Abstract

Accidents can occur anytime and anywhere such as accidents that occur at work at height. This study aims to identify and analyze potential hazards in the install and dismantle scaffolding work using TRA (Task Risk Assessment) method. The results of the risk assessment using TRA on this work obtained four job description with 2 jobs at low risk, namely initial risk of 4 and after controlling for residual risk of 2. For install and dismantle scaffolding show that medium risk was obtained with an initial risk of 12 and after controlling, the residual risk becomes 9.

Abstract

Fire is an event that can cause harm to people and property, it can happen anywhere. Fire is a fatal thing if it occurs in the industrial sector because it can disrupt the continuity of operational and production activities, and can cause huge losses to the factory. The aim of this research is to analyze the fire protection system in milk factories in Indonesia. This research was carried out as an observational research type. This research was carried out involving safety officers and safety inspectors. The results of this research show that potential fire risks have been identified in the Milk Factory and an active fire protection system and life-saving facilities have been implemented. The active fire protection system consists of fire alarms, fire detectors, sprinklers, hydrants and APAR. Meanwhile, life-saving facilities include exits, emergency stairs, exit signs, emergency doors, emergency lighting, gathering points. The conclusion of this research is that the milk factory already has a fire protection system and life-saving facilities in accordance with existing standards and regulations. Keywords : Fire, Fire Protection System, Milk Factory ABSTRAK Kebakaran merupakan suatu kejadian yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian pada manusia dan harta benda hal tersebut dapat terjadi dimana saja. Kebakaran merupakan suatu hal yang fatal jika terjadi di sektor industri karena hal tersebut dapat menggangu keberlangsungan kegiatan operasional dan produksi, dapat membuat kerugian yang besar bagi pabrik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa sistem proteksi kebakaran yang ada di Pabrik Susu di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksakaan dengan jenis penelitian observasional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan safety officer dan safety inspector.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telah dilakukan identifikasi potensi resiko kebakaran di Pabrik Susu dan telah dilakukan pemenuhan sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif dan sarana penyelamatan jiwa. Sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif tersebut terdiri dari alarm kebakaran, detektor kebakaran, sprinkler, Hidran dan APAR. Sedangkan untuk sarana penyelamatan jiwa berupa sarana jalan keluar, tangga darurat, tanda petunjuk keluar, pintu darurat, penerangan darurat, titik bekumpul. Kesimpulan dari penelitian tersebut adalah pabrik susu sudah memiliki sistem proteksi kebakaran dan sarana penyelamatan jiwa sesuai dengan standar dan peraturan yang ada.

Abstract

Based on data from the Indonesian Police and Fire Department, the number of fire incidents is quite high and the most frequent fires are residential buildings. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research related to materials that can inhibit the spread of fire. This research was conducted with the intention of determining the ability of Tripotassium Citrate in sweet potato skin and Citric Acid in inhibiting the spread of fire. The purpose of this study was to determine which material is more effective by testing and combining the dosage of each material. The method used was to conduct an experimental test on the combination of these materials in inhibiting the spread of fire. The aspects measured in this study were the mass loss and the area burned from each sample. The experimental results show that Tripotassium citrate has a function in slowing down the fire ignition stage with a mass loss ranging from 0.67 - 0.97 grams and a percentage of burned area ranging from 17.54% - 23.85%. While citric acid has a function in slowing down the fire growth stage with a mass loss ranging from 0.01 - 0.17 grams and a percentage of burned area ranging from 1.75% - 7.08%. The combination of the two materials produced results with a mass loss ranging from 0.2 - 0.8 grams and a percentage of burned area ranging from 4.27% - 14.04%. With these results, it can be concluded that Tripotassium Citrate and Citric Acid can be used as fire retardants.

Abstract

Permasalahan keamanan dan keselamatan di ruang pimpinan perguruan tinggi masih tinggi akibat kurangnya implementasi nilai-nilai keamanan dan keselamatan yang memadai. Petugas keamanan bekerja dengan jumlah terbatas dan menghadapi tanggung jawab besar, sehingga diperlukan dukungan fasilitas yang efektif. Tujuan dari pembahasan ini adalah merancang sistem keamanan dan keselamatan yang mencakup deteksi dan penanggulangan dini terhadap kebakaran dan kriminalitas. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi pemasangan CCTV, APAR, serta detektor asap dan panas sebagai alat bantu pemantauan dan penanganan kondisi darurat. Metode pelaksanaan dibagi menjadi empat tahap. Perancangan Pemasangan CCTV, APAR, detektor asap dan panas di ruang pimpinan seluas 898 m² dengan tinggi langit-langit 4 meter. Pemasangan CCTV menggunakan metode AHP untuk menentukan lokasi dan kriteria pemasangan, dengan hasil kesesuaian 28,5%, perlu tambahan 5 unit. Pemasangan APAR mengacu pada Permenakertrans No. 4 Tahun 1980, dengan hasil keseuaian 20%, dibutuhkan tambahan 8 unit dengan isi Dry Powder atau CO₂. Pemasangan detektor asap dan panas dirancang berdasarkan SNI 03-3985-2000 dan Permenaker No. 2 Tahun 1983, dengan kesesuaian 10,5%, kebutuhan total 34 unit untuk berbagai ruangan. Perancangan ini menghasilkan denah dengan sistem fasilitas keamanan yang dapat meningkatkan implementasi keselamatan yang lebih baik di ruang pimpinan.
