Introduction: Adolescence is a key period for mental health, as over half of mental health problems begin during this stage and often persist into adulthood. Many adolescents, however, lack access to specialized care. This research aims to examine the impact of adaptation training on mental health resilience in adolescents, utilizing the Roy Adaptation Model. Method: This quasi-experimental study followed a pre-test-post-test control group design. The sample consisted of 100 adolescents, divided into an experimental group (50 respondents) and a control group (50 respondents), selected using purposive sampling. The experimental group participated in six weeks of adaptation training, with one session held each week. The training aimed to help adolescents better adapt to stressors, fostering mental resilience. The Adolescent Resilience Questionnaire (ARQ) was used to measure resilience, specifically evaluating the capacity to achieve positive outcomes despite facing challenges. The Wilcoxon Paired test was applied to assess differences within each group before and after the intervention, and the Mann-Whitney test was used to compare outcomes between the two groups. Both tests utilized an ordinal scale for analysis. Results: The Mann-Whitney test results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a p-value of 0.000. This indicates that adaptation training had a positive effect on increasing adolescent mental resilience. Conclusion: Adaptation training is effective in improving adolescents' mental resilience. It has the potential to be integrated into school programs to support mental health promotion and prevention, offering a proactive approach to addressing adolescent mental health challenges.

Background: The resilience paradigm is based on contemporary views emerging from the fields of psychiatry, psychology, and sociology on how youth can bounce back and survive stressful conditions, trauma and risks in their lives. The stress experienced by adolescents makes it difficult for them to carry out academic activities at school. The purpose of this research is to develop a stress adaptation model for adolescent mental resilience. The research design used an explanatory survey research design. Methods: The sample size in this study was 250 respondents with a perpusive sampling technique. This research uses stratified random sampling. The test used is Partial Least Square (PLS), which is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique that is able to analyze latent variables, indicator variables and measurement errors directly. Results: The results of this study indicate that the resilience factor consisting of social competence, problem-solving skills, autonomy and a sense of purpose and future has a significant effect on adaptation stress. Adaptation stress has a significant effect on coping mechanisms. Conclusion: The discovery of stress adaptation models for adolescent mental resilience is associated with resilience to help adolescents bounce back from adversity and successfully adapt to the demands of stressful situations. Adolescents who have resilience perceive adversity as a challenge, not as a threat

Bullying at school is still a serious problem for teenagers because it has a big impact on the victim. Bullying causes both physical and psychological problems. The most frequent psychological impact is disruption of self-confidence. The aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between bullying and the level of self-confidence among teenage students at one of the junior high schools in Jember. This research uses a correlational quantitative design with a cross sectional method. The number of samples used was 69 respondents with a total sampling technique. The measuring instruments used for both variables are a bullying questionnaire and a self-confidence questionnaire which have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Spearman - Rank test. The results of the research show a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between bullying and the level of self-confidence in teenagers at SMPN X Jember. Bullying makes a significant contribution to the level of self-confidence in adolescents. Bullying behavior is a factor that can influence a teenager's level of self-confidence. The higher the level of bullying experienced, the lower the level of self-confidence of teenage students. Special attention and handling of bullying cases in schools needs to be increased, both for victims and perpetrators

Background: Bullying is a significant issue affecting adolescents in both schools and islamic boarding schools (pesantren). It has detrimental effects on academic performance, social skills, and mental health for both bullies and victims. The "bully blocking" program takes a culturally relevant approach to equip adolescents with the necessary skills to prevent bullying. Objective: Our goal is to cultivate a group of adolescents to serve as active anti-bullying agents, enabling them to understand and combat bullying within their pesantren community. Method: The program consists of education, skill building training, and evaluations conducted through knowledge questionnaires and observational assessments before and after the program. Results: Participants demonstrated notable improvements in their bullying prevention skills. The percentage of those categorized as "good" increased from 22.2% to 44.4%, while those categorized as "very good" rose from 4.4% to 15.5%. Conclusion: The program achieved a significant enhancement in knowledge and skills for bullying prevention. It is crucial for the pesantren to continue supporting these initiatives through ongoing monitoring and evaluation, thereby fostering a safer environment for all students.

Introduction: Aggressive behavior is a destructive action that arises due to a lack of self-control. Aggressive behavior can result in negative interactions with peers, which has the potential to trigger bullying. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between aggressive behavior and bullying in early adolescents. Methods: This type of research is quantitative with a correlation design using a cross-sectional approach. The population is 163 students with a sample of 115 using the simple random sampling method. The research instruments used were questionnaires on aggressive behavior and bullying behavior. The data analysis in this study uses the Spearmen rank test. Results: The results of the study showed that 52.2% of aggressive behavior was at a moderate level and 40.9% of bullying was also at a moderate level. The results of the Rank Spearman test are known to have a p-value of 0.000 (≤ 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.822, which means that there is a very strong relationship between aggressive behavior and bullying. Conclusions: Adolescents who exhibit aggressive behavior at moderate levels have the potential to engage in bullying behavior in certain situations. Adolescents need to be trained to recognize and manage emotions by providing education, counseling, and psychosocial support from schools through bullying prevention programs. Parents need to monitor adolescent behavior and become role models by implementing parenting that supports open communication so that adolescents can prevent the emergence of negative behaviors.
