reduce the risk of falls

Abstract

Biology is one of the subjects that students consider difficult. This difficulty arises because students must memorize the facts, principles, and theories taught by the teacher, without paying attention to the student's need to discover, develop, and apply their own ideas. The use of information technology in learning is an effective solution to overcome low student participation and increase their motivation in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of audio-visual media circulation system and describe the effectiveness of audio-visual media in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach through a descriptive method. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are that the use of audio-visual media in cardiovascular/circulatory materials in the learning of the human circulatory system can increase student activity and learning outcomes. This media can also help convey information more completely and concretely, making it easier for students to understand material that tends to be abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of video media on science learning. This study uses a literature review method that collects relevant journals. Journal references are obtained using the publish or perish application which assists researchers in finding relevant journals. Publish or Perish which allows users to conduct academic analysis quickly and effectively. Google Scholar is used as the data source for Publish or Perish. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the use of video media in junior high school learning can help students understand the concepts of science learning. Video media can visualize abstract ideas to be more concrete and easier for students to understand. Students will be more motivated to learn if there are interesting animations and visualizations

Abstract

This study explores the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in studying the human respiratory system using a qualitative research method of a literature approach. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that combines virtual objects with real environments in real-time, which can be used as a visualization tool in education. This article uses a qualitative method with a library research approach that focuses on the discussion of learning and learning. The data collection technique used in this study is reading books, recording and collecting data from various literature such as journals, documents. The stages of analysis carried out in this study include several stages, including the preparation stage, data collection stage, data reduction, data categorization, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the use of AR in human respiratory system education can improve students' understanding through interactive and realistic 3D visualization. In addition, AR also allows students to study the structure and function of respiratory organs in a more in-depth and engaging way. However, technical constraints, costs, and the need for training for teachers are obstacles that need to be overcome for wider implementation. This study concludes that AR has great potential as an innovative learning tool in the medical field, especially for the respiratory system, if there is adequate support in terms of technology and educational infrastructure
