Abstract

Diesel engine is one type of piston motor fuel, whose fuel combustion occurs due to high air pressure in the combustion chamber. The combustion process diesel engine generates heat energy and raises the high pressure in the cylinder, the pressure is comverted to mechanical energy on the crankshaft. Then the cooling system is needed on the main engine. The cooling system is one system that functions to maintain the engine temperature at a certain temperature in accordance with the design specified so that the diesel engine can operate sustainably. This research work aims to find out how to work the ship’s cooling system, to find out how to maintain the ship’s cooling system, to find out the interference that occurs in the cooling system and to make repairs. The working of the cooling system at KM Sumber Fortuna use a cooling system indirectly / closed by using a heat excanger as a place to heat the heat excanger media by circulating fresh water to the entire machine to remove heat arising from combustion and friction in the engine. The method of maintenance is carried out with the duty service for 4 hours, the service carried ou is to check all the engine components in KM Sumber fortuna. While the damage occurred in the seawater suction pipe which had leaked in the pipe binder and replaced the leaked pipe by cutting the new pipe or hose and clamping the pipe / hose on the suction side of the heat exchanger.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process is a process that involves teachers and students. Interaction must be two-way in transferring knowledge so that teaching materials can be understood and appropriately understood. Teachers must be prepared before giving subject matter and are expected to have exciting teaching materials that can be studied and accessed at any time. Learning multimedia training is needed for high school teachers in South Tangerang. The material provided is about making learning videos with Canva. The material on editing and posting files generated through Canva to Youtube will also be provided. The training activities have been going well. The training participants felt that this activity was helpful and exciting and supported their educator careers. Participants wanted the action to be held longer so that the material could be deepened better. Apart from that, the follow-up service program was also treated with other training materials. The next PkM team is expected to be more prepared to collaborate with teachers to make the class atmosphere and material more interesting for students.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Tarbiyatul Falah adalah MTs yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Bantargebang, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan diskusi dengan para guru, menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya interaksi siswa di kelas, yang berdampak pada menurunnya motivasi belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya interaksi dan motivasi belajar siswa di MTs Tarbiyatul Falah dengan memperkenalkan dan mensosialisasikan penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif, Kahoot, Mentimeter, dan Sketchfab, sebagai media pendukung dalam proses belajar mengajar di  kelas. Metode pelaksanaan berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada 9 guru dengan memperkenalkan fitur dan penggunaan aplikasi Kahoot, Mentimeter, dan Sketchfab yang dapat disesuaikan dengan materi ajar dan mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta penyebaran kuesioner kepuasan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 89 dan post-test sebesar 99. Selain itu, para peserta menyatakan puas terhadap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dan menilai aplikasi yang diperkenalkan sangat relevan untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Dapat diambil kesimpulan, bahwa penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa di kelas. Namun, implementasinya memerlukan perencanaan jadwal yang intensif serta pengawasan dari pihak guru agar tetap selaras dengan kurikulum dan tujuan pembelajaran.
