Abstract

Desa Karedok merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Jatigede, Kabupaten Sumedang yang dialiri oleh Sungai Cimanuk, sebagai salah satu spot destinasi wisata masyarakat lokal. Desa Karedok memiliki beragam potensi keindahan alam dan kuliner lokal yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui sektor pariwisata. Namun Desa ini belum begitu dikenal oleh masyarakat luar. Oleh karena itu tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memaksimalkan potensi alam dan kuliner lokal dengan pembuatan video feature dan didistribusikan melalui beragam platform media sosial. Pada tahap pra-produksi, dilakukan penyusunan skenario dan persiapan teknis. Tahap produksi melibatkan pengambilan gambar aktivitas sehari-hari masyarakat Desa Karedok, seperti bertani, berkumpul di aula desa, dan produksi telur asin yang menjadi ciri khas desa. Tahap pasca-produksi meliputi pengeditan dan penyelesaian video. Hasil dari video ini menampilkan kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat lokal, memberikan gambaran yang autentik tentang kehidupan di Desa Karedok, sehingga mampu menciptakan rasa kedekatan bagi penonton. Video tersebut diharapkan dapat menarik minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung dan mengenal lebih dekat keindahan alam serta kuliner lokal Desa Karedok, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Saran untuk Desa Karedok adalah untuk terus berinovasi dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam mempromosikan potensi wisata desa. Kolaborasi dengan pihak-pihak terkait juga diperlukan untuk memperluas jangkauan promosi dan menciptakan program-program pariwisata yang menarik serta berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study discusses the business resilience strategies of local media, namely Ayo Media Network with its portal AyoBandung.com and BandungBergerak.id which have different business approaches during and after the 2024 political year amidst media disruption. The intense political issues in 2024 with the holding of legislative and presidential elections, as well as simultaneous regional head elections are the background for the resilience efforts of the two media to be able to survive and maintain the sustainability of their businesses, and how they will continue after the 2024 political year amidst the media disruption conditions that occur as a critical impact of the development of social media and changes in media audience consumption behavior. By using a qualitative research paradigm approach and case study method, this study highlights how organizational resilience and digital transformation are applied in the business strategies of the two local digital media. Through interviews, observations, and document analysis, the main findings of this study are the similarities between the two media in strategizing diverse revenue streams not only from advertising on their news portals. The difference is, Ayo Media Network relies on media service innovation to adjust to market needs and utilizes an integrated multiplatform network as a bargaining power for advertisers or clients. Meanwhile, BandungBergerak.id focuses on the quality of journalistic content by maintaining its independence, especially from political influence, and accompanies community movements by opening up revenue opportunities from businesses outside of advertising. This research provides insight into the sustainability of media, in this case local digital media that is not affiliated with political forces, to remain relevant and competitive in a media industry that is increasingly being eroded by disruption.

Abstract

Political participation is important as a good citizen. Moreover, 2024 is a political year because in 2024 elections will be held to determine who will become president and leader of this country. In this election, for the first time Gen-Z participated in this election as a novice voter. This research departs from the researcher's curiosity about how social media influences their political participation in 2024, especially their political participation online on social media X. From there, the researcher formulated a new research. From there, the researcher formulated Research Objectives, namely this research focuses on factors such as political participation intentions, especially the political participation of novice voters who use social media X using quantitative research methods with a Likert scale as a benchmark. In addition, in its implementation, researchers used non-probability sampling techniques with convenience sampling. To calculate the sample, the sample was calculated with G-Power. Then the sample is calculated using SPSS. Because with this application we can test the validity of the data in terms of reliability, validity and internal consistency as measured by confirmatory factor analysis. We can determine the results we test using this Application to determine whether the information we provide is accurate.

Abstract

Bobotoh adalah sebutan bagi pendukung klub sepak bola Persib Bandung. Bobotoh memiliki semangat tinggi mendukung pertandingan Persib Bandung. Dijatuhkannya sanksi kepada salah satu bobotoh yang menyalakan dan menjual flare dalam pertandingan Persib melawan Persikabo 1978, ditambah Persib kalah 4-1 memicu kemarahan para bobotoh sehingga menimbulkan kericuhan antara bobotoh dan manajemen Persib termasuk Teddy Tjahjono (Direktur Persib Bandung). Protes dilakukan melalui Twitter dengan tagar #TeddyOut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui analisis jaringan komunikasi dan mengidentifikasi aktor yang berpengaruh didalam jaringan #TeddyOut di Twitter. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Social Network Analysis (SNA) serta teori Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). Data yang dikumpulkan melalui Twitter dari tanggal 15-18 April 2023. Aplikasi yang digunakan untuk pengambilan dan analisis data yaitu website Netlytic.org dan perangkat lunak Gephi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan 1555 nodes dan 1546 edges dengan nilai diameter 12 yang berarti jarak diantara aktor cukup jauh sehingga interaksi diantara aktor akan semakin sulit dan lebih kecil. Interaksi antar aktor tidak merata, sangat sedikit dan hanya satu arah. Interaksi #TeddyOut terpusat sepuluh aktor. Menurut hasil analisis degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, dan eigenvector centrality aktor-aktor yang paling berpengaruh di dalam jaringan #TeddyOut adalah @provokatroo & @gnrlfans.

Abstract

“3 Bacapres Bicara Gagasan” is a livestream talk show by Najwa Shihab which lets the 3 “Bakal Calon Presiden” (presidential candidate) share their ideas and dreams for the future Indonesia and was first broadcast through Narasi TV’s website, Najwa Shihab’s YouTube channel, and Universitas Gadjah Mada’s YouTube channel. Since then, the snippets have been spread widely throughout every social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. Using quantitative methods, this research aims to see whether there are influences of the “3 Bacapres Bicara Gagasan” broadcast and snippets, which are available and have become a major conversation on social media, on first-time voters preferences regarding the 2024 presidential election. The sample size is 100 respondend using slovin’s formula of sampling. This research shows that the snippets or informations spread to social media does effect the preferences of first-time voters, such as their opinion and likes towars which candidate. However, it shows negative results towards voters’ candidate criterias. Voters’ understanding toward the show also don’t show any influence toward first-time voter’s preferences regarding the 2024 presidential elections.
