Abstract

The research is motivated by the existence of such complex diversity in Indonesia. At one time, this diversity could potentially conflict with one another. Therefore, to avoid conflict, every citizen, especially Muslims, needs to be educated from an early age by applying multicultural values through education. One way is to include, internalize and integrate the values of multicultural education in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education subject books. This study aims to find out whether or not there is a content of multicultural education values in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education textbooks for class VIII SMP as well as the advantages and disadvantages in the book from the perspective of multicultural education.This type of research is library research. This research is descriptive-analytic in nature and equipped with complementary data. The method used is documentation, then analyzed using content analysis, reduction and interpretation methods. The results of this study indicate that; first, Islamic Religious Education and Character Education textbooks for class VIII SMP have all the values of multicultural education, namely the values of tolerance, equality, justice, and democracy. Second, the advantages of the book according to the perspective of multicultural education are that it contains values of multicultural education consisting of values of tolerance, equality, justice and democracy. In addition, there are three chapters that cover almost all the values of multicultural education, namely chapters IV, XI and chapter XIII. Meanwhile, the weakness is that there are still many chapters that do not contain the values of multicultural education, and the integration and internalization of Islamic teaching values with multicultural education in the book is still lacking and uneven. Then criticism of the misunderstanding of the meaning of the words and objectives contained in the book.

Abstract

Preparing human resources who are religious and able to balance the pace of science with faith in the modern era is a fundamental problem in today's advanced era. Of course, the important role of education cannot be ignored in this process, because education is the main forum for development. This education can be obtained from studying more deeply and reflecting on the thoughts of classical Islamic figures. Ibn Khaldun is a figure in Islamic thought who is known as a philosopher, sociologist and historian. This writing uses a literature study method which aims to examine Ibn Khaldun's views on Islamic education which were influenced by many problems and realities of his time. The results obtained from this research are that Ibnu Khaldun's thoughts are very real and practical, without losing sight of the aim of developing students' potential. This is useful for providing opportunities for students to develop the potential that God has given them.

Abstract

This study aims to explain policies and transformational leadership in improving the quality of education. The location is in Bima City. The discussion in this paper covers the notion of transformational leadership, the characteristics of transformational leadership, and the implications of transformational leadership and policies in improving the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods (qualitative research). Types of library research (library research). Using documentation study techniques (documentations study). Data collection was carried out through a systematic search of scientific literature on articles, books and documents that discussed significantly and had a connection with the research theme. The results of this study indicate that there is such a large contribution of transformational leadership in the development of better collar education. Through this article, it is hoped that it can provide benefits for readers, especially for the world of education to move towards a better direction, by implementing transformative leadership in its leadership. As a first step towards change in the world of education.
