Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing people's utilization of vaccination services at the Sigli City Health Center. This research employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. Independent variables included age, occupation, education, knowledge, accessibility, family support, perception, and immunization history, while the dependent variable was the utilization of the Covid-19 vaccine service. The study was conducted in November, with a sample size of 371 respondents selected using random sampling techniques based on the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the respondents. The research findings revealed that approximately 78.71% of the population utilized the vaccine service, while 21.29% did not. Bivariate analysis indicated that out of the eight variables examined, five variables had a significant relationship with the utilization of the Covid-19 vaccine service, namely occupation, knowledge, accessibility, family support, and perception, each with a p-value of 0.000. Multivariate analysis further confirmed that knowledge was the most dominant factor, with a p-value of 0.000 and an Odds Ratio of 23.3 (95% CI = 63.5-85.9). Thus, a lack of knowledge was found to be a significant factor influencing the utilization of the Covid-19 vaccine service.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on society, particularly on healthcare professionals who have been at the forefront of the pandemic response. They have faced a high risk of virus exposure and have been burdened with extraordinary responsibilities in saving lives. Since the onset of the pandemic until February 2022, thousands of healthcare workers have been exposed to the virus, and some have even lost their lives. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the factors influencing the level of anxiety among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research employed a cross-sectional survey approach and was conducted at Cut Nyak Dhien Regional General Hospital, West Aceh Regency, in November 2021. The study population consisted of 396 healthcare workers, with a sample of 304 healthcare workers selected using purposive sampling. Data collected were analyzed using logistic regression. The findings revealed that the majority of healthcare workers at Cut Nyak Dhien Hospital experienced high levels of anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic, with 72.37% experiencing panic anxiety, while 27.63% experienced non-panic anxiety. Significant factors influencing anxiety levels included family support, with an odds ratio (OR) of 2.1 and a p-value of 0.017, sufficient knowledge with an OR of 0.5 and a p-value of 0.084, and adequate provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with an OR of 2.1 and a p-value of 0.026. However, there was no significant relationship between anxiety levels and variables such as age, profession, marital status, highest education level, and comorbid conditions.

Abstract

The Case of Covid-19 in Indonesia from 2020 - 2021 has not shown any changes yet. The Covid-19 pandemic has crippled all areas of activity, especially in the field of education. The learning system that was previously carried out face-to-face has suddenly changed to online, where there are obstacles that trigger the emergence of stress. This study aims to determine changes in stress levels during the PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) and PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) periods and the determinants that cause changes in stress levels in students during the Covid-19 pandemic period in Aceh. This research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all students in Aceh who were studying in Aceh with a sample of 122 students who had met the inclusion criteria using the random sampling method with two data collection times. The statistical tests used were the T-test and logistic regression test using STATA 14. The results of this study show that the stress levels experienced by students are in the moderate (63.11%) and severe (34.33%) categories. Of the 13 variables studied, there are 2 variables related to stress levels during the PSBB period, namely learning motivation and college assignments, and 3 variables related to stress levels during the PPKM period, namely college assignments, learning styles, and limited quotas with a p-value <0.05.
