Abstract

One of the health problems faced by women is breast cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide and the second cancer that causes death. Breast cancer is the most common in women, namely 42.1 per 100,000 population. Breast cancer can be detected early by breast self-examination or BSE, but many women forget the method and order of practice. Using posters can provide reminders and ways for women to continue doing BSE. This type of research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The results show differences in knowledge, attitudes and practices each and between groups. Knowledge attitudes and practices have improved overall since the intervention. At the end of the measurement, all groups had good BSE knowledge and attitudes. Behavior with good category before treatment 18% to 39%. In conclusion there are differences in knowledge, attitudes and practices respectively and between groups. Poster media is an effective medium for increasing knowledge and practice. Posted poster media is effective in increasing BSE attitude.

Abstract

Indonesia menghadapi krisis terkait dengan gizi pada beberapa kelompok umur salah satunya status gizi remaja. Masalah yang berhubungan dengan remaja yakni masalah pangan, gizi dan kesehatan. Tekhnologi yang berkembang berbanding lurus dengan perubahan gaya hidup remaja mulai dari pemilihan makanan junk food, aktivitas fisik, dan kurang konsumsi buah dan sayur. Gizi lebih yang tidak terkontrol akan mengakibatkan seseorang menjadi obesitas, diabetes melitus, hipertensi dan gangguan kardiovakuler. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kabupaten Jember pada bulan April 2023. Hasil analitik menunujukkan adanya hubungan antara antara jenis kelamin dengan kejadian gizi lebih (p value 0,002), ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kebiasaan konsumsi junk food dengan kejadian gizi lebih. Sejalan dnegan penelitian Irna dengan konsumsi junkfood dengan kejadian obesitas Hasil analisis diketahui p=0,001. Untuk itu berdasarkan hasil penelitian Sekolah dapat mengadakan program sosialisasidan edukasi mengenai pola makan yang baik kepada siswa dan siswa dapat menerapkan pola hidup yang berih dan sehat.

Abstract

Introduction: Diarrhea is preventable yet in Indonesia, it is still the second leading cause of under five’s death. Dehydration is the main factor in most diarrhea-related fatalities in children. There is a requirement for health education initiatives that prioritize the prevention of diarrhea dehydration through the utilization of mobile health applications. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the usability and acceptance of Dehy Pro Application in preventing diarrhea dehydration among children in Jember. Methods: This study involved 56 respondents consisting of 6 experts and 50 mothers with children under five. Mothers were gathered using purposive sampling. Application development is carried out through several stages, including a literature study, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The usability of Dehy Pro was assessed using the Mobile Application Usability Questionnaire (MAUQ). Results: The three items with the highest mean according to the expert's assessment were "The app was easy to use" (6.85/7), "It was easy for me to learn to use the app" (6.85/7), and "The app would be useful for my health and wellbeing" (6.85/7). Meanwhile, according to the respondent's assessment, there were four items with the highest mean, including "The app was easy to use" (6.94/7), "It was easy for me to learn to use the app" (6.92/7), "I would use this app again" (6.92/7), and "The app helped me manage my health effectively" (6.92/7). Conclusions: Dehy Pro as an application to increase the role of parents in preventing diarrhea dehydration in children has good usability and acceptance although it still needs some improvements.

Abstract

Introduction : The rate of overweight and obesity among Indonesian teenagers continues to increase. Overweight and obesity are often long-term and common problems experienced by teenagers. Excessive weight gain can lead to obesity and the emergence of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), which are one of the causes of death worldwide. Objective : This study aims to. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to examine the Family Based Overweight and Knowledge (F-Book) Overweight Intervention in the Adolescent Group. Method : This research uses the Pre Experiment method Design with One Group Pre-test Post-test Design approach . Results : Based on the research results, because the value of 0.020 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". This means that there is a difference in nutritional status in adolescents before and after being given intervention.
