Abstract

The development of electronic learning materials is very necessary for the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic which requires lecture activities to be carried out online. This was carried out to support physical distancing to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. Currently, there are not many electronic learning materials available that lead to student-centered learning (SCL) and can be implemented amid the COVID- 19 pandemics. The purpose of this research is to develop an eLEMA (Electronic Learning Material) application, an Android-based electronic learning material with content or material that can be accessed online and offline, and with features that make it easier for users to operate. This research is a research development (Research and Development; R & D) to develop Android-based ELEMA-SCL Protozoa (Electronic Learning Material-Student Centered Learning) for Zoology courses. This development model consists of 3 phases of approach, namely: (1) Phase 1: Needs Assessment; (2) Phase 2: Design; and (3) Phase 3: Develop / Implement. The product developed in the form of an Android-based eLEMA application made using the MIT App Inventor is feasible to implement. The implementation results show: (1) the effectiveness of online and offline lectures with a gain value of 0.52 in the Medium category; (2) student response to the implementation of eLEMA is positive. Thus, the eLEMA application can be used for online and offline lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

LKPD is a learning facility and guideline to support learning activities to be active and interactive so that it makes it easier for students to achieve learning goals. Based on the observation results, it shows that there are limitations in teaching materials in the form of LKPD which still do not support the learning needs of students. Teachers use package books in which there are brief assignments and practicum activities as learning guidelines without directly facing students on problems related to the material, and the LKPD used is not interesting and complete. The purpose of the study is to determine the feasibility of the product and the response of students to the biomagazine-based LKPD development product on ecosystem material in class X of SMA Negeri 10 Palangka Raya. The development method with the Hannafin and Peck model consists of three phases, namely Analysis, Design, and Development and Implementation where all stages involve the evaluation and revision process. The data collection instrument is a validation questionnaire of material experts, media, language, and student responses. LKPD is tested in small-scale stages. The results of the development research resulted in a biomagazine-based LKPD product with the results of development suitable for use in learning in schools. This is based on data obtained from the assessment of the feasibility of LKPD by material experts of 77.65%, media experts 80%, linguists 98.57%, and student responses of 97.65%.

Abstract

Ikan lais memiliki peran penting dalam ekosistem sungai sebagai predator dan sumber pakan bagi predator lain. Namun, ikan ini juga rentan terhadap perubahan lingkungan. Abstract

The learning carried out in class XI MA Hidayatul Insan uses LKPD which is still limited and has not supported the learning needs of students, so that the learning that takes place is not optimal, the learning process is less interactive, inspiring, and less motivating students to actively participate. Teachers have not maximized the use of LKPD that is attractive to students. This study aims to determine the structure, feasibility, and student response to LKPD based on Liveworksheet Cell material. This research was conducted in class XI MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya and will use data collection instruments in the form of interview guidelines and to determine the quality of E-LKPD using validation from materials, media experts, and linguists. Based on what has been described, it is necessary to conduct research with the title "Development of Liveworksheet-Based LKPD on Class XI MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya Cell Material". The results of the liveworksheet-based LKPD Development Research were obtained from evaluations conducted by validators of material experts, media experts, and linguists. The quality of the material presented in the LKPD developed with an average score of 77.65% is included in the eligibility criteria. The quality of the LKPD display developed The average percentage of score obtained 80% is included in the feasible criteria and, the quality of the language presented in the LKPD developed with an average score of 98.57% is included in the very feasible criteria. Based on a small-scale trial, the results of students' responses to liveworksheet-based LKPD products showed a very positive response with 97.65%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Development of LKPD Based on Liveworksheets in Class XI Mahidayatul Insan Palangka Raya Cell Material is feasible and stated to be usable in the learning process.

Abstract

Masih terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi MGMP Kabupaten Pulang Pisau melalui pelatihan pengembangan media Eco Board Game sebagai pendukung implementasi Kurikulum Mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan simulasi pembuatan serta penerapan Eco Board Game dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 13 guru Biologi SMA. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan. Peserta juga memberikan respon positif terhadap kemudahan penerapan media ini di kelas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan respon positif peserta: 76,92% sangat setuju dan 23,07% setuju terhadap kualitas materi; 69,23% sangat setuju dan 30,86% setuju terhadap penggunaan media; serta 76,92% sangat setuju dan 23,07% setuju terhadap manfaat dan motivasi pelatihan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan Eco Board Game efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru Biologi, khususnya dalam penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. ABSTRACT Teachers still have limited ability to develop interactive learning media that are in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This community service activity aims to improve the pedagogical competence of biology teachers in the Pulang Pisau District MGMP through training in the development of Eco Board Game media to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The implementation methods include socialization, demonstration, and simulation of the creation and application of Eco Board Games in the learning process. The activity was attended by 13 high school biology teachers. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and activity evaluation. The results showed that participants were able to understand the concept of developing game-based learning media. Participants also responded positively to the ease of applying this media in the classroom. The evaluation results showed positive responses from participants: 76.92% strongly agreed and 23.07% agreed with the quality of the material; 69.23% strongly agreed and 30.86% agreed with the use of the media; and 76.92% strongly agreed and 23.07% agreed with the benefits and motivation of the training. In conclusion, the Eco Board Game training was effective in improving the pedagogical competence of Biology teachers, particularly in the application of a fun, contextual learning approach that aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The use of plants by a part of society in the cultural scope is studied in a special branch of biological science, namely ethnobotany. Ethnobotany is a science that studies the relationship between humans and plants and their environment based on the life experienced by society. This study aims to find out what types of plants are used as medicine by the local community in Pendahara Village and to discover how to process and use plants as medicine by the community. The method in this study employs an exploratory survey method, which is research that seeks to explore something new, not widely known by the public, and aims to be studied more deeply by conducting direct interviews with sources and informants, namely the community in Pendahara Village. Data collection techniques are carried out by providing interviewers, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found 16 types of plants that can be used as traditional medicine. The results of the study found 16 types of plants that can be used as traditional medicine. These plant species are Orthosiphon aristatus, petindis plants, Hippobroma longifora, Tinospora cordifolia, Arcangesia flava (L.) Merr, Annona muricate, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L., Asplenium nidus L., Averrhoa bilimbi L., Areca catechu, Psidium guajava L., Cordyline, Acorus calamus L., Phyllanthus niruri L., Kalanchoe pinnata, and Luvunga sarmentosa. It was concluded that the use of the plant as a traditional medicine has been felt to be effective in external and internal medicine.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations and interviews with biology teachers in grade X at PGRI Pulang Pisau High School, it was found that the learning resources used were still limited to textbooks that contained brief learning activities and practical work. The available student worksheets did not cover important components such as identity, basic competencies, and theoretical foundations, and were uninteresting due to the lack of variety in the material and questions. This condition has an impact on the low motivation and involvement of students in learning. To overcome this problem, integrated local Dayak wisdom LKPD based on CrosswordLabs was developed to make learning more contextual and interactive. This study aims to develop LKPD, its validity, and practicality. The development method used the modified 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) up to the Develop stage. The results showed that the worksheets fulfilled important learning elements such as identity, basic competencies, objectives, material, learning activities, and CrosswordLabs-based exercises. The overall validity test resulted in a percentage score of 83.00%, which is considered valid. The practicality test showed a very practical category with a response rate of 85.35% from students and 89.00% from teachers. Thus, this LKPD is feasible and very practical for use in biology learning. Keyword: Development, LKPD, Local Wisdom, Crosswordlabs Abstrak: Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru Biologi di kelas X SMA PGRI Pulang Pisau, ditemukan bahwa sumber belajar yang digunakan masih terbatas pada buku paket yang memuat kegiatan belajar dan praktikum secara singkat. LKPD yang tersedia belum mencakup komponen penting seperti identitas, kompetensi dasar, dan dasar teori, serta kurang menarik karena minimnya variasi materi dan soal. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi serta keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan LKPD terintegrasi kearifan lokal Dayak berbasis CrosswordLabs agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih kontekstual dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk proses pengembangan LKPD, validitas, dan praktikalitas LKPD yang dikembangkan. Metode pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang dimodifikasi sampai tahap Develop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi unsur penting pembelajaran seperti identitas, kompetensi dasar, tujuan, materi, kegiatan belajar, serta latihan berbasis CrosswordLabs. Hasil uji validitas keseluruhan diperoleh nilai persentase 83,00 % dengan kriteria valid. Uji praktikalitas menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis dengan respon peserta didik 85,35% dan guru 89,00%. Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat Desa Lawang Uru berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang belum sepenuhnya mampu mengembangkan potensi, kemampuan, dan kreativitasnya dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal yang memiliki nilai ekonomi. Di desa ini terdapat komunitas perempuan yaitu SPPer (Seksi Pelayanan Perempuan) GKE Lawang Uru, yang merupakan wadah persekutuan perempuan Kristen di lingkungan gereja setempat. Melimpahnya tanaman bunga telang di wilayah ini menjadi potensi yang dapat dikembangkan melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan minuman kesehatan berbasis bunga telang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas ibu-ibu SPPer dalam mengolah hasil alam menjadi produk bernilai jual, sekaligus menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan dan kemandirian ekonomi keluarga. Program pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif, yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif peserta dalam seluruh tahapan, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan respon positif dari peserta, dengan 80% menyatakan sangat setuju dan 20% setuju bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat nyata berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta motivasi dalam mengembangkan potensi diri dan usaha produktif di lingkungan mereka.
