Abstract

Patient registration is the initial stage of medical records in every health care facility, at the patient registration site the patient's personal identity data will be recorded as well as the purpose of his visit to the hospital. The reason for choosing the service topic is because many patients and families still do not understand the flow of outpatient patient registration at the hospital. The service method used is the pre-post test method through giving questionnaires about knowledge about the flow of outpatient registration. The result of this service activity is an increase in knowledge about the flow of outpatient patient registration. This activity is very important because patients and families need fast and precise service, so it is necessary to provide counseling or socialization about the flow of outpatient registration.

Abstract

Adolescents are the next generation who are currently in an important transitional stage toward adulthood. At this phase, they are highly vulnerable to various influences, including a lack of knowledge about reproductive health, the risk of stunting, and the impacts of early marriage. In response to these conditions, a community service activity was conducted at the Auditorium of STIKes Gunung Maria Tomohon, Tomohon City, with the aim of providing health education to students so that they can better understand the importance of adolescents’ role in preventing stunting and the negative impacts of early marriage. The program was carried out in three stages: planning in collaboration with the BKKBN team and the school, delivering interactive health education using engaging media, and evaluation through a question-and-answer session. A total of 164 students enthusiastically participated in the activity, and the discussion results revealed that reproductive health and early marriage were their primary concerns. It is expected that through continuous education, adolescents will be able to make wiser decisions for their future and contribute to stunting prevention within their communities. Programs like this are essential to be held regularly and to reach more schools.

Abstract

Elderly is when a person becomes older and experiences a decline in physical function, which is characterized by a decrease in muscle mass and strength, maximum heart rate, increased body fat, and decreased brain function. The reason for choosing the service topic is because elderly people cannot do activities for long enough and have to do more activities at home, which causes them to feel anxious about their condition and experience stress, which has an impact on their quality of life. The service method used is the lecture and talk show method with elderly people suffering from hypertension. The result of this service activity is that there is an increase in knowledge about the management of hypertension in the elderly. This activity is very important to carry out, especially targeting elderly people with hypertension because the elderly are no longer able to carry out activities and are unable to comply with taking anti-hypertension medication, so they need to be provided with counseling or socialization regarding the management of hypertension.

Abstract

Gunung Maria Hospital Tomohon has implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) since 2023. However, technical challenges and user unpreparedness hinder implementation. Evaluation using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is crucial to identify user perceptions. This study aims to assess the relationship between perceived usefulness, ease of use, behavioral intention, and actual use with EMR implementation. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, involving 70 respondents. Data were analyzed using chi-square tests. The results show significant associations between EMR implementation and all TAM variables. Optimal EMR implementation supports service quality and administrative efficiency. In conclusion, EMR optimization should focus on training, technical support, and managerial policy.
