Abstract

This study intends to find out how the influence of adolescent behavior on social media users. Currently, almost the majority of teenagers in Indonesia use social media. Social media is something that cannot be left behind in the daily life of teenagers. Researchers, in this case, analyze the behavior of teenagers in using social media. used in this research. This research is included in quantitative research with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis method used is the normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression coefficient test, and hypothesis testing using determination test or R2. Sampling in this study using a proportional random sampling technique. The number of samples obtained as many as 40 respondents with the criteria of teenagers who access social media Facebook. Research results based on the results of research and discussion of the influence of Facebook media on behavioral deviations in adolescents, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of Facebook media on behavioral deviations of adolescents who includes the words of students can be seen from the words of students who are not polite, the use of dirty words in daily communication. Students' addiction to Facebook makes students tend to use Facebook whenever and wherever there is an opportunity, even during lessons. Students' individualism can be seen from the use of Facebook to communicate and rarely meet directly with friends which results in a decrease in social attitudes in students who tend not to care about the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The batik business is engaged by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In marketing products, there are still MSMEs that use word of mouth (WOMM) in marketing techniques and use WhatsApp communication. Media such as SMEs in the field of batik weaving fashion Muhibbuddiana. This service activity is intended to assist in the use of Instagram in marketing and selling products online, from creating Instagram accounts and product documentation to posting content, as well as analyzing Instagram insights to find out the most popular posts, follower and non-follower interactions, and increase in the number of followers. The activity results show the effect of the ease of using social media on promotion and sales, the impact of using social media to increase sales turnover, and the importance of understanding Instagram insight for customer segmentation.

Abstract

This study aims to build a web-based geographic information system for food material and foodstuffs UMKMs in Makassar City to disseminate geographic information that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere. The system is designed using a sequential waterfall method. Data sourced from the Makassar City Cooperatives and UKMs Office, field surveys, and interviews with UMKM owners. This system were developed to assist the government in providing information to the public about the location and distribution of UMKMs and other related information in dealing with the new normal, because it can visualize the distribution in Makassar City well. The system has been successfully developed through public testing, the average values ​​of which are user objectives (4.18), information quality (4.13), and System Quality (4.12).

Abstract

TK Asoka Makassar merupakan mitra sasaran dalam program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Melalui wawancara dan diskusi dengan mitra, terungkap bahwa layanan informasi dan promosi yang diberikan oleh sekolah belum maksimal. Saat ini, komunikasi dan promosi yang dilakukan terbatas pada metode lisan, brosur, dan spanduk, yang dinilai kurang efektif dan memiliki keterbatasan dalam akses informasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih inovatif untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dan promosi, sehingga informasi dapat tersebar lebih luas dan menjangkau lebih banyak pihak. Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) menawarkan solusi dengan mengembangkan sistem informasi sekolah yang terintegrasi yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah akses informasi dan mendukung promosi sekolah secara digital melalui sebuah website. Website ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media promosi, tetapi juga sebagai platform untuk meningkatkan layanan informasi yang lebih interaktif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah keberadaan website sekolah yang dapat diakses pada http://www.tkasokamakassar.sch.id yang terdiri dari beberapa menu yaitu menu tentang sekolah, program sekolah, fasilitas, prestasi sekolah, dan hubungi kami. Selain meningkatkan kualitas layanan informasi dan promosi, pelatihan penggunaan website juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam pengelolaan konten, yang terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola website.

Abstract

This study uses a descriptive quantitative research approach with the aim of explaining the marketing strategy to improve the competitiveness of manufacturing companies at PT Maraya Mediatama Indonesia by using SWOT analysis. The subjects in this study were employees and customers of PT Maraya Mediatama Indonesia. Using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis method used in this research is SWOT analysis. This analysis is based on logic that can maximize strengths (Strengths) and opportunities (Opportunities), but can simultaneously minimize weaknesses (weaknesses) and threats (Threats). The results of this study start from formulating a SWOT matrix so as to obtain an SO strategy, namely maintaining affordable prices, expanding market share, maintaining the quality and quality of service and maintaining the quality of labor / HR, WO strategy, namely increasing promotional activities, trying to increase the number of human resources, ST strategy, namely improving product quality and service quality and improving the quality of human resources and WT strategy, namely further improving the quality and quality of service to customers and developing new strategies; formulating the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix so that the total score of strengths (strengths) is 2.99 and the total score of weaknesses (weaknesses) is 0.40. So for the difference in strengths and weaknesses obtained, the strengths and weaknesses are obtained. So that the difference between strengths and weaknesses is 2.59; formulate the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix so that the total score of opportunities is 2.62 and the total score of threats is 0.5. So that the difference between opportunities and threats is obtained 2.12; formulate the SPACE matrix so that PT Maraja Mediatama Indonesia is located in the aggressive quadrant. Where the company can use its internal strengths to take advantage of external opportunities; next is to formulate the IE matrix so that the position of PT Maraja Mediatama Indonesia is in a position to hold and maintain; and the last is to formulate the QSPM matrix. Based on the results of the TAS calculation, the most desirable and prioritized strategy to be carried out is to improve product quality and service quality and improve the quality of human resources with a TAS score of 6.634. The second strategy is to further improve the quality and quality of service by developing new strategies with a TAS score of 6.145. The third strategy is to increase promotional activities and the number of human resources with a TAS score of 6.382. Furthermore, maintaining affordable prices and expanding market share can be used to attract consumers with a TAS score of 6.076. So it can be concluded that the prioritized strategy is to improve product quality and service quality and improve the quality of human resources so as to produce products that can attract the purchasing power of customers / consumers.

Abstract

Jalur kereta api yang dibangun oleh pemerintah dengan rute dari Makassar ke Pare-pare ditujukan sebagai salah satu penopang pilar ekonomi kerakyatan yang dapat menjadi penggerak utama perekonomian daerah, oleh karena itu perhatian pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan terhadap hal ini sangat besar. Namun, dalam proses pembangunannya terdapat kendala yang di hadapi salah satunya adalah konflik pembebasan tanah di sekitar wilayah jalur kereta api yang masih belum terselesaikan dengan segala macam resiko yang muncul di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, faktor strategi manajemen risiko dapat menjadi hal yang penting untuk di lakukan dalam upaya untuk dapat mengatasi risiko yang muncul sehingga dapat membantu pemerintah dalam menyelesaikan konflik pada pembebasan lahan di kawasan kereta api Makassar-Pare pare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether employee competence and work motivation have an influence on the quality of financial reporting at the Office of the Airport Authority Region V Makassar. The data in this research were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires as the primary instrument. The sampling technique used was the saturated sample method, where all members of the population were used as the research sample. Prior to its use, the research instrument was tested for validity and reliability, and also underwent classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of statistical software. The results of the study indicate that employee competence has a positive influence on the quality of financial reporting. This means that the higher the level of employee competence in carrying out tasks related to the preparation of financial reports, the better the quality of the reports produced. The competencies in question include understanding financial regulations, accuracy, and technical skills in preparing reports accurately and on time. In addition, work motivation also contributes positively to the quality of financial reporting. Employees with high levels of motivation tend to be more responsible and committed to completing their tasks, including in the preparation of financial reports. Together, employee competence and work motivation significantly influence the improvement of financial reporting quality, although other external factors not examined in this study may also have an impact.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Remote Mobile Samsat (SAMKEPO) program in improving motor vehicle tax payment services at the UPTB Samsat Gowa, South Sulawesi. SAMKEPO was developed to address low taxpayer compliance in remote areas due to geographical barriers, limited accessibility, and inadequate service quality in conventional systems. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, document analysis, and literature review involving taxpayers, Samsat officers, and policymakers. Findings show that SAMKEPO significantly improved service coverage up by 40% and increased taxpayer compliance by 25–35%. The program reduced average service time from 2–3 hours to 15–30 minutes, lowered arrears by 35%, and enhanced public satisfaction by 90% among users. Key success factors include adequate infrastructure and logistics, skilled and empathetic human resources, community engagement through local leaders, and alignment of service schedules with socio-economic activities. Technology integration, such as real-time database access and on-site digital payments, increased transparency and efficiency, while collaborative governance between agencies strengthened operational synergy. However, challenges remain in digital literacy, network connectivity, and service expansion to more remote districts. The study recommends optimizing the SAMSAT mobile application with accessible features, strengthening digital literacy programs, and enhancing inter-agency collaboration to ensure sustainable improvement. SAMKEPO demonstrates that integrating technology, mobility, and community-based approaches can modernize public tax services, foster compliance, and contribute to regional revenue growth, making it a replicable model for other regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper will examine and discuss how job satisfaction, job stress, and career development affect turnover intention among the employees of the Muttaqin Bambang Purwanto Uswatun and Partners Public Appraisal Services Office in Jakarta. It follows a quantitative methodology. The sample population in this study was a population of 52 employees within the said office in Jakarta. The sampling method used was a saturated sampling method, where the entire population was covered with its total amount of 52 participants. The data was obtained by filling out a questionnaire using a Likert scale, which was provided by the means of Google Forms. This study findings show that the effect of job satisfaction on the turnover intention of the employees at the Muttaqin Bambang Purwanto Rozak Uswatun and Partners Public Appraisal Services Office in Jakarta is negative and statistically insignificant. Job stress positively and significantly influences the turnover intention of employees in the said office. The effects of career development on the turnover intention of employees in the same office, are positive albeit statistically significant. Additionally, job satisfaction, job stress, and career development are elements that determine turnover intention among the employees of the Muttaqin Bambang Purwanto Jakarta Office of the Purwanto Partners in Jakarta.

Abstract

Fashion as a form of political communication during the 2024 Presidential Election in Indonesia, this study aims to explore how fashion was utilized as a medium of political communication by the presidential and vice-presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, with a focus on the visual representations displayed through the social media platform Instagram. In this context, fashion is not merely seen as a matter of clothing style, but as a set of signs that carry political, symbolic, and ideological meanings. This research employs a qualitative method through a literature study by analyzing various scholarly sources and visual documentation obtained from the official Instagram account @prabowo.gibran2. The theoretical framework is based on Roland Barthes’ semiotic theory, which outlines the process of meaning-making through three key stages: denotation (literal meaning), connotation (cultural meaning), and myth (the underlying ideological narrative within signs). The findings reveal that the fashion choices worn by Prabowo-Gibran during the campaign conveyed strong nonverbal political messages. For instance, Prabowo’s signature militaristic style constructed an image of firmness and nationalism. Meanwhile, Gibran’s light blue varsity jacket adorned with anime motifs highlighted youth identity and a non-conventional approach to politics. Most iconically, the frequent use of light blue shirts and casual clothing represented simplicity, a sense of closeness to the people, and youthful energy. These meanings were visually constructed and consistently repeated across various posts, forming a political myth that portrayed Prabowo-Gibran as an ideal duo combining seasoned leadership with youthful vigor.
