Abstract

This research is based on learning mathematics which is generally centered on teachers, who are considered able to make students understand the material provided. Whereas, in the implementation of curriculum 2013 students should play an active role in learning. The techniques used in this research are observations, interviews, polls, tests and documentation. The learning Model in this study uses a realistic mathematical learning approach. The purpose of this research is to design the LKS with a realistic mathematical approach that is capable of developing mathematical and self-reliance communication characters in students. The research instruments used are interview guidelines, observation guidelines, LKS, expert assessment sheets, teacher and student response polls. The results showed that the LKS developed were said to be worthy of use based on the 4.2 and 3.75 scores of material experts and media experts. As well as scores 26.3 and 75.97 of students and teachers who show interesting LKS. So it concludes that the LKS are worth using and attracting teachers and students ' attention.

Abstract

Kondisi cuaca yang mudah berubah saat ini menyebabkan ketinggian gelombang di perairan Pulau Jawa Judul sulit untuk ditebak. Pulau Bawean adalah salah satu Pulau Kecil di tengah laut Jawa yang distribusi logistik dan aktivitas lainnya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi laut Jawa. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah metode untuk mengidentifikasi model matematika ketinggian gelombang perairan Pulau Bawean agar dapat membantu instansi terkait dalam memprediksi ketinggian gelombang secara akurat. ARIMA merupakan salah satu metode dalam analisis data time series yang banyak digunakan untuk menganalisis data secara statistik untuk mendapatkan model terbaik berdasarkan perilaku data tersebut, salah satu diantaranya adalah data ketinggian gelombang. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa ARIMA(2,1,0) merupakan model terbaik untuk ketinggian gelombang perairan Pulau Bawean.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika masih dijumpai guru yang terlalu aktif sehingga mengakibatkan pembelajaran yang tidak bermakna bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) di MTs. Al Jadid di Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dan desain yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest control group design. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti yang berperan langsung dalam proses pembelajaran dan guru sebagai observer. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A dan VIII B. Kelas VIII A sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang menggunakan pembelajaran RME dan Kelas VIII B menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes hasil belajar dan dianalis dengan two independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) di MTs, Al Jadid di Sidoarjo dan tidak ada perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara kedua kelompok tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak— Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) membuat model pembelajaran materi kubus danbalok menggunakan pemecahan masalah Polya dengan produk penelitian adalah modulpembelajaran materi kubus dan balok berbasis pemecahan masalah Polya; 2) mengetahuiperbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang diajar menggunakanpemecahan masalah Polya dan yang tidak diajar menggunakan pemecahan masalah Polya.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttestcontrol group design. Penentuan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik cluster random sampling.Untuk membuat model pembelajaran diperlukan penyusunan silabus dan rencana pelaksanaanpembelajaran (RPP) serta lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) sebagai penunjang dalampembelajaran menggunakan pemecahan masalah Polya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah teskemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan duaindependent sample t test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahanmasalah siswa yang diajar menggunakan pemecahan masalah Polya berbeda dengan siswayang tidak diajar menggunakan pemecahan masalah Polya. Dari beberapa jawaban siswadiperoleh 20 siswa memenuhi semua indikator pemecahan masalah, 1 siswa memenuhiindikator memahami masalah, 3 siswa memenuhi indikator memahami masalah danmelaksanakan rencana, dan 3 siswa hanya memenuhi indikator melaksanakan rencana

Abstract

Numeracy ability is a basic ability that must be mastered by students especially elementary school students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to improve the ability to count, add and subtract numbers 1-20 in slow learner students using ice cream stick media. This study uses quantitative experimental research on a single subject with an ABA design. The single subject in this study is a 1st grade student of SDN Tebul 1. There are 3 data collection methods used, namely interviews, observations and tests, while the data analysis uses visual analysis consisting of two types, namely in-condition analysis and inter-condition analysis. The results of this study concluded that ice cream stick media can improve numeracy skills in slow learner students. Based on the results of visual analysis, it was shown that in the initial baseline phase (A1) the ability to calculate the initial addition and subtraction of numbers 1-20 of slow learner students was still lacking with an average percentage of test results of 30%, after being given treatment in the intervention phase (B) by providing learning to count the addition and subtraction of numbers 1-20 using ice cream stick media, the numeracy ability of slow learner students increased by 45.33% with an average percentage of test results in the intervention phase (B) was 75.33% without overlapping data.

Abstract

In the constantly advancing era of digitalisation, ensuring cyber security has become essential in preserving the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of organisational data. The primary focus of this research is to emphasise the importance of cybersecurity awareness in safeguarding systems and information. The 1945 Constitution serves as the primary governing document for the government and legal system. The 1945 Constitution enacts legislation that ensures freedom of expression, a pertinent principle in cyber security. This research aimed to examine the role of security management in enhancing cyber security by applying principles in accordance with the 1945 Constitution. This research identified the factors affecting cyber security awareness and proposed strategies to enhance user awareness through a comprehensive literature review and examined recent findings. Security management is essential for guaranteeing the security of IT systems and infrastructure. Based on a literature review, this study determined the role of security management in assisting organisations in identifying, managing, and addressing security threats effectively. In addition, the hypothesised findings concluded that advancing cyber security in Indonesia is a fundamental aspect of state sovereignty, as stated in the 1945 Constitution and the principle of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). These findings demonstrated the significance of comprehending cyber security for users and organisations and the necessity of international cooperation in the realm of national security in cyber. By gaining a more comprehensive comprehension of the function of security management, it is anticipated that organisations can enhance security protocols and mitigate security vulnerabilities as they confront the challenges of the present digital age.

Abstract

In a rapidly evolving business world with the support of technology, companies must adopt effective strategies to stay competitive. One very helpful tool is SWOT Analysis or stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats Analysis, which requires companies to identify internal strengths and external opportunities in order tol achieve comlpetitive advalntage. Thisl study aimls lto explore the role of SWOT Analysis in recognizing relevant strengths and opportunities for companies, assessing their impact on management decision making, and analyzing challenges and opportunities in their application in the digital era and globalization. SWOT analysis helps companies in designing effective strategies to achieve competitive advantage and maintain business continuity in the midst of fierce competition. The research method used is a systematic literature review, which includes the collection and analysis of data from various literatures. The results of the discussion show that SWOT Analysis is very important in helping companies formulate effective strategies by considering internal and external factors. In addition, the digital age and globalization bring challenges such as changing consumer preferences and increased competition, but also offer opportunities for market expansion and cross-border partnerships. Therefore, SWOT Analysis is an important tool in helping companies make strategic decisions to improve competitiveness in a dynamic global market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical disposition with the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students in Mechanical Engineering at Vocational High School 7 Surabaya. This type of research is correlational research. This research was also an ex post facto study. The population in this study was the tenth grade students of Machining Technique at SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya, the sampling technique in this study was a saturated sample technique. The sample used in this study was 115 students. Data collection on self-efficacy and mathematical disposition was obtained by questionnaire method, while data on mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from mathematical tests. Thedata analysis technique used in this study is multiple correlation analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results in this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and mathematics learning outcomes. ; (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between mathematical dispositions and mathematics learning outcomes. ; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical disposition with students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of the partial correlation test, mathematical disposition variables have more influence on the students' mathematics learning outcomes variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi barisan dan deret serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya LKPD berbasis problem based learning pada materi barisan dan deret. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni Define, Design, Development, dan Dissemination. Namun, penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap Development karena penelitian ini terbatas pada uji laboratorium. Hasil uji kelayakan LKPD yang dikembangkan yakni untuk validasi ahli materi sebesar 93,85% (sangat layak) dan untuk validasi ahli media sebesar 96,67% (sangat layak). Hasil uji paired sample t-test yakni 0.000 < 0.05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya LKPD berbasis problem based learning pada materi barisan dan deret. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan sangat layak dan LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.
