Abstract

ABSTRACT Brown Mud crab (Scylla serrata Forskal) living and perform spawning in Mangrove Forests. Gonad Maturity is a certain stage of gonadal development before and after spawning. The maturing gonadal development is part of reproduction before spawning occurs. This study was conducted to determine the Gonad Maturity of Brown Mud Crab (Scylla serrata Forskal) in the Buo Gulf Mangrove, Bungus, Teluk Kabung of Padang. The research was conducted in the month of May to July 2013 using the descriptive method through gonadal morphology observations Brown mud crab (Scylla serrata Forskal). the results showed  female Brown Mud Crab recovered amounted to 72 individual. The percentage of the Month of May until July Gonad Maturity I: 8.33%, Gonad Maturity II: 16.67%,  Gonad Maturity III: 16.67% Gonad Maturity IV: 13.89% Gonad Maturity V : 44.44%. Physic-chemical factor Waters measurement reports to temperature ranges from 28.4 to 31 ° C, pH 7-8, Salinitas water 32.3 to 34.5 ppm and depth of 50 cm-2 m.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce valid and pratical student worksheet on the material structure and function of plant tissue based on inquiry approach of class XI science SMA Negeri 1 Canduang. The types of this research is a development research. The models was developed by using three stages from 4-D models is such as define, design, develop, and disseminate. The disseminate phase is not done because of limited time and expense in the research. Data instrument are used such as validation sheet and practicality. Based on the research that has been made known the student worksheet be valid with percentage 80.27%. Practicality of LKS is obtained from teachers with percentage 75% and students  practical with percentage of 85.17%. Thus the quality of the products can be said to be valid by the validity of the test results of that has been done and practical by the practicality of the result of that has been done.

Abstract

Indonesia selalu mengalami perubahan kurikulum yang salah satunya yaitu kurikulum 2013. Perubahan kurikulum ini dilakukan pemerintah dengan tujuan perbaikan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, dimana dalam kurikulum 2013 ini muncul berbagai pendapat atau tanggapan serta terjadi pro dan kotra dari berbagai pihak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji Persepsi dari setiap guru bidang studi Ilmu Pengatahuan Alam di SMPN2 Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan terhadap pelaksanaan Pendekatan Saintifik dalam kurikulum 2013.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian ini semua guru bidang studi Ilmu Pengatahuan Alam di SMPN2 Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dan yang menjadi sampel adalahgurubidang studi Ilmu Pengatahuan Alam yang sudah melaksanakan kurikulum 2013. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan angket.Selanjutnya, dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru bidang studi Ilmu Pengatahuan Alam di SMPN2 Lengayang tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik dalam kurikulum 2013 tergolong cukupuntuk penerapannya, namun masih terdapat kekurangan yaitu pelaksanaannya masih cukup rumit karena siswa belum memahami betul langkah-langkah pembelajaran saintifik karena terbiasanya menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, sarana prasarana penunjang pada sekolah belum memadai seperti kurangnya buku pembelajaran yang tersedia disekolah, dan peralatan laboratorium yang kurang lengkap.

Abstract

Teachers carry out practical activities not yet using practicum guides. Practical activities carried out by teachers have tended to only provide instruction. This is because the school does not yet have a practical guidebook. Difficulties are also faced by students, because students do not know what practical activities will be carried out and cause a lack of preparation of students in practicing. This study aims to produce a practical guide based on Collaborative Teamwork Learning on life organization system material for class VII students in SMP in Bonjol Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency, which is valid. The type of development research (Develpomental research), the development model in the form of a descriptive procedural model which outlines the steps that must be followed to produce the product. The data collection technique used was a validation sheet questionnaire. The validity of the Collaborative Teamwork Learning practicum test conducted by material experts and media experts from the validation results obtained a percentage value based on aspects of didactic requirements 83.33%, aspects of construct requirements 84.72%, aspects of technical requirements 82.29% and aspects of language requirements is 89.58%. The overall validity test results obtained a percentage value of 84.98% with valid criteria. based on the results of the validity test the practicum guide analysis developed was valid for use in practical activities.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerdasarkan hasil wawancara penulis dengan guru biologi SMAN 5 Bukittinggi pada materi Bakteri (Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria) hasil ulangan harian siswa kelas X semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017 masih di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan sekolah adalah 72. Randahnya hasil belajar siswa salah satu penyebabnya yaitu alat evaluasi yang dugunakan kemungkinan terlalu sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang validitas, reliabilitas, indeks kesukaran dan daya pembeda pada soal uji coba pada materi Bakteri (Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria) kelas X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validitas soal terhadap soal ulangan harian pada materi Bakteri (Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria) kelas X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi rata-rata validitas 0,30 soal termasuk kriteria validitas rendah, hasil analisis reliabilitas soal ulangan harian yaitu 0,75 yang termasuk kriteria reliabilitas tinggi, hasil analisis indeks kesukaran dari 50 soal terdapat 9 soal (18%) termasuk soal sukar, 32 soal (64%) termasuk soal sedang, dan 9 soal (18%) termasuk soal mudah, jadi soal ulangan ini berada pada kriteria sedang. Analisis daya pembeda diperoleh kriteria sangat jelek 7 soal (14%), kriteria jelek sebanyak 15 soal (30%), kriteria cukup 20 soal (40%), dan kriteria baik 8 soal (16%), jadi soal ulangan ini berada pada kriteria daya pembeda jelek. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah soal ulangan harian pada materi Bakteri (Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria) kelas X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, indeks kesukaran telah  memenuhi kriteria soal yang baik dan daya pembeda belum memenuhi kriteria soal yang baik. Kata Kunci: Validitas, Reliabilitas, Indeks Kesukaran, Daya beda

Abstract

The aim of this study was to comprehend effects of jigsaw cooperative learning model and early ability on study outcomes in biology of class XI IPA students in education year 2015/2016. This quasi experiment studey used 2 x 2 factorial study design. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in class XI IPA4 as experiment, and class XI IPA3 as control groups. The instrument employed was final test to observe students study outcome. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dan kemampuan awal terhadap kompetensi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan menggunakan desain penelitian yaitu rancangan faktorial 2 X 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dan yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah kelas XI IPA4 dan kelas kontrol XI IPA3. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes akhir untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa, Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penilaian aspek afektif siswa adalah lembaran penilaian aspek afektif. Lembaran penilaian ini bertujuan untuk menilai sikap dan prilaku siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penilaian aspek psikomotor adalah lembaran penilaian aspek psikomotor. Lembar penilaian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kecakapan (keterampilan) siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Tekhnik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan kemampuan awal siswa menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap kompetensi ranah kognitif siswa, baik yang berkemampuan awal tinggi maupun rendah. (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap kompetensi ranah afektif siswa, baik yang berkemampuan awal tinggi maupun rendah. (3) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap kompetensi ranah psikomotor siswa, baik yang berkemampuan awal tinggi maupun rendah. (4) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kompetensi ranah kognitif belajar biologi siswa. Kata-kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Kemampuan awal, Kompetensi belajar.

Abstract

The main objective of the 2013 Curriculum is the formation of student character. The character of students is inseparable from the development of students' attitudes themselves. The development and formation of student attitudes can be done through direct learning and indirect learning. This study aims to look at the content of attitudes in lesson plans and the implementation of attitudes in biology learning. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through documentation studies, learning observations, and student statement questionnaires. This research was conducted at the Piloting High School Curriculum 2013 Cluster three in the city of Bandung. The results showed that in general the content of attitude competence in the lesson plan was 48.21% with the less category. The low content of attitudes in the lesson plans and their implementation has implications for the formation of student attitudes in learning, as seen from the 18 attitudes observed, only five attitudes became student habits. It is feared that this situation will hinder the achievement of the objectives of implementing the 2013 Curriculum and the goals of national education to shape the character of students

Abstract

The learning carried out in class XI MA Hidayatul Insan uses LKPD which is still limited and has not supported the learning needs of students, so that the learning that takes place is not optimal, the learning process is less interactive, inspiring, and less motivating students to actively participate. Teachers have not maximized the use of LKPD that is attractive to students. This study aims to determine the structure, feasibility, and student response to LKPD based on Liveworksheet Cell material. This research was conducted in class XI MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya and will use data collection instruments in the form of interview guidelines and to determine the quality of E-LKPD using validation from materials, media experts, and linguists. Based on what has been described, it is necessary to conduct research with the title "Development of Liveworksheet-Based LKPD on Class XI MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya Cell Material". The results of the liveworksheet-based LKPD Development Research were obtained from evaluations conducted by validators of material experts, media experts, and linguists. The quality of the material presented in the LKPD developed with an average score of 77.65% is included in the eligibility criteria. The quality of the LKPD display developed The average percentage of score obtained 80% is included in the feasible criteria and, the quality of the language presented in the LKPD developed with an average score of 98.57% is included in the very feasible criteria. Based on a small-scale trial, the results of students' responses to liveworksheet-based LKPD products showed a very positive response with 97.65%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Development of LKPD Based on Liveworksheets in Class XI Mahidayatul Insan Palangka Raya Cell Material is feasible and stated to be usable in the learning process.

Abstract

The use of plants by a part of society in the cultural scope is studied in a special branch of biological science, namely ethnobotany. Ethnobotany is a science that studies the relationship between humans and plants and their environment based on the life experienced by society. This study aims to find out what types of plants are used as medicine by the local community in Pendahara Village and to discover how to process and use plants as medicine by the community. The method in this study employs an exploratory survey method, which is research that seeks to explore something new, not widely known by the public, and aims to be studied more deeply by conducting direct interviews with sources and informants, namely the community in Pendahara Village. Data collection techniques are carried out by providing interviewers, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found 16 types of plants that can be used as traditional medicine. The results of the study found 16 types of plants that can be used as traditional medicine. These plant species are Orthosiphon aristatus, petindis plants, Hippobroma longifora, Tinospora cordifolia, Arcangesia flava (L.) Merr, Annona muricate, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L., Asplenium nidus L., Averrhoa bilimbi L., Areca catechu, Psidium guajava L., Cordyline, Acorus calamus L., Phyllanthus niruri L., Kalanchoe pinnata, and Luvunga sarmentosa. It was concluded that the use of the plant as a traditional medicine has been felt to be effective in external and internal medicine.
