Abstract

Abstract Religious tolerance has always been an interesting topic of study. The relations between religions in various parts of the world make the study has an important position. Many religious leaders try to explain the meaning of tolerance based on the verses of the Koran. The contemporary scholar who gives serious attention to tolerance is Wahbah al-Zuhayli. Methodologically, his interpretation tends to follow the approach of classical Ulema scholars. The problem of tolerance that he explained is based on the current social reality of religious communities. The idea of tolerance offered by al-Zuhayli begins with an explanation of the concept of wasatiyyah al-Islam. Furthermore, the interpretation of al-Zuhayli's tolerance has four main points: First, the union of Islam with the Abrahamic Religion. The existence of several roots of the same teachings in Abrahamic Religion is a way to form a moderate and tolerant attitude. Second, the principle of freedom in choosing a religion. Third, the prohibition of spreading hatred and terror. Fourth, the recommendations prioritizing justice. Al-Zuhayli's interpretation revealed a pattern of harmonious and tolerant relations between religious communities. This is, at the same time, a scientific criticism of the doctrines of violence that are echoed by radical groups. Keywords: Religious tolerance, Wahbah al-Zuhayli, Wasathiyyah al-Islam (Islamic moderations). Abstrak Tema toleransi agama selalu menjadi topik yang menarik untuk dikaji. Pasangsurut hubungan antar umat beragama di berbagai belahan dunia, tak terkecuali di Indonesia, membuat kajian ini memiliki posisi yang penting dalam studi agama. Banyak agamawan, khususnya para ulama tafsir yang bersaha menjelaskan makna toleransi secara normatif berdasarkan ayat-ayat Al-Qurán. Ulama kontemporer yang memberi perhatian serius tentang toleransi adalah Wahbah al-Zuhayli. Meski secara metolodolgis penafsiran al-Zuhayli cenderung mengikuti pendekatan nas ulama klasik. Namun, problem toleransi yang ia jelaskan berdasarkan realitas sosial umat beragama saat ini. Gagasan toleransi yang ditawarkan oleh al-Zuhayli diawali dengan penjelasannya tentang konsep wasatiyyah al-Islam (moderasi Islam). Selanjutnya, al-Zuhayli mengelompokan empat hal pokok tema toleransi yang dijelaskan al-Qur’an. Pertama, relasi antar Agama Samawi. Adanya beberapa akar ajaran yang sama dalam agama samawi merupakan jalan untuk membentuk sikap moderat dan toleran. Kedua, asas kebebasaan dalam memilih agama. Poin ini menegaskan prinsip Ri’ayah al-Din yang diusung syari’at Islam. Ketiga, larangan menebar kebencian. Dan ke-empat Larangan tindakan teror serta anjuran mengutamakan keadilan. Setiap manusia berhak mendapatkan perlindungan atas kemerdekaan jiwanya. Penafsiran al-Zuhayli mengungkap adanya pola hubungan harmonis dan toleran antar umat beragama. Hal ini sekaligus merupakan kritik ilmiah atas doktrin-doktrin kekerasan yang sering dikumandangkan kelompok radikal. Kata Kunci: Toleransi agama, Wahbah al-Zuhayli, Wasathiyyah al-Islam (moderasi Islam).

Abstract

Teaching is the main task of an educator. Creative educators will always create ideas for designing new learning systems that enable students to achieve their learning goals satisfactorily. Learning methods that are interesting and actively involve students tend to be more effective. type cooperative learning requires each student to contribute to their group. Apart from that, group members can support and motivate each other and improve each student's understanding. The research method used is a quantitative quasi-experiment (Quasi Experiment) with a research design. Sampling was carried out using the Purposive Sampling technique. Each sample in the experimental class and control class consisted of 32 students. This research data was obtained from the results of the posttest and pretest which used multiple-choice questions totaling 20 questions. Data collection was carried out using observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include validity testing to determine whether the research instruments used are reliable and hypothesis testing to determine if there is a significant influence on the sample. The average result for the Experiment class was 94.53 while the control class was 52.19. Based on research, the results showed that the use of the learning model in experimental classes was more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to classes that used conventional approaches in PAI and Character subjects in class VII. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the learning model on student learning outcomes in Islamic Education and Character subjects in Class VII at SMPN 1 Sumberrejo

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal the study of living hadith with the theme of the Aqiqah tradition in Sangkal Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. Methodologically, this research category was field research with a qualitative approach. Research data was obtained through two sources: informant data directly and literature. The research results showed that the aqiqah in Sangkal Village had been practiced by the community for generations. Aqiqah was carried out when the baby was 35 days old, “Selapan” in Javanese terms. This event was attended by all members of the community, both small children and adults. Technically, the implementation of aqiqah in Sangkal village was entirely the responsibility of the women. They would guide the preparations to the running of the event, which included reading prayers and a life history of the Prophet Muhammad through the book Maulid Ad-Dibai. The aqiqah ritual practiced by the people of Sangkal village couldn’t be understood in a social and cultural vacuum. The Prophet's instructions in the hadith regarding aqiqah did not include technical instructions, so that the technical area was filled by the Islamic community with local cultural innovations. The aqiqah tradition in Sangkal village was formed with its uniqueness due to the intersection between traditions and culture in the past with current social realities and as a form of interpretation of the recommendations of religious texts (hadith).

Abstract

Aswaja education is one of the subjects included in the madrasa curriculum, especially in Salaf Islamic boarding schools, where in Aswaja learning the values of faith and morals are explained which are very fundamental for students so that they can be applied in everyday life. Meanwhile, the values of ahlussunnah waljama'ah include; tolerance and respect for others is very important to instill in students so that the mindset and attitudes possessed by students can be formed well and away from harsh and easily emotional attitudes. This research analyzes how the Darun Najah Islamic Boarding School instills the values of the ahlussunnah waljamaah faith through ASWAJA learning and other religious activities. This research includes field research by conducting observations and interviews. The results of this research include: 1).Aswaja education has an important role in the development and development of children, especially with regard to instilling religious and social values. This was based on the scholars of the classical period, at that time they placed more emphasis on strengthening Islamic religious teaching which was more focused on moral education, such as tolerance and respect for diversity. 2). Bullying is an act that hurts someone intentionally or with the intention that already exists within the perpetrator which results in being hurt, disturbed and harmed. The background to the existence of the Darun Najah Islamic Boarding School applies Aswaja values due to cases of bullying among Islamic boarding schools. This behavior is caused by 2 factors, namely family factors and individual factors.  From this problem, the Darun Najah Islamic boarding school created a concept to overcome bullying or bullying behavior, including: forming a tolerant character, respecting differences, habituation to manners, friendly habits, and uswah (exemplary) methods.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology requires teachers to innovate and utilize technology to support the learning process, one of which is by utilizing digital pocket books as a learning medium, so that the learning process becomes varied and not boring. In SKI learning, teachers often use the lecture method with learning media in the form of printed books/LKS without other media, which makes students feel bored because of the monotonous learning atmosphere and the lack of innovation in the learning media used. This study aims to determine the development process and feasibility of the SKI digital pocket book learning media. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study is a descriptive statistical data analysis technique using a Likert scale. The results of the study showed that the SKI digital pocket book had very feasible criteria, the design aspect obtained a value of 94.9%, the readability aspect obtained a value of 94.4%, the material aspect obtained a value of 98.8% and the practicality aspect obtained a value of 95.2%. Thus, the SKI digital pocket book learning media for the material of Islamic civilization of the Umayyad Daulah in Damascus for class X MA Al Arqom Sarirejo Bojonegoro has been tested for its validity and practicality and is feasible to be used when learning.
