Abstract

Apart from being a place of collective worship, mosques can also be a potential place of Qur'an education for Muslims. However, this context has not been comprehensively discussed in previous studies. This study not only aims to complement the shortcomings of previous studies but also focuses on the question of the function and potential of the mosque as a place of Qur'an education for Muslims. To answer this question, this study chose to use a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting direct and structured observations and interviews with informants. The findings in this study show two important contexts regarding the function and potential of the mosque as a place of Qur'an education for Muslims. First, the management of mosque space can be a potential place in conducting Qur'an education for Muslims as has been done at the Baiturrahmah Mosque. Second, good management of the Qur'an education program can increase interest and shape Muslims to be more active and participatory as happened at the Baiturrahmah Mosque. From these two important findings, it can be reflected that the mosque, apart from functioning as a space for collective worship, can also be a potential place to conduct effective and efficient Qur'an education.

Abstract

Traditions in religious life sometimes cause problems in society. The role of religious experts is very important in solving this problem. This study aims to analyze the tradition of larung Sesaji and the views of religious figures in Ponorogo regarding this procession. This study is qualitative research in which the data were collected from field research. For analysis, descriptive methods with a phenomenological approach are applied. The research results show that the tradition of larung sesaji in Ngebel Lake, with its various kinds of knick-knacks, is passed down from generation to generation as an accumulation of pre-Islamic customs. This tradition was originally a prayer for safety from the disaster caused by the supernatural ruler of Ngebel Lake. In response to this, the puritan Ulama in Ponorogo stated that larung sesaji is close to shirk (idolatry) and is considered ‘urf fāsid, so there is no need to practice it. While moderate ulama is more flexible, allowing the tradition to continue as usual while giving guidance so that any possibility of violations of the Shari’a can be anticipated; hence, it is considered ‘urf ṣaḥīḥ. However, as a consequence of the Constitutional Court Decision No. 97/PUU-XIV/2016 regarding believers with no belief to not include their religion on KTP (ID Card), people around Ngebel Lake have converted their faith (apostates). Eventually, this tradition and practice are beyond the authority of the MUI and ulama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi context, input, process, product program Tahfiz{ Al-Qur’an SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kota Jayapura. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan evaluatif, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi teori Stufflebeam yaitu CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data di-peroleh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, setelah itu disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan antara lain: Per-tama, hasil evaluasi dari context program tahfiz{ di SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kota Jayapura menyatakan bahwa program tahfiz mempunyai tujuan yang jelas, namun pa-da komponen kebijakan program dan analisis kebutuhan masih perlu diperbaiki. Kedua, hasil evaluasi input program tahfiz{ Al-Qur’an menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar sudah terpenuhi yaitu adanya pemahaman yang baik dari kepala sekolah terhadap program tahfiz{, kemudian kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan menghafal Al- Qur’an juga cukup baik, termasuk kemampuan sekolah dalam menyediakan fasilitas dan pembiayaan juga cukup baik, namun yang masih perlu ditingkatkan adalah dari sisi kemampuan guru dalam men-guasai hafalan Al-Qur’an minimal 1 juz. Ketiga, hasil evaluasi process menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran tahfiz{ Al-Qur’an sudah berjalan dengan baik, sudah sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur yang dibuat oleh sekolah. Tapi dari sisi kendala, masih perlu penambahan alokasi waktu agar program hafalannya lebih efektif. Keempat, hasil evaluasi product menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian target program tahfiz{ di SD Muhammadiyah Pro-gram Khusus Kota Jayapura juga sudah berjalan cukup baik, mengingat dari aspek kognitif maupun afektifnya sudah terpenuhi. Namun dari aspek skillnya masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi, terutama pada kemampuan menghafal 3 juz.

Abstract

Abstract In this paper, the author tries to thoroughly analyze the misogynistic hadith which describes that woman lacks her sense of religion and reason. The method used by the author is to extract the hadiths from the main books, analyze them with quotes from figures from several disciplines that have relevance to the theme of the discussion. This method will answer the problem in a comprehensive and representative manner regarding women who lack reason and religion, so that the understanding generated from a hadith can be scientifically justified and clear, saved from misunderstanding. Keywords: Misogynist, Woman, Intellect, Hadith. Abstrak Artikel ini penulis mencoba mengupas secara tuntas tentang hadīs misoginis yang menggambarkan wanita itu kurang akal dan agamanya. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah dengan mentakhrij hadīs dari sumber kitab-kitab induk, menganalisanya dengan beberapa kutipan para tokoh dari beberapa disiplin ilmu yang mempunyai relevansi dengan tema pembahasan. Metode ini akan menjawab masalah secara komprehensif dan representatif mengenai wanita kurang akal dan agamanya, sehingga pemahaman yang dihasilkan dari sebuah hadīs bisa dipertanggung jawabkan secara ilmiah dan jelas, terselamatkan dari kesalah-fahaman. Kata Kunci : Misoginis, Wanita, Akal, Hadīs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how fiqh learning of Hajj procedures, the achievement of basic competencies of knowledge and skills and the problems and efforts of educators and madrasah in achieving basic competencies of knowledge and skills of students' Hajj procedures. The research method is descriptive qualitative using methodological and pedagogical approaches. The data collection technique is through observation, interviews and document studies, the subject of research on learning the procedures of Hajj, achieving the competencies of knowledge and skills of Hajj procedures, influencing factors and efforts of teachers and madrasah in overcoming the problems of Hajj procedures with the object of research students, educators and madrasah head. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman by reducing data, presenting data and verifying or drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the learning process of fiqh procedures for Hajj is in accordance with the applicable curriculum, namely through planning, implementation, and assessment of learning. Achievement of knowledge is done through classroom learning with lecture and discussion methods, measuring the achievement of knowledge competency results through daily tests and homework assignments with the results of 73% who completed KKM from 22 students. While the achievement of skills is taught through practice and student projects with 55% KKM completeness. Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the Qiro’ah and Ummi methods in enhancing Qur'an reading skills in Jayapura. This research uses a qualitative design with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Unggulan Darul Qur’an Wadda’wah Argapura and SDIT Permata Hati As-Salaam students. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and qualitatively by systematically organizing, reducing, presenting, and concluding the data. The results show that the Qiro’ah and Ummi methods effectively improve Qur'an reading skills. The Qiro’ah method focuses on mastering makharijul huruf and tajweed through pictorial media, while the Ummi method emphasizes a motherly approach with direct learning and repetition. Both methods successfully improved students' Qur'an reading fluency. The implications of this research indicate that both methods can be applied in various Islamic educational institutions in Jayapura to improve students' Qur'an reading skills. Further research is needed to explore other factors that influence the effectiveness of Qur'an learning.

Abstract

This study focuses on discussing the effectiveness of using audio-visual learning media in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMP IT Ibnu Sina Merauke. In accordance with the title that the author took, the type of research conducted by the author was field qualitative (Field Research). This type of qualitative field research (Field Research) is research that requires researchers to go to the field to make observations about a phenomenon in a natural state. By way of observation, interviews and documentation related to the problem to be studied. Field qualitative research conducted by the author aims to examine and determine the effectiveness of using audio-visual learning media in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMP IT Ibnu Sina Merauke. After analyzing the conditions in the field, the results show that the learning process is carried out using audio-visual learning media at SMP IT Ibnu Sina Merauke, it is necessary to carry out several stages, namely: the preparation stage, the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Then the factors that cause an increase in student learning outcomes by using audio-visual learning media, including: Facilities and infrastructure, teachers, students and the environment. Forms of using audio-visual learning media in improving student learning outcomes at SMP IT Ibnu Sina Merauke, use three forms, namely: forms of motivation, forms of information and forms of teaching. It can be said that the use of audio-visual learning media is very effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in PAI subjects at SMP IT Ibnu Sina Merauke. As an implication of this research it is recommended that schools should provide facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, especially audio-visual learning media. With this media, every learning, especially in PAI subjects, will be fun learning and produce the maximum expected achievement of learning objectives
