Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to investigate and find out whether there is a relationship between mental toughness and disturbance factors in South Sumatran karate athletes. The method used is the correlation method. The population is the projected 21 Aceh-North Sumatra PON athletes. The sample was taken from the total population, namely 21 athletes. Data collection uses psychological tests, namely mental toughness psychological tests before being connected to variables, and mental toughness psychological tests after being connected to internal and external variables. The number of valid questions was 18 questions with a reliability level above 0.607 with a strong relationship. Data analysis is parametric analysis of partial and simultaneous correlation tests. The research results showed that several factors were found that interfered with athletes' mental toughness due to internal and external factors. The relationship between internal factors and mental toughness in South Sumatra Karate athletes is low because the correlation coefficient value is 0.103, while the contribution of implementation is 11%. The relationship between external factors and mental toughness in South Sumatran Karate athletes is strong because the correlation coefficient value is 0.607 while the contribution of implementation is 61%. There is a simultaneous relationship between internal and external factors and mental toughness in South Sumatran Karate athletes with a fairly strong correlation coefficient level of 0.569 with an application contribution of 59%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of a valid and effective bolang game model for inclusive education children. The research method is a research and development method by adopting the Borg and Gall stages into three stages, namely research, development and diffusion. The expert validators of the research include expert game validators and competition experts in the field of inclusive education. Data collection using a questionnaire sheet (questionnaire). Data analysis using percentage analysis. This study concluded that the bolang game model for inclusive education children's competitions was declared very valid with an average expert validation of 93.5%. The results of the field trial explained that the small scale had a percentage of 91.6 while the large scale was 89.5 with very good criteria. The bolang game is a term for a hole ball game, played using both hands to put the ball into a small hole as a target. The bolang game model can be used as a media for competitive sports of choice for inclusive education children, due to limited access to space for movement, making it difficult to do the types of sports that are usually played by normal children.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative and structured training model for the basic underhand pass technique in volleyball using target media as a training aid. The research subjects were adolescent athletes from PBV Tunas Inti Sriwijaya who are currently undergoing a development program. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. During the development stage, validations were conducted by volleyball technique experts and media experts to assess the feasibility of the product. The validation results showed that the developed training model was highly valid, with an average score of 96.66%. Furthermore, small-scale and large-scale trials were conducted on different groups of athletes, and the results indicated a practicality level of 90.00%, categorized as highly practical. The resulting product consists of a training manual and a training model video that incorporates target media exercises to improve the accuracy of direction and control in underhand passing. This training model has proven effective in enhancing basic technical skills, athlete motivation, and engagement during training sessions. Therefore, the product can serve as an effective and innovative alternative solution for coaches and clubs in designing more systematic and enjoyable training programs.
