Abstract

The pandemic situation and digital acceleration have altered ideas on the significance of competence. Various offline restrictions that occur can be utilized to maximize previously acquired competencies. Individuals are responsible for their competency development and must take the initiative to use it. However, this does not preclude the potential that this may occur in response to commands from superiors. This community service aims to provide education on how to maximize competency and the types of activities that may be conducted via the online platform Zoom. A total of 97 workers or employees from various fields participated in the activity. The effectiveness of the activity can be determined by evaluating the activity's participants. According to the evaluation results, 88.2% of the participants thought there was greater insight regarding relevant competencies. The following recommendation for education providers is to investigate offline implementation if situations permit overcoming the restrictions of resource-participant contact.

Abstract

This study aims to test empirically the effect of the mind maps visual learning method on increasing the self-efficacy of learning mathematics in junior high school students. The research design used a quasi-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were collected using a non-random purposive sampling technique with 22 students who had moderate to low self-efficacy scores. Data collection used the mathematics self-efficacy scale, and data analysis using repeated analysis of variance. The results showed that there was a difference in the average score of learning mathematics self-efficacy between pre-test and post-test. This finding may indicate that the mind maps visual learning method has a positive effect on increasing the self-efficacy of learning mathematics in junior high school students. The increase in the average self-efficacy score in the generalization dimension was 5.8 points, the level dimension was 4.5 points, and the strength dimension was 3.1 points.

Abstract

School is a formal education that is used as a form of developing character values and norms that apply in society. The existence of a school does not rule out the possibility that students also have problems they have, one of which is school refusal. The causes of school refusal include avoiding school-related objects that cause stress, avoiding feelings of discomfort among peers, seeking attention outside of school, and pursuing pleasure outside of school. This study aims to determine the ef ective method in handling school refusal in children and adolescents. This study uses a literature review method with techniques for collecting information and data from various materials in libraries and other sources as a method of research. As many as 14 journals are used as a reference with the literature review method, it can be concluded that the results of this study indicate that there are factors from school refusal including anxiety, forms of protective parenting, dif iculties in following lessons at school, bad experience in school past. Therefore, based on the research results several methods that can be used to reduce school refusal include CBT counseling, REBT counseling, family-based therapy, cognitive restructuring techniques.

Abstract

Domestic violence (domestic violence) is a treatment that causes physical, mental and sexual injuries that occur in married women. This research was conducted to determine the form of social support provided in the surrounding environment. The method used in this study is qualitative phenomenology. In addition, the data collection methods and tools used in this study used semi-structured techniques and used problem mining (probing), namely by interviews. The subjects in this study were 6 female victims of domestic violence. The subject criteria are women who are married and have experienced domestic violence during their marriage. The results obtained from the interview results of the six subjects received 5 forms of social support, the first was emotional support in the form of physical presence, existence, sense of security, empathy, strengthening words and giving advice. The second is instrumental support in the form of materials and business capital. Forms of social support. Implication or recommendation?

Abstract

Prisoners tend to have mental issues that impair their psychological well-being and should find a means to achieve psychological well-being, especially if they are incarcerated. This study aimed to explore the personal experience of prisoners to find their psychological well-being. The participants in this study were inmates with diverse criminal histories. This study was conducted at one of the prisons in Central Java. In this study, the subject was identified utilizing a method of deliberate selection. The six respondents achieve psychological well-being by self-acceptance, exercising independence, improving themselves, keeping good relationships with others, and defining their surroundings, as determined by the findings of their interviews. Using member check and peer debriefing approaches, the validity of the data in this study was assessed. According to interviews conducted with social relations, the informants had difficulty adjusting to the new social environment upon entering prison. According to convicts, there was a need for adjustment to the new social environment in prison. However, according to all interviewers, the secret to socializing well while in prison is to adjust when speaking and communicating regularly.

Abstract

Penilaian terhadap citra tubuh bersifat subjektif dan tidak menunjukkan kondisi yang sebenarnya. Saat ini banyak wanita yang mendambakan tubuh yang proporsional dan mengharuskan dirinya untuk mengikuti standar kecantikan yang terjadi di lingkungan. Ketidakpuasan remaja wanita terhadap bentuk tubuhnya tersebut yang membuat remaja wanita memperburuk citra tubuhnya. Ditambah komentar komentar tentang berat badan dan kurangnya proses evaluasi diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh fat talk dan kesejahteraan subjektif terhadap citra tubuh remaja wanita. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja wanita yang berusia 17-22 tahun dengan jumalh 407 subjek, pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposie sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, cara pengambilan data yakni menggunakan kuesioner. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini yakni: H1: pengaruh antara fat talk dan kesejahteraan subjektif dengan citra tubuh remaja wanita; H2: terdapat hubungan negatif angtara fat talk dengan citra tubuh remaja wanita; H3: terdapat hubungan positif antara kesejahteraan subjektif dengan citra tubuh remaja wanita. Analisis menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini hipotesis 1 diterima, karena terdapat pengaruh dengan hasil sumbangan efektif sebesar 0,420; hipotesis 2 ditolak karena terjadi hubungan positif antgara fat talk dengan citra tubuh dengan hasil signifikan; hipotesis 3 ditolak karena tgerjadi hubungan negatif antara kesejahteraan subjektif dengan citra tubuh dengan hasil signifikan.

Abstract

Masa pandemi telah membawa banyak perubahan dari sisi kehidupan sosial, profesional, dan personal wanita karier yang menarik untuk diteliti dalam sudut pandang psikologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengalaman wanita karier terkait dengan keseimbangan kerja keluarga kurun waktu pandemi Covid-19 antara tahun 2021-2022. Metode kualitatif fenomenologi dan analisis tematik diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam serta kuesioner terbuka. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 pekerja wanita yang mengisi kuesioner terbuka dan ditindaklanjuti dengan wawancara semi terstruktur pada empat partisipan dengan kriteria yang sama. Partisipan berusia antara 18 dan 44 tahun, menikah, memiliki anak yang masih bersekolah, dan bekerja di perusahaan swasta atau publik. Temuan studi ini berfokus pada dinamika yang muncul pada wanita karier. Selama masa pandemi, wanita karier memiliki tiga faktor internal yang terkait dengan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga, yaitu motivasi, emosi, dan konflik internal. Guna meminimalisir hal tersebut, wanita karier membutuhkan faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari hubungan interpersonal yang baik dan dukungan kerja materi maupun non-materi. Implikasi penelitian ini berada pada level keluarga dan organisasi.
