Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami komitmen organisasi karyawan dalam perspektif etika kerja Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei berbentuk self-administered questionnaire. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala komitmen organisasi yang merupakan modifikasi dari alat ukur Mellen Meyer (2004). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 44 orang karyawan yang bekerja di PT X. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif dan analisis faktor menggunakan SPSS Statistics versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi karyawan tergolong tinggi sejumlah 25 orang (57%) dan rendah 19 orang (43%), komitmen afektif terdiri dari 73% tergolong tinggi dan 27% tergolong rendah. Demikian halnya dengan komitmen normatif mayoritas tergolong tinggi (64%) dan selebihnya tergolong rendah (36%). Pada dimensi komitmen kontinuitas, karyawan memiliki persentase yang seimbang baik pada katagori tinggi dan rendah. Dimensi komitmen organisasi yang paling dominan adalah dimensi komitmen normatif (34%), diikuti oleh komitmen afektif (14%), dan komitmen kontinuitas (11%). Implikasi hasil penelitian dalam perspektif etika kerja Islam akan didiskusikan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of “Functional Marketing: Marketing Social Skills 101” training in increasing marketing communication skills in General Insurance Company PT X. Research respondents were selected through purposive sampling technique aimed at 15 employees of the Marketing Department and the HR-Continuous Improvement Department of PT X. The quasi experimental used was the one-group pretest and posttest design. Analysis of the results used a non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test with a significance value of .046 (p < 0.05). The result showed that there was a significant effect on increasing participants' understanding of marketing communication skills which included aspects of communication, active listening, and negotiation skills. In addition, participants also gave a positive evaluation about the entire implementation of the training program which includes aspects of training materials, training facilities, and training facilitators.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the group counseling intervention to manage work stressof PT D's production executives during the application of work from office policies duringpandemic. This study uses a quantitative method with a questionnaire instrument. Thescale used is 14 items measuring the CD-RISC resilience variable and 9 items measuringthe DASS work stress variable. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling.Respondents amounted to 45 people. The data analysis technique used Pearson ProductMoment correlation. The results showed that there was an insignificant relationshipbetween resilience and work stress of PT D production executives. It can be concluded thatresilience is not the main factor in dealing with work stress. Researchers giverecommenation intervention held a group counseling to decrease work stress impact.

Abstract

The pandemic situation and digital acceleration have altered ideas on the significance of competence. Various offline restrictions that occur can be utilized to maximize previously acquired competencies. Individuals are responsible for their competency development and must take the initiative to use it. However, this does not preclude the potential that this may occur in response to commands from superiors. This community service aims to provide education on how to maximize competency and the types of activities that may be conducted via the online platform Zoom. A total of 97 workers or employees from various fields participated in the activity. The effectiveness of the activity can be determined by evaluating the activity's participants. According to the evaluation results, 88.2% of the participants thought there was greater insight regarding relevant competencies. The following recommendation for education providers is to investigate offline implementation if situations permit overcoming the restrictions of resource-participant contact.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap work engagement pada karyawan PT. Eka Timur Raya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan harian dan bulanan PT. Eka Timur Raya yang berjumlah 236 karyawan. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan non random sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 216 karyawan atau 91% dari total populasi yang telah ditentukan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner motivasi kerja sebanyak 14 item, kuesioner kepuasan kerja sebanyak 17 item, dan kuesioner work engagement sebanyak 19 item. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda untuk uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap work engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of psychological empowerment on turnover intention mediated by work engagement in Millennial employees in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design involving 99 Millennial employees in Indonesia. The sampling technique in this study was accidental sampling by distributing questionnaires online. Hayes mediation analysis was used to examine the role of mediation in this study. The results of this study indicate that psychological empowerment affects turnover intention by being mediated by work engagement (F(2,96)= 10.5924, p=0.0001). Furthermore, it is known that there is a positive regression of psychological empowerment to work engagement (β = 0.63, SE= 0.08, p < .001) and a negative regression to turnover intention (β= -0.19, SE= 0.06, p= .0016). It means that increasing the psychological empowerment felt by employees enhances an employee's work engagement, and in turn, reducing the intensity of employees leaving work. The implications of this research in detail will be discussed further.

Abstract

Ketidaksesuaian jurusan terbukti membawa dampak negatif seperti ketidakpuasan akademik, penurunan motivasi, dan kesejahteraan psikologis yang rendah pada siswa. Salah satu cara untuk mencegah adalah melalui asesmen bakat minat. Tujuan kegiatan untuk memetakan bakat dan minat siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMK Muhammadiyah K berjumlah 37 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Intelligence Structure Test (IST) dan Rothwell Miller Interest Blank (RMIB). Hasil psikotes diskor, diinterpretasi, dan direkap dalam format excell yang disertai dengan rekomendasi jurusan serta saran tindak lanjut. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki IQ pada kategori dull normal (rentang IQ 80-90), mayoritas cara berpikir yang dimiliki siswa adalah fleksibel dan seimbang, masing-masing 48%. Siswa yang memiliki ketidaksesuaian antara bakat dan minat hanya 16%, namun ketidaksesuaian antara minat kerja dan jurusan di SMK sebesar 47%. Terdapat 3 jenis rekomendasi yang diberikan dari kegiatan ini, yaitu melanjutkan studi ke jenjang S1; melanjutkan ke jenjang D3/wirausaha; dan bekerja di bawah supervisi untuk siswa dengan IQ kurang dari 80. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat ditindaklanjuti oleh siswa dalam memilih jalur karir setelah lulus, sekolah untuk menetapkan kebijakan dalam seleksi dan penempatan siswa baru, dan guru BK untuk menyusun program konseling dan psikoedukasi.

Abstract

The socialization and implementation of the UU-PLP and SIAP HIMPSI are carried out with the aim of providing information to all HIMPSI members about the new regulations, which govern ethics and relations with and work under the Psychology graduate flag. Previously, HIMPSI members were governed by the 2010 Code of Ethics for Psychologists. However, this has now been replaced by the regulations in the UU-PLP 2022. Therefore, this socialization and implementation is considered important to be carried out, one of which is through a socialization event at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, targeting participants such as HIMPSI members, professionals with a background in psychology, and psychology students from the surrounding Surakarta ex-Karesidenan area.

Abstract

The SRQ-29 is a measurement tool developed by WHO for the early detection of mental health problems. However, no research has focused on the psychometric testing of the SRQ-29 instrument. This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-29) as a screening tool for the early detection of mental health problems in individuals who are university students. The original version of the scale was adapted and translated into Indonesian and tested for validity, reliability, and factor analysis among university students. The adaptation process followed the guidelines of the International Test Commission and included translation, expert review, cognitive interview, and psychometric evaluation. The participants who actively participated in this study were 323 students from various faculties of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), selected using a convenience sampling technique. Data analysis to test content validity using Aiken's V analysis, construct validity using item factor analysis (IFA), and test reliability using Cronbach alpha. In general, the results showed that the measurement instrument has good validity and reliability, so it can be used in the population of university students in Indonesia to screen their mental health status.
