Introduction: Implementing health protocols became a challenge for older adults living in rural area. This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing implementation of COVID-19 health protocols among elderly in rural areas based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Methods: This study used an explanatory survey with cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 100 older adults who resided in rural areas. Data were collected using the TPB questionnaire and COVID-19 health protocol questionnaire, both have 21 items. The data were analyzed using bivariate and multivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis used Pearson correlation, Chi-square test, and Fisher’s exact test. Multivariate analysis used multiple linear regression with a level of significance = 0.05. The independent variables were attitude toward behavior, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control while the dependent variable was the implementation of COVID-19 health protocols. Results: Gender (p < 0.001), age (p < 0.001), employment status (p < 0.001), attitude toward behavior (p < 0.001), subjective norm (p < 0.001) and perceived behavioral control (p < 0.001) were significantly associated with the implementation of COVID-19 health protocols, while education level (p = 1.000) was not significantly associated with the implementation. The R-square shows 0.610 which indicates that TPB model can predict 61% of implementation of COVID-19 health protocols. Conclusions: The most dominant factor in increasing the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol is attitude toward behavior. Nurse need to provide education to elderly and their family to increase the implementation of COVID-19 health protocols as prevention of transmission of COVID-19.

ABSTRACT Stroke is a clinical syndrome of sudden onset, rapidly progressive, in the form of focal or global neurologic deficits. A stroke occurs because there is a narrowing or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain. Resulting in an increase in intracranial pressure so that the hypothalamus sends a signal to raise the body temperature and compensate for an increase in BP, pulse, glycemic, RR. If you don't get treatment, the patient is unconscious (decreased GCS) and death occurs. This study aims to identify the relationship of vital signs with GCS of stroke patients. The independent variable in this study was vital signs, while the dependent variable was GCS in stroke patients. This study has 124 respondents using a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The design of this study used an analytic type of observation with a cross sectional approach. The most influential vital signs with GCS of stroke patients in the ER are body temperature with a p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05) with a Beta value of 0.489. From this study, it can be explained that there is a relationship between vital signs and GCS. Stroke patients in the ER at Bina Sehat Hospital Jemberwith body temperature as vital signs that are most related to GCS of stroke patients. Keyword: Vital signs, GCS, Stroke

ABSTRACT Background: Prevention of dermatitis is significant for the community, especially for farmers who have a high risk of developing this disease. The symptoms of dermatitis of farmers who work in the fields are affected by a decrease in his personal hygiene level. Personal hygiene is included in the occurrence of dermatitis in farmers who work in the areas. Method: This research is non-experimental quantitative research with an analytic survey design through a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster sampling. Respondents are rice farmers who work directly in the fields, obtained as many as 110 respondents in five regions in East Java. Results: The respondents' criteria are that they have worked for at least one year, are farm laborers (working farmers), and are willing to be respondents. The results of the Chi-Square statistical test show that the value of p = 0.044 indicates a value of p <0.05. These results mean that there is a relationship between personal hygiene and the occurrence of contact dermatitis in farmers. Conclusion: The incidence of this dermatitis can cause a decrease in activity in farmers, so it can affect the mechanism of work patterns in farmers.

Background: Anxiety is a common response experienced by patients when receiving treatment in the hospital, often triggered by unfamiliar environments, interactions with medical personnel, and uncertainty about the results of treatment. This study aims to explore the level of anxiety in patients and the factors that influence it. Methods: This study used a descriptive survey method with a quantitative approach, involving 100 patients who received treatment at Hospital X. Data was collected via the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: The results showed that 60% of patients experienced moderate anxiety, 25% experienced high anxiety, and 15% experienced mild anxiety. The analysis shows a significant positive relationship between length of stay and anxiety level (r = 0.42, p < 0.05) as well as a negative relationship between education level and anxiety (r = -0.35, p < 0.05). Conclusion: The discussion in this study highlights that environmental factors in hospitals and the quality of communication between medical personnel and patients significantly influence patient anxiety levels. These results are consistent with previous research showing the importance of a supportive environment and effective communication in reducing anxiety. Therefore, interventions aimed at improving the hospital environment and communication with patients are highly recommended to reduce anxiety and improve the quality of care.
