Abstract

Cryptocurrency has become one of the most attractive investment instruments in the digital era. This article examines the role of cryptocurrency in portfolio diversification using the Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) approach. This study employs historical data analysis to measure volatility, correlation with traditional assets, and the impact of cryptocurrency integration into investment portfolios. The findings indicate that cryptocurrency has a low correlation with traditional assets such as stocks and bonds, potentially enhancing the risk-return ratio (Sharpe ratio). However, high volatility and regulatory uncertainty pose significant challenges. With an appropriate allocation strategy, cryptocurrency can serve as a complementary asset in portfolio diversification, particularly for investors with a high-risk tolerance.

Abstract

Learning is a collaboration between teachers and students to share and process information. The teacher has an crucial role in the learning process as a designer of learning scenarios, so that an interesting teaching and learning process occurs and can increase student enthusiasm. The results of observations found a lack of student enthusiasm in informatics subjects. This is characterized by the lack of interaction between students and teachers, lack of focus on learning, some students are busy playing their own gadgets and the lack of students to ask questions while learning. The learning that took place before was boring using only the lecture and question and answer technique, and the lack of utilization of the facilities provided. This study seeks to explore the implementation of the project-based learning model with a STEM approach in Informatics subjects to gauge student motivation. The utilized research methodology was class action research. The research participants comprised were 35 students of phase E of the Accounting Department at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. The data collection method used teacher observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The observation revealed a high category, reaching a score of 66% in the first meeting, 77% in the second meeting and 77% in the third meeting. These results are also supported by an increase in the class average score by 20%. Based on these findings, it can be iferred that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model with the STEM Approach can increase student enthusiasm.

Abstract

This Community Service Program conducted an outreach initiative for micro and small enterprises to adopt QRIS for the purpose of "Facilitating Financial Transactions," with a case study focused on Micro and Small Enterprises in Sigli City. This program aimed to provide both socialization and hands-on assistance regarding cashless payment systems through the use of QRIS barcodes. The objective of this outreach was to enhance the knowledge of Micro and Small Enterprises about cashless payment systems and their understanding of how to use QRIS to expand their business targets. The program provided insights into cashless payment systems, their benefits, their operational mechanics, and the convenience of transacting through the DANA E-Wallet application. Through this program, Micro and Small Enterprises partners were assisted at every stage: from registering for a personal DANA account, upgrading to DANA Premium and utilizing its fund withdrawal feature, to registering for DANA Business, and finally, generating the QRIS barcode. The results showed that the low level of understanding among Micro and Small Enterprises partners about the developments in cashless payment systems and the use of QRIS barcodes was successfully addressed through the implementation team's outreach. Furthermore, the absence of a support team to guide Micro and Small Enterprises in using QRIS was resolved by this community service program (PKM), conducted by lecturers and students from the Informatics Engineering study program at Jabal Ghafur University, which successfully increased the business owners' interest in the convenience of cashless payment systems.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a golden period that serves as a foundation for holistic child development, particularly in the aspect of fine motor skills, which can assist children in performing basic activities such as controlling finger movements and training hand-eye coordination. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of finger painting activities in improving the fine motor skills of preschool children at TK ABA Al-Fitrah, Karang Intan Subdistrict, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of pre-tests and post-tests.ensure safe and engaging facilities to optimally support the development of fine motor skills. The research results indicate an improvement in children's fine motor skills, evidenced by an increase in mastery from 38% in the pre-action phase to 62% in Cycle I and reaching 85% in Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that finger painting activities can train hand and finger muscles, enhance movement control, and strengthen hand-eye coordination through creative, exploratory, and enjoyable activities. The implications of this research suggest that teachers need to consistently present creative and interactive learning activities to support the development of young children. Parents are expected to accompany their children at home to ensure that fine motor stimulation continues. This research contributes to the development of play-based learning strategies in optimizing fine motor development in early childhood.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to transform education by enhancing student engagement and preparing learners to face the complexities of the modern era. However, observations at SMA Negeri 9 revealed that students still struggle to connect information from various sources and show low participation in class discussions. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) model integrated with Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) on students’ analytical thinking in biology learning. The research used a quasi-experimental method with a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Samples were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of an experimental class applying the SFE-SSI model and a control class using Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Data were collected through essay tests and observation sheets, and then analyzed using One-Way ANCOVA. The results showed a significant effect of the learning model on analytical thinking [F(1,69) = 12.245, p < 0.001, ηp² = 0.151]. It is concluded that the SFE model integrated with SSI effectively enhances students’ analytical thinking in biology learning.
