Abstract

The problem that has developed in connection with HIV / AIDS infection is the high incidence and mortality. HIV / AIDS is a virus that causes disease by destroying the body's defense system so that sufferers do not have the ability to defend themselves from disease attacks. The aim of the study was to determine the HIV / AIDS prevention efforts of FSW at the IMS Clinic at the Gurah Health Center, Kediri Regency in 2019.Quantitative descriptive research design. The total population of all FSW who have not been exposed to HIV / AIDS who visited the STI Clinic at the Gurah Health Center, Kediri Regency in 2019. With a sample size of 39 and the sampling technique used accidental sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire.Efforts to prevent HIV / AIDS among FSW include the use of male condoms where as many as 20 respondents (66.7%) sometimes use condoms, 24 respondents (80%) use condoms either, based on the use of female condoms as many as 21 FSW (70 %) never used, the way to use female condoms was 22 respondents (73.3%) good.It is hoped that health workers will increase the provision of information to the public regarding HIV / AIDS prevention efforts by using condoms so that the HIV / AIDS rate in Kediri Regency can be reduced.

Abstract

Based on medical record data from Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang, children aged 6-12 years who suffered from diarrhoeal diseases in 2019 to 2021 were 28 patients. Diarrhoea in children must be treated immediately because diarrhoea that is too frequent in children can cause disruption of the gastrointestinal system such as malabsorption which can cause children to enter less nutrients into the body and can cause nutritional deficits in children with diarrhoea. Methods: This type of research design uses a descriptive design in the form of a case study. The approach used is a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation. The case study subjects were 2 pediatric patients suffering from diarrhoea, patient 1 aged 6 years and patient 2 aged 7 years who had nutritional deficit nursing problems. This research was conducted at Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang in 2022. Results: Implementation of nutrition management nursing is effective to overcome the problem of nutritional deficits that occur in children with diarrhoea by showing the results of weight gain in children every day during the nursing process. Discussion: It is hoped that the patient's parents can recognise the signs of diarrhoea in children so that nutritional deficiencies do not occur and it is hoped that parents can apply the nutritional management that the author has taught.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus adalah penyakit metabolik, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar gula darah melebihi nilai normal. Buah tokokak (Solanum torvum Swartz) dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas sebagai antidiabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antidiabetes dari fraksi etil asetat buah takokak pada mencit putih Jantan model diabetes. Dosis fraksi etil asetat buah takokak yang digunakan adalah 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kgbb. Sediaan uji diberikan dalam dosis tunggal selama 14 hari. Parameter pengukuran adalah presentase penurunan kadar gula darah dari mencit model diabetes. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat buah takokak dengan dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kgbb berpotensi sebagai antidiabetik. Peningkatan dosis pemberian fraksi etil asetat buah takokak berkorelasi positif yang sangat kuat terhadap peningkatan efek antidiabetes.

Abstract

This research is driven by the need to identify factors influencing consumer purchase decisions, particularly within the fast-food business sector. The increasing intensity of competition in this industry necessitates that businesses provide positive customer experiences and maintain product quality to foster loyalty and attract consumer interest. This study aims to analyze the influence of customer experience and product quality on purchase decisions for Burger Bangor Tanjung Tabalong products. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes a survey method involving 96 respondents as the sample. Data were collected through questionnaires comprising three variables: customer experience, product quality, and purchase decisions. Testing was conducted using multiple regression analysis to determine the influence of the two independent variables on purchase decisions, along with validity and reliability tests to ensure the robustness of the research instruments. The findings indicate that both customer experience and product quality significantly influence purchase decisions for Burger Bangor Tanjung Tabalong products. The implications of this study highlight the importance for companies to focus on enhancing customer experience and maintaining product quality to meet consumer expectations. This research offers practical contributions for fast-food outlet managers to formulate marketing strategies that improve both aspects, ultimately increasing customer loyalty and sales.
