Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penalaran matematika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih dalam rangka persiapan Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK). Tahap persiapan dilakukan secara cermat melalui pengurusan perizinan, studi literatur untuk merancang materi yang relevan, serta pemilihan peserta secara acak guna memastikan keberagaman. Materi pelatihan dirancang tidak hanya berfokus pada penyelesaian soal, tetapi juga pada penguasaan strategi penalaran sebagai keterampilan kritis dalam pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan pendekatan sistematis. Hari pertama dimulai dengan pretest untuk mengukur kemampuan awal siswa, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi soal-soal geometri serta sesi motivasi untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Pada hari kedua, siswa dibagi ke dalam kelompok kecil untuk pembelajaran kolaboratif yang berfokus pada masalah aljabar. Hari ketiga difokuskan pada penguatan topik geometri melalui kerja kelompok dan diakhiri dengan posttest untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan personal secara efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika yang relevan dengan ANBK. Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan pemberian kenang-kenangan dan sambutan motivasi dari kepala sekolah. Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi ANBK serta mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih.

Abstract

Peanut is one of the most important legume commodities in Indonesia. In its implementation, a lot of research has been done related to this plant. However, in studies conducted by growth models, it is very rarely studied. Therefore, researchers are interested in modeling the growth of peanuts. One of the models that can be used is a multilevel regression model for the case of repeated measurement data. Multilevel regression was chosen because it is considered to provide more information than other regression models. On the other hand, the nonlinear model was chosen based on the tendency of the initial plot of the data obtained. The research method used is a case study in the study of peanut growth. This study aims to build the best model based on the tested model. The Restricted Estimator Maximum Likelihood (REML) parameter estimation method was chosen because it is considered to have unbiased parameter estimates. The best model is based on the lowest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) generated from a predetermined model. The results obtained indicate that the multilevel parabolic regression model is the model with the best AIC size. In addition, it was found that there was an Interclass Correlation (ICC) of 81.19% which indicated a difference in variability between levels.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes us have to be able to adapt well. Using the internet as a medium for activities is an unavoidable part. Therefore, it is necessary to learn about the ability to use the internet in activities called digital literacy. Digital literacy is a basic skill that students must have. It is no exception in the field of mathematics as one of the absolute sciences taught at every level of education. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining digital literacy in the field of mathematics. This research in general is still very rarely done, therefore it requires an in-depth understanding of theoretical studies to see the factors that influence digital literacy skills in the field of mathematics. The lack of sample size and the relativity of adequacy in fulfilling assumptions encourage the use of PLS-SEM as an alternative in analyzing the model formed. In this study, Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) are still used to build a framework and test the structural model to be formed. In addition, the method used gives researchers the freedom to express curiosity about the problem at hand. The results obtained show that the final model can be said to be good. Mathematics digital literacy skills are influenced by several main variables that are interrelated. These variables start from the carrying capacity of schools and families. These two variables will then have an impact on the readiness of teachers and students in the community to succeed or support mathematics digital literacy skills. School readiness and family support are the main keys in succeeding or improving digital math literacy skills.

Abstract

Economic growth in Indonesia has become a major concern in the global context, especially before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Key sectors such as tourism, manufacturing, trade and transportation have been seriously affected by restrictions on travel and economic activity imposed to control the spread of the virus. Therefore, it is considered necessary to carry out modeling to describe existing conditions. In this research, two approaches were used, namely the Maximum Likelihood approach and the Bayes approach. The use of methods in general as research material for researchers to study these two methods further. So far the algorithm used for the Bayes concept method is Markov Chain Monte Carlo with Hasting's Metropolis method. The parameter estimation results obtained from both methods are considered quite identical. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the iteration procedure that will be carried out. The selection of factors used in the iteration process is very determining in obtaining estimated parameter values. Furthermore, the results obtained so far do not contain any fundamental differences regarding economic growth in Indonesia. In general, Indonesia can be said to be stable in terms of economic growth.

Abstract

Random forest algorithm allows for building better CART models. However, the disadvantage of this method is often underfitting, especially for small node sizes. Therefore, the double random forest method was developed to overcome this problem. The research was conducted by utilising Education Management Information System (EMIS) data, which is related to the incidence of school dropout. The data used consists of 2 data, namely MTs and MA dropout data. The initial testing procedure was carried out using the random forest algorithm for each data set, then the data was evaluated using the double random forest method. From this study, the underfitting case can be overcome well using the double random forest algorithm, while in the fit case, the difference in the goodness-of-fit value of the model is relatively the same. The results obtained show that MTs prioritise school quality more than MA, although family factors are more important at the MA level. Although the total number of factors used is basically the same, it should be noted that the two school levels have different relevance variables. It should be noted that no forecasting was done in this study given that the methodology used two different types of data.
