Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of using digital media affective therapy on self-control, self-esteem, and self-efficacy on academic procrastination by students when carrying out their final project or thesis in the era of pandemic COVID-19. This research is an experimental study using a quasi-experimental design. The research population is all active students in the Faculty of UAD IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon who are currently compiling scientific papers in the form of final projects and thesis with a total of 320 students. The sample in this study was taken by simple random sampling, namely two classes which were divided into an experimental group of 160 students and a control group of 160 students. The results showed that students who were carrying out their final project and thesis assisted by the use of digital media affective therapy were proven to have a partially significant effect on self-control (0.000), self-esteem (0.000), and self-efficacy (0.032). from the results of hypothesis testing conducted with the Mann Whitney test with a significant level of 5% on academic procrastination in the era pandemic covid-19. Keywords: digital media affective therapy; self-control; self-esteem; self-efficacy; academic procrastination

Abstract

Abstract: Dewasa ini tingkat kepercayaan generasi millenial terhadap pemerintah semakin menurun. Hal tersebut mungkin terjadi karena belum adanya figur pemimpin dan tokoh bangsa saat ini yang dapat meneladani beberapa tokoh perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia, seperti halnya Soekarno yang saat itu masih aktif sebagai Presiden pertama Republik Indonesia terkendala masalah ekonomi hingga akhirnya membuatnya untuk melelang salah satu peci kepunyaanya, seperti halnya Mohammad Hatta yang pantang tergoda dengan uang dan kekuasaan karena selalu memikirkan citranya sebagai seorang pemimpin dan tokoh publik, seperti halnya Mohammad Natsir yang terkenal sebagai pemimpin dan tokoh bangsa yang sedari awal selalu memilih untuk hidup sederhana karena berupaya untuk dapat memberikan suri tauladan yang baik bagi rakyatnya.

Abstract

This paper discusses the traces of religious moderation, inclusivicity and tolerant policies during the reign of the sultan Sri Tajul Alam Safiatuddin. Starting from the conflict and religious polemics in Aceh during the Iskandar Thani administration, who supported ar-Raniri's resistance to religious beliefs which he considered deviant, Safiatuddin fought them by issuing policies that led to the formation of a more tolerant, inclusive, and non-violent attitude. Safiatuddin did this by fully supporting moderate scholars such as Sheikh Abdur Rauf Singkel. This paper uses a theory about the effect of education on a person's level of tolerance and acceptences, which can trace the reasons behind Safiatuddin's policies in favor of tolerance and inclusivism. Using historical methods and literature studies, this study finds that after Iskandar Thani and ar-Raniri's return to his home country in India, Aceh's religious life is relatively harmonious and inclusive. Abdur Rauf Singkel wrote many books and essays that mediate polemic religious discourses. Abdur Rauf's efforts are fully supported by Safiatuddin, who also believes that a moderate attitude can maintain political stability and harmony in religious life in society despite various differences in religious interpretation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan program Adobe Flash cs 3 untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian experimen dengan desain penelitian Pre-Test, Post-Test Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SMA Negeri 2 Kudus. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan cara simple random sampling, yaitu dua kelas yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen yaitu XI IPS 1 (29 siswa) dan kelompok kontrol yaitu XI IPS 2 (30 siswa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan media menggunakan program Adobe Flash CS 3 di kelas XI IPS 1 berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa. (2) Minat belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan bantuan program Adobe Flash CS3 lebih tinggi daripada metode yang biasa guru gunakan dengan uji t taraf signifikan 5% dengan nilai  2,752 dan  2,000. (3) Prestasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan bantuan program Adobe Flash CS 3 lebih tinggi daripada metode yang biasa guru gunakan dengan uji t taraf signifikan 5% dengan nilai  4,399 dan  2,000Utilization of Learning Media Using the Adobe Flash CS 3 Program to Increase Student Interest and Learning Achievement in Citizenship Education Subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Kudus. This research is to determine the effect of learning media by using Adobe Flash CS 3 program to improve the interest and students’ achievement in civic education. This is an experimental research with the Pre and Post-Test Control group Design. The population of the research is SMAN 2 Kudus. The researcher uses simple random sampling, there are 2 classes as the sample, XI IPS 1 (29 students) as an experimental group and XI IPS 2 (30 students) as the control group. The result of this research indicates that: (1) The learning by using Adobe Flash CS 3 as the media in XI IPS 1 has an impact in increasing the interest and students’ achievement. (2)The students’ interest in learning civic education by using Adobe Flash CS 3 program is higher than the usual method with the T test of significant level 5%, the number of is 2,752 and  is 2,000. (3) The students’ achievement in civic education by using Adobe Flash CS 3 program is higher than the usual method with the T test of significant level 5%, the number of  is 4,399 and  is 2,000

Abstract

This research aims to know the correlation of micro-teaching and teaching practice with the professional competence of Civic Education students in LPTK in DIY. This research belongs to correlational research with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is students in the 7th semester or students who have passed micro-teaching thing classes and teaching practice programs (UNY, UAD, UPY, and UCY). The purposive sampling technique is used to determine the sample of the research. The 140 students from four Civic Education programs in the LPTK DIY are the sample of this research. The data were collected using question documentation. Data were analyzed using bivariate-experimental. The research results indicate a positive and significant correlation between teaching and teaching practice with the professional competence of the Civic Education students in LPTK in DIY. It can be proved from the signify, lower than 0.05, and the analysis of variance (ANOVA). Micro teaching and teaching effectively contribute about 58.4% to the professional competence of Civic students in LPTK in DIY.

Abstract

The discourse on preparing the next generation of the nation (smart and good citizens) is not spared as something that is considered important especially in realizing the golden generation in 2045. The involvement of young citizens in political and government activities is the essence of the life of a developing democracy in Indonesia. On the other hand, the pattern of implementing government that emphasizes good governance requires harmonization between citizens and the government to produce good governance. in Cirebon City. This research is quantitative descriptive research, using a survey method. The research instrument used was a questionnaire given to 119 respondents (yount table) and having the criteria of being a student who lives and is domiciled in the Regency and City of Cirebon. The results showed that the involvement of young citizens in the PTKIN environment in Region III Cirebon and the implementation of good governance in Cirebon City were mostly at the high category level of 107 students (89.92%) of a total of 119 students.

Abstract

The sustainability of a country depends on the quality of the next generation, which plays a vital role in various aspects of life, ranging from education, culture, economy, politics, and religion. Education can build a new generation of a nation towards a better direction. All nations worldwide are trying to prepare the next generation of good and smart citizens. Carrying the spirit of democracy, all nations worldwide emphasize organizing a good governance government and focusing on the involvement of its citizens. On this basis, it is important to know the involvement of young citizens in the implementation of good governance both at the local and national levels. This study aims to see the relationship between young citizens democracy education and the implementation of good governance. This research is quantitative research through a correlational analysis method. The sample in this study was 119 respondents from student university at Indonesia.  The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between between young citizens democracy education and the implementation of good governance. This research contributes to proving that the democratic education of young citizens has a vital role in shaping the next generation of good and smart citizens.
