Abstract

Speaking is one of skills that should be mastered by all of students who learn English. However, passive students face some difficulties in speaking. They are less confident, so they difficult to talk in present of the class. Regarding this, the teacher should teach using appropriate strategy to improve students’ speaking ability and to increase their confidence. This research was conducted to find out whether Time Token Arends can improve students’ speaking ability. This research was arranged using Classroom Action Research. The  sample taken by using purposive sampling technique. The writers took 32 students of class X IPS 1 in one of a senior high school in Cianjur as the sample of this research. Abstract

Hadirnya lembaga pendidikan memang seyogianya harus memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat di sekitarnya. Salah satunya adalah meningkatkan peran lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, baik untuk melanjutkan sekolah maupun berwirausaha untuk masa depan pembangunan desa sekitarnya. Dengan tujuan menciptakan Sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan kompeten untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menyiapkan berbagai program untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemerintah daerah dan desa. “Start from the end adalah filosofi yang tepat untuk ‘link and match’. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan tidak mungkin menghasilkan lulusan yang hanya bermodalkan ijazah dengan kemampuan yang tidak sesuai. Salah satu ending yang sekolah raih adalah Sumber daya manusia yang kompeten tidak hanya untuk industri, tapi juga pemerintah daerah dan desa. Acara yang dihadiri masyarakat sekitar sekolah ini bertujuan untuk, membangun sinergi aktif antara Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan pemerintah daerah dan desa. Dengan adanya program SMK membangun desa adalah dengan melakukan pendampingan dalam mendukung penguatan peran SMK membangun desa. menyatakan ada 3 program utama yaitu pertama mendukung percepatan investasi, kedua menciptakan kewirausahaan dan membangun ekonomi daerah, dan yang ketiga dengan melakukan penguatan SDM melalui Vokasi.

Abstract

Nephrolithiasis is the formation of hard material resembling stones originating from minerals and salts in the kidneys. Risk factors for kidney stones are frequent holding in urine, obesity, lack of drinking, urinary tract infections, and heredity. The prevalence of kidney stones in Indonesia is 6 per 1000 population or 1,499,400 people suffer from kidney stones. Various medical procedures can be performed to treat kidney stone cases, one of which is surgery. Post-operative kidney stone patients generally complain of pain and experience physical immobility problems related to the presence of surgical wounds. Nurses play a role in providing nursing care by carrying out pain management and carrying out early mobilization to train the muscle system and nervous system after surgery. The aim of writing this scientific paper is to be able to apply the theory and concept of applying early mobilization to reduce pain intensity in patients with Kidney Stones Post Surgery Extended Left Pyelolithotomy and Replace DJ Stent in Anggrek C Room, Tangerang General Hospital. The writing method used is a case study with a nursing care approach. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, 3 nursing diagnoses were found, namely: pain, physical immobility disorders, and risk of infection. After intervention and evaluation for 3 x 24 hours, data was obtained that the problem of pain and physical immobility disorders was partially resolved, this was indicated by a decrease in pain intensity and increased movement of the patient's extremities, while the problem of risk of infection had not been resolved so the intervention was continued. Nurses are expected to be able to carry out comprehensive assessments, make appropriate diagnoses, plan interventions, carry out evaluations and follow-up

Abstract

Background: Combustio or burns are damage to the skin or tissue that can occur due to contact of body parts with objects such as fire, hot liquids, electricity, chemicals and radiation. Combustio is still a serious case in Indonesia causing millions of people to die, namely more than 265,000 people every year. A non-pharmacological treatment that can be done to reduce pain in post-debridement burn wounds is giving lavender aromatherapy. Lavender aromatherapy is an aromatherapy in which the content of linalyl acetate and linalool can stimulate the release of endorphin hormones so that it can have a relaxing effect and is thought to help overcome discomfort disorders such as anxiety, can lower blood pressure and also pain. Method: The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a case study approach. Results: After the intervention of giving lavender aromatherapy using a diffuser for 3 days, the result was a decrease in pain in combustio post debridement surgery patients which was carried out every Monday and Thursday in the operating room with complaints of decreased pain, pain scale: 1, the patient looked relaxed and in the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance level α: 0.05, the results of data processing obtained a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.02. Conclusion: Lavender aromatherapy can reduce the level of pain during post-operative debridement combustio.

Abstract

Zakat sebagaimana secara tegas ditetapkan dalam UU No.23 Tahun 2011 bertujuan untuk bisa memanfaatkan amanah muzaki secara efektif dan efisien untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran masyarakat salah satunya dengan mengoptimalkan peningkatan pengumpulan zakat tidak hanya pada level pusat tapi juga pada berbagai wilayah yang ada di seluruh Indonesia. Peningkatan pengumpulan di semua pengelola zakat bukan hanya mendorong tercapainya target pengumpulan zakat yang ditetapkan setiap tahunnya tapi juga akan mampu membuat variasi program pendistribusia dan pendayagunaan yang semakin merata dan meluas. Sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang diberikan kewenangan dalam mengelola zakat, BAZNAS RI diberi kewenangan untuk melakukan pelaksanaan pengumpulan zakat diseluruh Indonesia dimana dalam pelaksanaannya di daerah-daerah dilakukan oleh BAZNAS Provinsi dan BAZNAS Kabupaten/Kota. Dalam melaksanakan pengumpulan tersebut, sasaran pengumpulan zakat BAZNAS Provinsi dan BAZNAS Kabupaten/Kota antara lain terdapat pada perangkat daerah yang berada dibawah kewenangan masing-masing kepala daerah selebihnya adalah Lembaga pemerintah dan swasta yang juga masih dibina dan berkoordinasi dengan Pemerintah Daerah. Acara yang dihadiri oleh stake holder zakat di daerah ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan pengumpulan zakat didaerah dengan menyerap aspirasi para pengelola zakat di daerah untuk memberi masukan terkait regulasi pengumpulan zakat di daerah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of corporate commitment to SDGs 9 and innovation levels on the sustainability performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is panel data regression analysis with a sample of 203 companies over the period of 2016-2022. Sustainability performance and innovation level data were obtained from the Thomson Reuters database, while commitment to SDGs 9 was measured through content analysis of corporate sustainability reports. The results show that commitment to SDGs 9 and innovation levels have a positive and significant impact on corporate sustainability performance. These findings are consistent with institutional theory, which emphasizes the importance of external pressure in driving companies to adopt sustainable practices. This study contributes to the sustainability literature by affirming the crucial role of SDGs 9 and innovation in enhancing corporate ESG performance. The results also provide practical insights for companies and policymakers in designing effective sustainability strategies. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas tentang hubungan antara kualitas layanan dan kinerja pegawai, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kualitas layanan yang paling mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai di instansi pemerintah. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan yang berguna bagi pimpinan di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Banjar dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada pegawai, sehingga dapat memaksimalkan kinerja pegawai dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas pemerintahan. Kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti motivasi kerja, hubungan antar pegawai, dan kebijakan organisasi juga perlu dipertimbangkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara menyeluruh

Abstract

Breast cancer ranks first in terms of the highest number of cancers in Indonesia and is one of the first contributors to death due to cancer. One of the physical complaints that many patients complain about is pain. Pain is a painful experience for them and they need to be given pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy to reduce its intensity. Objective to obtain an overview of nursing care for ca mammae patients with hand massage intervention on pain intensity at the Tangerang District Hospital. This research is a case study and is combined with a pre-experiment using a paired sample t-test. The results of the analysis showed a significant change in the intensity of pain experienced by patients before and after hand massage therapy (p-value=0.015). The patient reported being more relaxed and reducing the pain. Judging from the objective response, the patient appeared less anxious, grimaced in pain and calmer than before.

Abstract

Patients with open degloving dextra femur who underwent long treatment in hospital experienced low self-esteem characterized by negative selfassessment, feeling embarrassed, and rejecting positive assessments about themselves. Based on the data obtained, this degloving is a very rare case in the Anggrek C Room at Tangerang Regency Regional Hospital, during 2023 there was only 1 case, where this case occurred in October. Objective: Increase patient self-esteem by providing cognitive therapy interventions. Method: A pre-test and post-test were carried out both before and after cognitive therapy was given with the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES) instrument which contains 10 statements, each of which has an assessment which will then be added up and categorized. Cognitive therapy is divided into 4 sessions, which the author did for 3 days. Session 1 is identifying negative thoughts that automatically arise. Session 2 is using acceptable responses to negative thoughts that automatically arise. Session 3 explains the benefits of acceptable responses to negative thoughts that automatically arise. Session 4 involves the family as a supporter to help the patient increase his self-esteem. Results: Before giving cognitive therapy, the score was 2 (low self-esteem), but after being given cognitive therapy for 3 days, the score increased to 27 (high self-esteem). In the paired sample t-test, a significance value of 0.023 was obtained, less than the significance level of 0.05, so it can be concluded that cognitive therapy can increase patient self-esteem.

Abstract

Burns continue to pose a challenge for health professionals and are also one of the most prevalent health issues in the world, resulting in a permanent impairment of function and appearance. The Tangerang District Hospital reported that the number of patients treated for burns was 8 in October 2023, 6 in November 2023, and 11 in December 2023, according to statistical data. Objective of this research to improve the patient's activity abilities by providing physical therapy interventions. Observations were carried out for 3 days after the patient was given physical therapy for 15-30 minutes on both limbs, hands and feet, both before and after using the MMT (Manual Muscle Testing) questionnaire which contains 7 statements, each of which has an assessment which is then added up. After giving physical therapy for 3 days, the results of the MMT questionnaire showed that the results on the first day were 25, on the second day they were 26, then on the third day they were 29. Utilizing the paired sample t-test, the sig value obtained. After conducting a two-tailed analysis, it is evident that physical therapy can enhance the patient's muscle activity and functionality.
