Abstract

The rapid increase in information technology has provided benefits to society in various fields, including culinary businesses such as catering. One example is Aisyah Purple Kuliner Catering, which offers various foods such as tumpeng rice, market snack cakes and traditional snacks. However, until now, this catering business has not fully utilized information technology such as a catering marketplace, which can facilitate communication and transactions between buyers and catering entrepreneurs. Apart from that, the process of collecting data and recording orders is still done manually, which results in problems in reporting order data. Therefore, the solution offered is to use a website in the catering business, by building a web-based application that uses a marketplace concept and has a "Mix Menu" feature. This feature allows customers to choose the items they want to order themselves, which makes it more similar to the experience of eating at a restaurant or food stall. This application was developed using the waterfall model and has been tested. Test results using the black box test showed that all application functionalities were running according to their function.

Abstract

Perkembangan jaringan komunikasi disebabkan adanya kebutuhan pengguna untuk dapat terhubung kapanpun dan dimanapun. Modernisasi internet terus meningkatkan bandwidth untuk meningkatkan layanan multimedia, khususnya di perkotaan. Di antara banyaknya transmisi telekomunikasi, fiber optik menjadi pilihan paling baik untuk membangun jaringan telekomunikasi yang andal. Penggelaran jaringan akses fiber optik baru ini menjadi solusi bagi operator telekomunikasi agar kebutuhan pelanggan terpenuhi akan layanan data, suara dan video terintegrasi. Salah satu teknologinya ialah FTTH (Fiber to the Home). Artikel ini menggunakan jaringan konifgurasi FTTH dengan teknologi GPON (Gigabit Capable Passive Optical Network) untuk kawasan perumahan atau pemukiman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan jaringan dengan mengukur redaman total pada FTTH. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode power link budget dan metode Quality of Service (QoS). Nilai total redaman pada kabel fiber optik memiliki Batasan yang dapat diterima, yaitu sekitar 15-23 dB. Analisis desain dilakukan berdasarkan parameter anggaran dari power link budget sedangkan nilai Quality of Service berada dalam kategori sangat bagus.

Abstract

Phishing attack works by deceiving the victim so that they give their asset such as credential information to the attacker. The high level of cybercrime in form of phishing after COVID-19 pandemic has increasingly affected. It reaches new quarterly high in late 2022, where there was more than 4.7 million of phishing attacks has been launched, based on Anti-Phishing Work Group (APWG) Phishing Activity Trends Report. The importance of knowledge about phishing awareness is very necessary to minimize the affected victim. In order to decrease the issue, a Cybersecurity Awareness workshop has been conducted at several schools in Batam suburban area; SMK Negeri 1 Batam, SMK Multistudi High School (MHS) Batam, and SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pinang. The aim of these activity is to increase cybersecurity public awareness of phishing attack from an early age, especially at schools. As an approach, several activities related to phishing awareness have been executed in a workshop, including phishing simulation as well as socialization. Based on these activities, results shown that phishing awareness has been achieved in average 70% currently at young age.

Abstract

PT Skynet Indonesia Madani, a telecommunications company based in Batam City, specializes in providing Broadband Internet and Dedicated Internet services as an Internet Service Provider (ISP). With servers capable of supporting up to 5,000 customers across various areas in Batam City, maintaining network stability is paramount. A critical component of this stability is the server room's temperature regulation. Regular monitoring and control of the air conditioning in the server room are essential to prevent device failures due to errors or overheating. To enhance reliability and reduce human error, an automatic control system for the server room's air conditioning was developed. This system, built using Wemos D1 R1, DHT11 Module, IR Transceiver, PZEM V2.0, Tp-link TL-WR840N, and Tp-link TL-SF1008D, offers features such as scheduled cooling activation, real-time server room temperature monitoring, and notification capabilities for air conditioning disruptions. The system is web-based, facilitating remote access and control. The development approach for this system employed the Waterfall method, complemented by QoS (Quality of Service) analysis techniques. This research aims to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the automatic control system for PT Skynet Indonesia Madani's server room air conditioning.
