Abstract

Motivation is very important in learning activities to encourage students to learn well. Motivation is seen as a mental drive that directs human behavior, including learning behavior. In motivation there is a desire to activate, move, chanel and direct attitudes and behavior in learnes. Desiredbehavior in learning activities is a reaction to stimuli that lead to an action. The research aims to find out the factors that motivate Christian learning in SD Negeri 02 Ungaran. sThe main factors that influence learning motivation are intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors, self-will, interest in subjects, and orientation to education. While the extrinsic factor is the way of teaching the teacher, the teacher’s character, the atmosphere of the classroom is calm and comfortable, and the learning facilitas used. Motivasi sangat penting dalam kegiatan belajar untuk mendorong peserta didik untuk belajar dengan baik. Motivasi dipandang sebagai dorongan mental yang mengarahkan perilaku manusia, termasuk dalam perilaku belajar. Dalam motivasi terkandung adanya keinginan yang mengaktifkan, menggerakkan, menyalurkan dan mengarahkan sikap serta perilaku pada peserta didik yang belajar. Perilaku yang diinginkan dalam kegiatan belajar yaitu adanya reaksi terhadap rangsangan yang membawa pada suatu tindakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang motivasi belajar Agama Kristen di SD Negeri 02 Ungaran. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar adalah faktor Intrinsik dan faktor Ekstrinsik. Faktor Intrinsik, kemauan diri, minat terhadap mata pelajaran, dan orientasi pada pendidikan. Sedangkan faktor Ekstrinsiknya ialah cara mengajar guru, karakter guru, suasana kelas tenang dan nyaman, dan fasilitas belajar yang digunakan.

Abstract

Learning activities have an essential role in improving learning, which serves to see how understanding students receive new knowledge from the teaching and learning process, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic with audiovisual materials at Kana Ungaran Integrated Kindergarten. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative (survey). The data collection method used a questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) aspects of children's learning activities in participating in the learning process in terms of prayer (93%) were stated to be very active; (2) then the observing aspect (76%) can be noted that children are involved in online learning; (3) then the aspect of remembering (94%) can be stated that the child is very active in participating in the learning process in terms of placing; and (4) the next aspect is understanding (66%) can be stated that they are pretty active in the learning process. From the research results, the lowest aspect is understanding (66%), and the highest aspect is remembering (94%). This study suggests that teachers and parents work together and entrust the child to the supervisor during the online learning process.

Abstract

Maria Lidya Wenas & I Putu Ayub Darmawan, Significance Children Education in Biblical Perspective. Education of children is important in human life. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Bible perpsektif about children's education? The purpose of this study is to outline perpsektif Bible about children's education. Types of research in this paper is the qualitative research literature. The object of this study is a biblical perspective on the education of children. In this study, researchers conducted a literature study to be able to explore and understand the biblical view of children's education. In this study, the authors sought feedback from a grasp of Hebrew and Greek. This is to avoid the use of verses in Hebrew and Greek avoid deviations. From this study showed that (1) Education of children as the planting of faith; (2) Education of children as a process of knowledge transfer; (3) the child's education as a process of value investment. Maria Lidya Wenas &I Putu Ayub Darmawan, Signifikansi Pendidikan Anak Dalam Perspektif Alkitab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memaparkan perpsektif Alkitab tentang pendidikan anak. Jenis penelitan dalam karya tulis ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka. Objek penelitian ini adalah perspektif Alkitab tentang pendidikan anak. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan studi literatur untuk dapat menggali dan memahami pandangan Alkitab tentang pendidikan anak. Dalam penelitian ini penulis meminta masukan dari seorang yang memahami tentang Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar penggunaan ayat-ayat dalam Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani tidak terjadi penyimpangan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil yaitu (1) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman iman; (2) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses transfer pengetahuan; (3) pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman nilai.

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is the ability possessed by a person to knowing and understanding the truth of God's Word. The aim of this research is to find out what are the efforts of the leaders of the Bunga Lilies Orphanage in increasing the spirituality of foster children towards community social action as the implementation of love. In collecting data, this study used a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews, observations and literature studies. So the results of this study indicate that in an effort to increase the spiritual intelligence of children in family orphanages, there are several things that can be done, namely by conducting prayer activities, reading Bible movements, procuring evangelism to villages, and holding social actions to the community. The efforts that have been made have become the embodiment of the implementation of love as evidence of the increasing spiritual intelligence of the orphanage children.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z) dominates Indonesia’s population, numbering 27.94%. Marked by their love for new technologies and fear of becoming “outdated”, these traits surely have a good impact on their development. However, these traits rise new negative impact: the fear of missing out (FOMO) which can lead to lower level of life satisfaction, psychological distress, and anxiety. Based on these problems, the study focuses on integrating the love of Christ in family discipleship to overcome FOMO in Gen Z.  The authors used qualitative research approach by using literature review. Based on the review of various literature sources and idea framework building, the authors proposed three steps of discipleship in the family according to the love of Christ in overcoming FOMO. Firstly, discipleship is conducted by exposition to agape love concept, which has a role in shaping concept of self in the family environment. Gen Z is discipled by guiding them to receive God's love that provides forgiveness and restoration for sinners. Secondly, discipleship is conducted in family by exposition to storge love concept. Parents provide guidance and education lovingly without having to arouse Gen Z’s anger. Third, discipleship is conducted by exposition to philia love concept, which occurs in an environment of friendship. The family becomes a common place to exhibit Christlikeness in an atmosphere of friendship. Abstract

Kemajuan dalam dunia pendidikan tidak dapat terlepas dari peran penting seorang tenaga pendidik. Keberadaan seorang tenaga pendidik memberi pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam proses pendidikan seorang peserta didik, baik dalam perkembangan pengetahuan maupun dalam pembentukan karakternya. Seorang tenaga pendidik harus memahami empat kompetensi yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang guru atau dosen sesuai yang telah ditetapkan dalam Undang-Undang No. 14 Tahun 2005, yaitu kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi sosial. Kompetensi kepribadian seorang dosen memiliki pengaruh dalam proses pembentukan karakter disiplin mahasiswa. Bagaimana peran kompetensi kepribadian dosen dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin mahasiswa STT Simpson? Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, serta studi literatur tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari tulisan ini adalah untuk menemukan peran dari kompetensi kepribadian dosen dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin mahasiswa STT Simpson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh kompetensi kepribadian dosen dengan pembentukan karakter disiplin rohani mahasiswa. Namun, perlu karya Roh Allah untuk mendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin rohani mahasiswa.

Abstract

Christianity in Indonesia can continue to thrive and grow as the church is constantly regenerating, a process that began with Sunday School. Sunday School is the church's primary means of educating the next generation of the church knowledge about Christ. However, there are still Sunday school teachers who do not take the significance of their position seriously. This cannot be separate from the lack of personality competence of Sunday school teachers; consequently, Sunday school teachers in Indonesia frequently disregard their personality competence. The significance of the personality competence of Sunday School teachers cannot be overstated. In 1 Timothy 3:1-7, it is elucidated that an elder who serves as a teacher must possess a personality that aligns with the requisite qualities of an elder. In this section, the writer performs a biblical analysis of 1 Timothy 3:1-7, identifying two distinct frameworks that outline the necessary competencies of an elder's personality. The aforementioned personality competencies encompass possessing a favourable disposition in one's surroundings as well as exhibiting a spiritually healthy personality. The personality competencies outlined have implications for Sunday school teachers in Indonesia. Specifically, it is recommended that Sunday school teachers possess a personality that aligns with both social norms and Christian values.

Abstract

Generasi Z, yang lahir antara tahun 1997 hingga 2012, membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pendekatan pendidikan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi gaya belajar Generasi Z dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen di gereja, sekolah, dan keluarga. Pendekatan pendidikan yang efektif memerlukan pemahaman mendalam tentang preferensi belajar siswa. Generasi Z dikenal karena keterampilan teknologi tinggi, preferensi untuk pembelajaran visual dan interaktif, serta keinginan untuk keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang terintegrasi antara pendidikan Kristen, baik di gereja, sekolah, maupun keluarga, dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritual sambil memenuhi kebutuhan belajar Generasi Z. Usulan dalam pendidikan nasional perlu mempertimbangkan adaptasi kurikulum yang responsif terhadap preferensi belajar ini.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z) dominates Indonesia’s population, numbering 27.94%. Marked by their love for new technologies and fear of becoming “outdated”, these traits surely have a good impact on their development. However, these traits rise new negative impact: the fear of missing out (FOMO) which can lead to lower level of life satisfaction, psychological distress, and anxiety. Based on these problems, the study focuses on integrating the love of Christ in family discipleship to overcome FOMO in Gen Z.  The authors used qualitative research approach by using literature review. Based on the review of various literature sources and idea framework building, the authors proposed three steps of discipleship in the family according to the love of Christ in overcoming FOMO. Firstly, discipleship is conducted by exposition to agape love concept, which has a role in shaping concept of self in the family environment. Gen Z is discipled by guiding them to receive God's love that provides forgiveness and restoration for sinners. Secondly, discipleship is conducted in family by exposition to storge love concept. Parents provide guidance and education lovingly without having to arouse Gen Z’s anger. Third, discipleship is conducted by exposition to philia love concept, which occurs in an environment of friendship. The family becomes a common place to exhibit Christlikeness in an atmosphere of friendship. Abstract

Dalam melaksanakan tugas keprofesionalannya, seorang guru harus memiliki kompetensi yang dihayati dan dikuasainya. Salah satu kompetensi dalam profesi seorang guru adalah memiliki kepribadian yang mantap, selain kecakapan dalam mengajar. Sebagai guru Agama Kristen maka penting untuk membangun konsep kepribadian yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai kekristenan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah pendekatan penelitian pustaka yang diambil dari berbagai sumber pustaka termasuk beberapa penelitian yang terpublikasi. Guru agama Kristen adalah guru yang mencerminkan sosok pribadi Yesus sebagai teladan. Guru agama Kristen harus mengenal dirinya dan panggilannya sebagai seorang yang dipilih Tuhan untuk menjadi pendidik dan pengajar; mampu menguasai diri dalam segala keadaan, baik keinginan dan harapan serta memiliki kestabilan emosi; memiliki kasih sejati yang terpancar dalam kehidupan kesehariannya dengan sesama; kematangan dalam kehidupan spiritualnya; serta terus mengembangkan diri dalam menjalankan tugas profesinya sebagai guru.
