Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the students' understanding level and the occurrence of student's misconceptions about the periodic system of elements subject. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach is a research method used in this study, that is by explaining the data obtained from the result regarding the misconceptions that occur. The technique used in data collection was a test equipped with a choice of the confidence level of answer (TKJ), questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the level of understanding experienced by students was still very low, that is 20.2% of students identified as students who misconception about the subject and 8.5% understood the concept and 71.3% of students who did not understand the concept. The factors that caused the misconceptions were the lack of students' initial concepts and the basic abilities of students.

Abstract

The essential oil content of cloves can be used as a base for aromatherapy soap. The manufacturing process is an example of implementing applied chemistry in everyday life that utilizes local Maluku wisdom. The purpose of this study was to create an aromatherapy soap innovation from clove leaves as a valid android-based booklet media in applied chemistry learning. This research was conducted by making aromatherapy soap from clove leaves and testing the quality of the soap and then making an android-based booklet with materials for making aromatherapy soap to support applied chemistry learning. The android-based booklet media that was created was validated by experts and then analyzed using the content validity coefficient formula according to Gregory. The results showed that aromatherapy soap from clove leaves met the quality standards of hand-washing liquid soap. And the best treatment of aromatherapy soap is at a concentration of 15% with a pH of 6.98, free alkali of 0.02%, and total plate count of 6.00 x 100. The results of the content validity analysis obtained information that the android-based booklet media in applied chemistry learning has met the criteria valid where the overall content validity coefficient is 75%. The resulting android-based booklet media can make it easier for students to learn applied chemistry online and offline

Abstract

The Effect Of Learning Videos On Problem Solving Ability In Chemistry Learning Through Google Classroom At Muhammadiyah Maumere SMAS. The COVID-19 outbreak has caused various negative effects, one of which is in the field of education. Schools in Indonesia implement an online learning system because it is to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This study aims to determine the effect of learning videos on students' problem solving abilities. The sample in this study were 19 students of class XI MIPA. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique, especially the saturated sampling technique. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The results of this study are the results that learning videos have an influence on the problem solving ability of chemistry learning through google classroom at SMAS Muhammadiyah, this is based on the results of the t test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan e-Learning pada materi Hidrolisis Garam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAS Muhammadiyah Nangahure pada semester 2 tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA sebanyak 27 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan e-Learning terbagi menjadi tiga tingkatan yaitu tingkat kemampuan tinggi, tingkat kemampuan sedang, dan tingkat kemampuan rendah. Peserta didik yang dikategorikan dalam tingkat kemampuan tinggi dapat mencapai level menciptakan, peserta didik yang dikategorikan dalam tingkat kemampuan sedang dapat mencapai level menganalisis, dan peserta didik yang dikategorikan dalam tingkat kemampuan rendah hanya dapat mencapai level pemahaman.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh dari model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Talibura Semester 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Jumlah dari banyaknya populasi 50, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini ada dua puluh lima (50) siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Tehnik dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan sampel atau (tehnik sampling jenuh). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode static group comparison design. Rancangan ini melibatkan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control. Setelah data terdistribusi normal, dilanjutkan dengan analisis homogenitas varians. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh Fhitung < Ftabel yaitu sebesar 1,458 < 1,983. Dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan mengitung uji t dan diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu sebesar 7,142 > 2,0163, yang berrati H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Oleh karena itu hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembeljaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap konsep pemahmaan konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga.

Abstract

Moringa is a plant that is easy to grow in the tropics, with a slightly bitter taste that is neutral and non-toxic. This plant is commonly used as a hedge plant and its leaves are used as a vegetable. Apart from Moringa leaves, Moringa seeds are also used as a food ingredient, one of which is tempeh. However, some raw materials can also be used to make tempeh, for example soybeans and jackfruit seeds. Moringa seeds contain many bioactive compounds that are beneficial for health and Moringa seed extract provides a protective effect that reduces liver lipid peroxide and is antihypertensive. With these advantages, Moringa seeds have the potential to be used as raw material for making tempeh

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran terhadap tingkat kreativitas peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 1 yang berjumlah 35 orang dan X IPA 2 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik non probability sampling, khususnya teknik sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Desain Static Group Comparison. Setelah data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t dan didapat thitung>ttabel (19,63>2,01) yang berarti H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran terhadap tingkat kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has resulted in a change in the learning implementation system at IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere, carried out face-to-face. Even so, the EdLink platform's presence in the learning system at IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere can be a solution by providing easy online learning offers for lecturers and students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the strategies for learning achievement effectiveness during the pandemic in the variable calculus course using the EdLink platform. This research uses qualitative descriptive data, with the target of testing is mathematics education students in semester 5 and semester 7 with a total of 29 students. The research scale used is the percentage score of the effectiveness of learning outcomes. The assessment scale uses an item scale with a score of 0-100 to assess students towards lecturers. Whereas the student questionnaire used a Likert scale with a score of 1-4. The results showed that the students enthusiastically joined the variable calculus class using the EdLink application. The results showed that for student learning outcomes and the assessment questionnaire results, EdLink was effectively applied during the Covid-19 pandemic.
